Edward Findleton: Welcome to HAW, Downtown Disaster, and we are in New York City! We've got a huge main event with two young superstars, Phoenix and Douglas Brunswick!

THE Casey Gains: And the winner of that match will face the winner of the twenty man battle royal next month at Summit of Success!

Edward Findleton: But we're going to kick things off with The United States and Crash Musclegate!

The United States came out at that point, walking to the ring with a microphone.

The United States: New York City! When immigrants came here from Europe, this is the first city they saw. Lady Liberty held her torch high, and let everyone know that you can achieve your dreams! You can fulfill your destiny! And, sure, most of these immigrants failed, ended up working horrible jobs, and all their descendants are in the audience tonight after barely scrounging up enough money to come to this show...but I can assure you that tonight, you will see dreams come true....when I defeat Crash Musclegate once and for all!

The crowd booed The United States but cheered when Crash Musclegate's music hit. He came out energized, and ready to go, accompanied by The MuscleGang. Referee Tom Hunter rang the bell, and the match was underway. Crash started out with some running attacks against The United States, and would only stop when Tom Hunter called for a break to allow The United States to recover. Crash continued his attack, but The United States rolled out of the ring to catch a breather.

THE Casey Gains: We've seen this before!

Crash didn't allow any time to pass this time, as he jumped out after The United States. The United States tried to run around the outside of the ring, but as he turned past the ring post, Liam, Oden, and Frederic St. Pierre had formed a human wall. The United States stopped and turned around, only to be met by Crash grabbing him and whipping him into the ringpost.

Crash picked up the United States, and threw him into the ring. The United States tried to crawl out of the ring to hide, but Crash picked him up and whipped him into the ropes. On bounce back. Crash delivered a Dropkick right to the face of The United States, and covered him for a three count.

Edward Findleton: Wow! Crash Musclegate, completely dominating The United States in this match!

THE Casey Gains: The States tried to do the same game plan twice...it wasn't going to work tonight, and Crash makes him pay!

Backstage, Phoenix was getting warmed up, when he saw Douglas Brunswick walk by.

Phoenix: Douglas! Hey....no matter what happens out there, good luck.

Douglas Brunswick: ...Same to you. Let's put on the match of the year.

Phoenix: Yeah! Hey uhh...you just came from parking right? Did you see Sentinel?

Douglas Brunswick: No, why?

Phoenix: I just...thought he'd be here by now. Maybe he's stuck in traffic. It's all good. I'll see you out there later!

The two men shook hands, and departed.

The Insomniac Kenneth Cobb was in an alley, leaning against a brick building, shaking his head and slapping himself in the face. Referee Brenda Moses was nearby, shivering in the cold night. Suddenly, tire's screeching around a corner were heard, and bright headlights shined over Cobb. The camera panned to a car, which turned off and Scarred Badger got out. He pointed at Cobb and screamed “Let's go!” and started approaching him.

Cobb charged at Badger, who grabbed him and threw Cobb right onto the hood of the car. Badger crawled on top of Cobb and the car and started punching him, but Cobb managed to kick Badger off, who fell backwards into some trashcans. Cobb approached Badger, but Badger grabbed a trashcan lid and slammed it against Kenneth, who fell backwards into a puddle getting soaked. Badger then pushed Cobb's face into the puddle, trying to drown him, but Brenda Moses broke it up.

Badger picked up Cobb, and started leading him out of the alley, and onto the main road. A local deli had its lights on, and Badger threw Cobb into the door and inside the building. Patrons inside scrambled out of the way, as Badger smashed Cobb's face against the a display case of meat. The Insomniac started to push back through, and lifted Badger up and over the display, sending him backwards into the employee area. Cobb crawled back as well, grabbed a cutting board, and threw it at Badger. Cobb then picked up a nearby knife, and brought Badger's hand onto the cutting board. Cobb thrust the knife downward, but Badger was able to move his hand at the last instant. In desperation, Badger reached for a condiment bottle, and squirted it in Kenneth Cobb's eyes.

