Dark Matches: Jack Trailor and Local Legend Danny Miller defeated The Master Bassers (Scott Fisher and Dale Waters), Moonlight defeated Adriana Gomez

The HAW Theme played, and after the intro, it opened up to Freezerman standing in the ring.

Freezerman: Good evening, Boston! Thank you for hosting us as HAW kicks off season 7! We had a great season last year, and we’re hoping to keep that momentum going! We have some new faces, some young rookies, some returning favorites, and best of all, great HAW action every week! We’re going to have a lot of action tonight, because there will be two number one contender’s matches! First is to see who will challenge the HAW Tag Team Champions, RJ Bu and Niko Green. That match, which will be next, will be the O’Toole Brothers vs Mitchell Row and Georgios Stanellis! And then tonight in our main event, we’ll find out who Mayor Briggs will defend his HAW National Championship against, as a four way match takes place with El Espectro, The United States, El Termitas II, and the Demon Lord, Lenin May! So be sure to stick around because-

Freezerman was cut off, as Franco Mancini’s music played. Franco sauntered down to the ring, looking annoyed.

Franco Mancini: You done yet? Because you’re going on and on and you haven’t gotten to me. Your five time HAW World Champion. This crowd, they don’t care about nobodies. They care about this piece of gold I have. And I hear a couple of them booing, and that’s ok. I’m ready to ruin some dreams, so quit stalling and tell me who I’m going to be facing.

Freezerman: Franco, I was getting to that. See, you mentioned you're a five time champion…but that honestly makes you a four time loser. Your opponent at HAW One Way Trip is someone you know well, the person who beat you for that title the first time, and making a long awaited return to HAW!

At that point, Fun Fight Machine’s music started up, and he walked down to the ring to a returning hero’s welcome. Franco showed no fear, nor did Fun Fight Machine, as the two men went face to face. Fun pointed at the title, indicating he wanted it, but Franco just laughed and shook his head, and finally exited the ring.

Edward Findleton: Well folks HAW has officially kicked off! Edward Findleton here, I’m with THE Casey Gains, and this looks to be a great title match!

THE Casey Gains: Both of these men have matured and changed so much since their last one on one title match. Fun has been away wrestling in Japan the past year, and Franco has been dominating HAW. That should be a good one!

Edward Findleton: I couldn’t agree more! And as Freezerman promised, our number one contender’s tag match is next!

The O’Toole Brothers, Sean and Fergus O’Toole, made their entrance, followed by Mitchell Row and Georgios Stanellis, who were accompanied by Scarred Badger and Kitty Kayleen. The O’Toole Brothers put up a good fight, but interference and distractions from Kitty and Badger gave Row and Stanellis the victory, when Georgios caused Sean to tap out with a Boston Crab in 8:26

Edward Findleton: And the Boston crowd must love that!

THE Casey Gains: What? Why?

Edward Findleton: A Boston Crab in Boston tonight! Poetic, right?

THE Casey Gains: I think that’s the last thing on their minds Edward. Stanellis and Row just cheated to a victory, but you know? I give props to them! They came prepared and ready to win!

Edward Findleton: So the Boston Crab thing wasn’t intentional?

THE Casey Gains: Let’s go backstage to Gregory Greystones next interview!

Gregory Greystone: Hello ladies and gentlemen! I’m here with the HAW Women’s Champion, Kherti Bhakta! Kherti, you main evented End of the Trail last year, and defeated Sekino for that title. How did that feel?

Kherti Bhakta: Honestly…it’s been bittersweet. I defeated her. I set a goal and I achieved it but, I still miss my good friend, Athena. It was strange coming to work today, and not seeing her in the locker room, it really set in that she’s retired, and that HAW is entering a new chapter.

Gregory Greystone: I can see where you’re coming from, but I assume you’ve heard the good news?

Kherti Bhakta: I have, and I’m sure the fans will love this too. Athena will be coming out next week to make a final, formal retirement speech. I plan to be there in the ring, but, I want to invite a guest to join me. And that guest is Penny Downs. Without her, I wouldn’t have defeated Sekino. She’s a great young wrestler, and I see a bit of myself in her. So Penny, if you’re watching, it would be an honor to have you stand by my side as we send off one of the greats!

Gregory Greystone: Thank you for your time Kherti!

Elsewhere in the arena, The Stable, Zoey Chambers, Hazel Glover, and Jenna Ingram were walking, discussing a plan.

Zoey Chambers: So we go up to them, and demand a title shot. We have our list of reasons. And if they still say no, we compliment them!

Jenna Ingram: We aren’t complimenting them! Summer Fun won’t be our friends!

As the group turned a corner into the parking bay, they saw a car with smoke coming out of its windows.

Hazel Glover: Oh my god! It’s on fire! Help!

Jenna rushed to the car and opened the door, dragging the driver out, then going to the otherside and getting the passenger out, with the occupants turning out to be Daisy Fields and Maple Blossom.

Daisy Fields: Dude…*cough* why?

Maple Blossom: Yeah officer, we weren’t even speeding.

Zoey Chambers: The car was on fire! Jenna saved you!

Daisy Fields: Oh no that’s just….I mean, oh yeah. Thanks.