Cobb retreated, going into a backroom, and Badger was able to recover. Badger started to follow Cobb into the backroom, but couldn't find him, only a stairway leading down to a basement door. Badger followed it, opened it, and revealed a room with tons of people who started cheering, all surrounding Kenneth Cobb but allowing a path for Badger to get to him. As Badger approached, the crowd enclosed on them, cheering for them to fight.

Both men started trading punches, and bloodying and bruising each other up. Badger then pushed Cobb away into the crowd, who pushed Cobb forward back into the circle. Badger raised his foot up for a Big Boot, but Cobb duck and tackled Scarred Badger's free standing leg. Badger fell and screamed in pain, holding his knee. The Insomniac stood over Scarred Badger, and with no remorse, locked in a sleeper hold. Scarred Badger tried let go of his knee to try and break Cobb's hold, but started to fade. Referee Brenda Moses ran into the circle and checked Badger's arm, lifting it three times. On the third time, Badger's arm fell limp, and she called the match.

The crowd cheered, and Cobb let the hold go. Brenda Moses presented Cobb with the HAW National Championship. Cobb stared at the title for a bit, then put it over his shoulder and walked into the crowd, disappearing in the mass of bodies.

The Men of Power came out, all looking angry and having high tensions.

Edward Findleton: It's a four way tag match, and Calhoun has been more angry than usual these past few weeks!

THE Casey Gains: Calhoun thrives on having the upper ground in every conflict but recently, he's been playing from behind. That's been a disaster so far for the Men of Power!

The Musical Lifeguard Chairs came out next, and then shortly after, The Trans-Atlantic Family, with Franco dressed in street clothes again. He came to ringside and put on a headset to join in on commentary.

Edward Findleton: And Former HAW World Champion, joining us on commentary! Heh, maybe one of these days you and I can get back in the ring and I can get a rematch, eh?

Franco: Edward, I ain't cleared to fight yet but if you and I went in that ring right now, I would beat you so bad even with some injured ribs you'll be wishing you were at the bottom of the Hudson. I'm here to focus on my boys Sean and Fergus, because you know I don't trust Calhoun or his cronies!

Calhoun was upset at Franco's presence and was arguing to referee Dennis Thompson, who seemed unphased by all the events. Calhoun leaned over the ropes and started screaming at Franco.

Franco: Yo! Focus on the ring, punk or else I'll whack you again! Ya hear me? Focus on not ending up on the mat again!

THE Casey Gains: I'm just so ready to bolt out of this chair at any point if the action comes here. This is going to be a war.

The match began, with Fun Fight Machine pairing off with Mr. Lifeguard. Lifeguard got the better of Fun Fight Machine early, but he tagged out for Rat. The two veterans had some good back and forth action, neither gaining an upper hand. They each managed to counter each other, ending up near their own corners, and decided to each tag, with Fergus coming in and then James Calhoun. Calhoun's anger and rage showed, as he started to violently attack Fergus, and isolated him from the far corner. Calhoun repeatedly attacked Fergus, making eye contact with Franco Mancini as he slammed Fergus O'Toole to the ground.

Franco: Come on Ferg. You got this buddy, fight back!

Calhoun rolled Fergus outside of the ring in front of Franco. He picked Fergus up, and hit The Cobra Clutch Slam to the outside ground. Calhoun leaned across the announcer table, and Franco leaned towards him.

Calhoun: If I can't end your career....I'll end your friends.

Franco: You ain't ending nothing Calhoun. My boys are tougher than you can imagine.

Calhoun picked Fergus up and rolled him into the ring, then tagged in The Behemoth. The much larger Behemoth started to toy with Fergus O'Toole. Calhoun meanwhile jumped off the apron, taunting Franco. Seeing this, Mr. Lifeguard jumped down and ran to the other side of the ring. Fun Fight Machine and Rat also jumped down, backing up Calhoun, as the five men started to argue.