Jenna Ingram: And you know what? You should repay us by putting your tag titles on the line against us!

Maple Blossom: Right on…that sounds chill.

Zoey Chambers: ….Really? You’re agreeing? Because we had a big list of reasons why we deserved this.

Daisy Fields: Nah, you girls are awesome. How about we defend against you next week?

Hazel Glover: Deal! We’re taking the deal! Let’s go before they change their minds!

Hazel ushered the rest of the Stable away, as Maple and and Daisy shrugged and got back into their car.

Edward Findleton: Well it looks like we’ve got ourselves a title match main event already planned for next week! But up next, it’s Douglas Brunswick vs Kenneth Cobb!

THE Casey Gains: Last season The Visitors managed to win a three way battle against Brunswick, Trailor, and Miller, I’m sure Brunswick is looking to get back against them!

Douglas Brunswick came out first, while Kenneth Cobb followed, as Cyberhemoth and Glenny Pax stood at the top of the ramp to watch.

Cobb, still seemingly under the control of Pax, tried to launch an aggressive attack against Brunswick, but Brunswick had answers, and eventually pinned The Insomniac in 7:42 after the Lifting Reverse DDT.

Brunswick had a quick celebration raising his arms in victory, but saw Pax had motioned backstage, a group of Visitors started running down the ramp. Brunswick saw he was massively outnumbered, and exited the ring before escaping into the crowd. The Visitors picked Cobb up and carried him to the back, as Pax gave one last look into the audience towards Brunswick.

Edward Findleton: Well it looks like Brunswick and Pax still might have some bad blood between the two! If, Pax has real blood. He might have alien blood, I’m not quite sure! Up next, unfortunately, is a…Pastor James segment…

THE Casey Gains: I still hate that guy.

Pastor James was smiling into the camera in a locker room as the scene switched.

Pastor James: Good evening brothers and sisters, it’s a glorious day once again, all thanks to the Lord! HAW is back! And to be quite honest, we receive the most donations when HAW is airing. It’s understandable, out of sight, out of mind. But you can make up for your forgetfulness by donating today. There should be a link right underneath my face on the screen about now. So go and visit, because-

Dixie Boyle: Hey Pa!

Pastor James: Don’t…don’t call me that.

Dixie Boyle: Pa-stor James! I think it sounds nice! Now say, did ya ever get them paternity test results back?

Pastor James: Oh, those. Unfortunately, the lab burnt down in a fire. It’s impossible for us to ever get those results, and you’re only allowed one test in your life. I’m sorry.

Dixie Boyle: Well that’s ok, because you’re still my father! And I was wondering if maybe I could get a room mate? I have a really good friend I’d like you to meet, she’s my friend from VCW! Ivy Clarke!

Entering the lockerroom was Ivy Clarke.

Ivy Clarke: Thanks Dixie. You know, I think I forgot my purse in the rental car, can you go get that for me?

Dixie nodded and left, while James sighed.

Pastor James: Nope, I already have one person leeching off of me, I’m not having two. Go back to whatever truckstop Dixie found you at…so that you can find peace with the Lord.

Ivy Clarke:  You must not know me very well, Calhoun. See, I don’t really need you. Maybe, you don’t need me. But what I do think…is you and I are a lot alike. Our brains work the same. I think together, we can practically control HAW. The money, the power..together, I think you and I would be unstoppable.

James seemed to be thinking hard, and smiled. Dixie ran back into the room with the purse at that point.

Pastor James: …Dixie, thank you. I think Ivy would be a great roommate for you. Let’s have her come to the shows every week…I think we’ll all benefit.

Back at ringside, Casey was seen throwing a brown paper bag under the announce table.

THE Casey Gains: Sorry, I almost hurled watching that. That couldn’t have cut away sooner.

Edward Findleton: Let’s never speak of it again as we head to our main event!

The HAW National Champion, Mayor Briggs, walked out first, and was with Bigg Pimpin’ Alex and oddly enough, two of the competitors, El Espectro and The United States. Briggs seemed to give them a pep talk, then took a seat near ringside.

Edward Findleton: Briggs has been paying those two for quite some time, this could be an interesting match four way match.

The other opponents, Demon Lord Lenin May and El Termitas II made their respective entrances.

THE Casey Gains: A huge match for a rookie in Lenin May, and El Termitas who’s been trying to solidify his place in HAW. A win tonight will do both of these guys some good!

As the match started, it almost worked like a tag match, with El Espectro and The USA teaming up, forcing an uneasy alliance between Termitas and May. When Termitas and May got the upperhand, Lenin May backstabbed Termitas with a low blow, but couldn’t get the cover. Espectro and USA were able to recover, and as USA fought May, El Espectro managed to deliver an Inverted Stomp Facebreaker to Termitas and pick up the win in 12:51.

As the bell rung, Briggs got up and celebrated. He rushed to the ring, and Briggs, Alex and USA both hugged El Espectro.

Edward Findleton: I’m not sure what Briggs has planned, but it looks like it’s coming true.

THE Casey Gains: His good friend is now the #1 contender for the National Championship. That seems like a solid plan on it’s own.

Edward Findleton: Well folks, we’re just about out of time, but thank you for joining us for HAW! We’ll see you next week, good night!