Edward Findleton: I can't hear myself think but the match is still going on in the ring!

The Behemoth started to lift Fergus O'Toole up almost like a powerbomb, but Fergus suddenly reversed it and turned it into a DDT, stunning the Behemoth. The verbally shouting wrestlers didn't realize what was happening, and Fergus quickly made a desperation tag to Sean O'Toole! The Behemoth stood up, and Sean O'Toole stretched his legs out as far as he could, delivering a Superkick right to the Behemoth's head!

Edward Findleton: Oh! Superkick! But...Sean looks hurt!

The height difference and stretching of the kick caused Sean to fall to the ground, holding his groin and thigh's in pain. Seeing this, LaZor quickly tagged himself in, and climbed to the top rope. He jumped off, hitting The Behemoth with a Shooting Star Press! He stayed on for the cover, and Dennis Thompson counted to three, LaZor picking up the victory for his team!

The shouting stopped as LaZor's music blasted over the arena, and The Men of Power looked on in shock. Lifeguard ran to the ring to celebrate with LaZor, while Franco rushed over to Sean and Fergus. Fergus was able to stand, though hurt, but Sean could not put any weight down. Franco looked upset, and along with Fergus, helped Sean to the back. LaZor and Lifeguard rocked out with some air guitars, then went backstage as well.

An upset James Calhoun stormed into the ring, The Behemoth now starting to get up and clear his head. Calhoun got in his face and started yelling at him.

James Calhoun: YOU! YOU let me down! YOU failed me! YOU are my companion wrestler, and you lose?! What is wrong with you? Can you do anything right?! You are a giant disappointment!

The Behemoth suddenly grabbed James Calhoun, who's eyes went wide. Fun Fight Machine tried to step in, but Rat held him back. The Behemoth suddenly picked up James Calhoun, and hit him with a Powerbomb Shoulderbreaker!

Edward Findleton: He's had enough! The Behemoth had enough of James Calhoun!

Fun Fight Machine went to check on Calhoun, while Rat moved next to The Behemoth. Fun Fight Machine looked up at them, asking them to help. The two turned their back, and left the ring to cheers from the crowd.

THE Casey Gains: ...I think we just witnessed the end of The Men of Power as we know them.

Jazz music started to play, and out came Kitty Kayleen with the HAW Women's Championship. A few seconds later, dressed in a white suit, was Mitchell Row. He grabbed Kitty's hand and twirled her, leaned her back, and gave her a kiss. The couple then went arm and arm to the ring.

Edward Findleton: Controversy with Mitchell Row these past few weeks, as he is front and center of the HAW Women's Division. It looks like they've got microphones, and I think they owe the world an explanation.

Mitchell Row smiled in the ring, looking smug.

Mitchell Row: I'm sure many of you are very, very confused. And...I think it's about time I'm honest. See, I was with Jessie for a few years. And I learned something about her. When it comes to wrestling...she just...doesn't have that killer instinct. She doesn't have the ability to take it another step. And wrestling is my livelihood. I need a partner I can trust. So yes, I was planning to break up with Jessie for quite some time. I just didn't know how to do it so....I asked someone.

Kitty Kayleen: Mitchell Row called me a couple months asking for help. And you know what? We bonded. After all, who can resist my charm? And that's when we came up with our little plan.

Mitchell Row: Kitty...she's a woman who knows what she wants. But at the same time, she's a dignified woman, she's high class, and she's better than every other woman in the back! She's someone I'm proud to call my fiance, and all of you better get used to calling her...the HAW Women's Champion!

They drop the mics, kissed, and headed to the back.

Edward Findleton: It's time for the HAW Battle Royal. It's going to be a 20 man match!

The following wrestlers came down to the ring: Danny Miller, Dalton Elkins, Drizzles the Clown, ElEspectro, Frederic St. Pierre, Glenny Pax, Hawaii, Jack Trailor, Little Man, Lovable Liam, Mimic, Oden Schreiner, Orville Morgan, Ruslan Panov, Sydney Mason, The Iconoclast, The Rainbow Jobber, and Viking.

THE Casey Gains: Edward, I've got a surprise! I'm in the battle royal!

Edward: You know what Casey? As the first HAW World Champion...I am too!

Edward and Casey also got into the ring, now filled with twenty competitors. As the match started, everyone looked at the two most notable non wrestlers, Orville Morgan and Edward Findleton. Orville was trash talking everyone, when Edward punched Orville in the head. Edward grabbed Orville Morgan and flung him over the rope. Before Edward could celebrate, THE Casey Gains picked Edward up and dumped him outside the ring. Casey pointed and laughed and Edward, but Mimic came behind Casey and threw him over as well! Casey and Edward sighed, then went back to commentary.

Edward Findleton: ...Let's stick to calling the match.

THE Casey Gains: I hate battle royals.

All the wrestlers were now fighting each other. Danny Miller eliminated The Rainbow Jobber, before being thrown over by Glenny Pax and Jack Trailor. Mimic tried to attack Viking, but The Iconoclast saved him and threw Mimic out. The Biofuel Engineers then took out Pax and Trailor, while Lovable Liam eliminated Little Man. With nearly all teams left, El Espectro and Ruslan Panov did a quick hand shake, and temporarily aligned, as they managed to take out The Strange Crew. The Towering Blights and The Biofuel Engineers then went after the Muscle Gang, with Viking taking out St. Pierre and Sydney Mason taking out Lovable Liam. Those two teams started to fight each other, and The Iconoclast eliminated Sydney, while Dalton eliminated Viking!

Edward Findleton: Five men remain! Dalton Elkins, El Espectro, Oden Schreiner, Ruslan Panov, and The Iconoclast!

Panov and Espectro started to attack Oden, while Dalton and The Iconoclast squared off. Dalton had the Iconoclast over the ropes, but he managed to hang on at the last second. Dalton thought he had eliminated him successfully and turned around to showboat, but The Iconoclast came back in, grabbed Dalton Elkins by the head, and threw him outside the ring.

Meanwhile, El Espectro and Ruslan continued to double team Schreiner, and had him on the ropes. As Ruslan tried to eliminated Schreiner, El Espectro suddenly attacked Panov! El Espectro started to push Ruslan over the ropes, but Ruslan held on, and with some struggles, pulled El Espectro over onto the apron. Both men were fighting on the apron, trading blows, when Oden Schreiner ran towards them and delivered a double clothesline to knock both men to the ground.

Schreiner turned, and came face to face with The Iconoclast.

THE Casey Gains: This rookie isn't going to find many people taller than him in HAW...except for right now.

The Iconoclast and Schreiner started to attack each other, delivering back and forth punches. The Iconoclast started to get the upper hand, and slammed Oden Schreiner to the mat, then whipped him into the corner. The Iconoclast went to the opposite side of the ring, looking ready to deliver his Cannonball Senton.

The Iconoclast ran towards Oden, who started to get up. As the Iconoclast flipped for the senton, Oden caught his legs and stood up. Using all his strength, Oden Schreiner managed to lift The Iconoclast up into a powerbomb position!

THE Casey Gains: Look at the strength!

Oden Schreiner ran towards the ropes, and Powerbomed The Iconoclast outside the ring! The bell rang, and Oden was the winner of the number one contender's battle royal!

Edward Findleton: And there we have it! Oden Schreiner will be going to next month's main event at Summit of Success! What a victory!

THE Casey Gains: I wish it was me but....well, good job Oden!

It was time for the main event, and Phoenix's music hit. About fifteen seconds passed before he came out, but finally he came to the stage, alone. Phoenix looked behind himself, seemingly expecting someone, but then just walked to the ring. A short while later, Douglas Brunswick came out, HAW World Championship in hand. As he got in the ring, he raised the title up, then handed it to referee Dennis Thompson. Both men were across the ring from each other, ready to fight. Before the bell could ring, Mayor Briggs suddenly appeared on the jumbotron, somewhere outside in the night. The shot was a close up of his face, but a tour bus could be seen behind him in the background.

Mayor Briggs: Evenin' mates! I'm sorry I couldn't be there in person to witness this match. I'm sure it's going to wow the audiences! It's just, I been a bit sentimental, you understand, nah? See, it's the cold weather, the dark nights, reminds me a bit of home back across the pond! So you know what? I wanted to share the experience! I wanted to give everyone a taste of home!

The camera zoomed out, to show Briggs holding a beaten and bloodied Sentinel by the collar. Briggs dragged Sentinel to the bus, then threw him forcefully into the luggage area and slammed it shut. Briggs walked up to the bus driver with some cash in hand.

Mayor Briggs: There you go mate. Just keep going west with it. I think that's where he lives. Got enough money for a couple of fuel stops along the way so enjoy. Anyway, good luck Phoenix!

The screen went black, and Phoenix was staring up the ramp in disbelief. He looked back at Brunswick, who put his hands up as if he had no idea what was going on. Phoenix turned back to the ramp and was yelling at it, when Brunswick put his hands down. He walked up behind Phoenix, and delivered a low blow!

Edward Findleton: Brunswick! Resorting to dirty tricks!

Brunswick tried to go for a roll up, but Dennis Thompson noted the bell didn't ring yet and forced Brunswick into his corner. Brunswick looked frustrated, but Thompson waited for Phoenix to get to his feet. Phoenix was in pain but stood up, and the bell rang. Brunswick ran towards Phoenix and tried to hit him with the Lifting Reverse DDT, but Phoenix struggled out of it. Brunswick changed tactics, and started simply striking at Phoenix.

Edward Findleton: And it looks like Brunswick has the upper hand to start off, thanks to that low blow!

Brunswick slowed down the pace of Phoenix, now with holds. Phoenix however started to regain power, and managed to start fighting back. Phoenix was able to gather enough momentum to knock down Douglas Brunswick. Phoenix climbed to the top rope to hit the Phoenix Splash, but Brunswick moved out of the way and Phoenix hit the ground hard. Brunswick took the opportunity to roll Phoenix up, but he kicked out at the last moment!

THE Casey Gains: Phoenix is not giving up!

Brunswick tried to hit the Lifting Reverse DDT, but as he lifted Phoenix up, Phoenix flipped over backwards and landed on his feet, then hit Brunswick with a spinning heel kick. Phoenix was hurt, but was starting to gain momentum and launched an offensive assault against Douglas Brunswick. Phoenix had Brunswick down, then went to the top rope for a Phoenix Splash, but Brunswick moved out of the way at the last second as Phoenix hit the mat hard.

Brunswick began his attack on Phoenix now, focusing on the midsection of Phoenix. Brunswick stood Phoenix up against the ropes, and went again for a Lifting Reverse DDT, but Phoenix used his feet to push off the ropes, and sent him and Brunswick to the mat. Phoenix started some desperation strikes on Brunswick, and climbed to the top rope again. This time, Douglas pulled on the ropes, and Phoenix fell onto the ropes, the turnbuckle hitting him between the legs.

Brunswick grabbed an injured Phoenix, and finally hit him with the Lifting Reverse DDT. Brunswick covered Phoenix, and picked up the win!

Edward Findleton: What a match! It was back and forth, but in the end, Brunswick successfully defends his HAW World Championship!

THE Casey Gains: Brunswick had that early advantage, and I think that's all he needed. Phoenix tried to fight back but just couldn't recover.

Referee Dennis Thompson handed the World Championship to Douglas Brunswick. Brunswick walked over to the ropes, and climbed to the second rope. He looked like he was about to hold it up for the crowd, but then shook his head and jumped down. Douglas Brunswick simply put it around his waist, left the ring, and started heading towards the ramp.

Edward Findleton: Thank you for joining us at Downtown Disaster! We'll see you next week for more HAW! Good night everybody!
