Dark matches: Isabella Dawson defeated Crystal Cyclone, The Strange Crew (Drizzles the Clown/Hawaii) defeated The Jockey and the Thoroughbred (Enrique Mendoza/Diego Salazar), The MuscleGang (Crash MuscleGate, Lovable Liam, and Frederic St. Pierre) defeated Marc Sawyer, Tristan Parker, and Ian Saurez

HAW’s theme kicked off the show.

Edward Findleton: Welcome to HAW, One Way Trip in Columbus, Ohio! We’ve got a great show tonight, all the titles are the lines and more.

THE Casey Gains: It looks like we’re starting off with the Men’s Tag Team Championship match, Bu and Green vs Mitchell Row and Georgios Stanellis!

Row and Stanellis entered, accompanied by Kitty Kayleen and Scarred Badger. The champions of RJ Bu and Niko Green followed.

THE Casey Gains: Everyone wants to win a title match, but this is going to show a lot. Bu, Green, and Stanellis are all young, budding wrestlers. A win tonight really solidifies your career.

Edward Findleton: Especially if Georgios can do it without the help of Kitty and Badger!

THE Casey Gains: Of course he can!

The match was fairly even paced, with Bu and Green showing the better team work, but Mitchell’s experience helped guide himself and Stanellis, acting as a mentor and shouting advice. However, Stanellis found himself in trouble, but hit a desperation reversal on Green, both men taking a while to recover in the ring.

Green started to crawl towards Bu, but at that point, Kitty walked over and rubbed her hand up and down Bu’s leg and winked at him, and he smiled back. RJ Bu inadvertently turned his back to Green, as he casually leaned against the ropes trying to look cool. Referee Tom Hunter came over to get Kitty away, and Stanellis and Green were getting to their feet. At the same time, Scarred Badger slid in, and lined up Green for the Big Boot, but Green ducked and Badger hit Stanellis. Green threw Badger into Row and the two tumbled out of the ring, and quickly covered Georgios Stanellis and picked up the three count.

Edward Findleton: Bu and Green retain!

Kitty looked frustrated and left Bu, who was suddenly confused, but elated when Tom Hunter handed him the title belt. Green rolled his eyes, annoyed at his partner but ok with the result. Row and Kitty both went into the ring to check on Stanellis, with Row picking him up and carrying him out of the ring. As they passed Badger, Row glared at Badger and didn’t say a word, with Scarred Badger lagging behind to catch up to his allies.

Edward Findleton: Some dysfunction amongst all the teams but what a successful defense! Up next however, is a non title match, it’s Douglas Brunswick vs Glenny Pax!

Douglas Brunswick music played, and he walked down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans. Halfway down the ramp, Cyberhemoth came running from behind and attacked him. Cyberhemoth threw Brunswick into the ringside steps, against the ringpost, and onto the mat, as Glenny and Kenneth Cobb slowly walked down to the ring. Cyberhemoth threw Brunswick in the ring as Pax got it, and referee Brenda Moses reluctantly rang the bell.

THE Casey Gains: The attack from Cyberhemoth finally came, and Brunswick is starting off with a huge handicap!

Pax had the early edge, mostly dominating, but Brunswick managed to pull a reversal, launching Glenny Pax out of the ring into both Cyberhemoth and Cobb with a back body drop. Brunswick didn’t waste a moment of time, grabbing a camera and hitting Cobb with it, then Cyberhemoth repeatedly with the camera. Brunswick then threw the camera into the ring.

Edward Findleton: He can hit Cyberhemoth and Cobb with that but Brunswick better not hit Glenny, or that’s a DQ!

With Cyberhemoth and The Insomniac out, Douglas got Pax back into the ring. Douglas went to grab the camera, but the camera crew member was in the ring trying to retrieve it himself. Brenda Moses also went over to intervene, when the arena darkened, and only the interior of the ring was lit up with a large spotlight. Douglas looked confused, and realized Brenda Moses and the camera crew member were frozen in place, unresponsive and staring straight ahead.

Coming out from under the ring was a man, dressed similar to Glenny’s Visitor minions but with a more metallic suit and strange mask over his face. Brunswick had yet to see this man, who came from behind and attacked him. Brunswick was knocked down, and the attacker quickly locked in a Cattle Mutilation. Glenny started to stomp on Brunswicks other exposed body parts and he tapped out, but Brenda Moses remained frozen. The hold was finally released, and Glenny started to chuckle, before yelling at the top of his lungs.

Glenny Pax: Welcome…The Venator!

Pax picked Brunswick up and hit the Swinging Tornado DDT, and went for the cover. The arena lights came on, and Brenda and the camera crew returned to normal. Brenda rushed over and counted to three, and Glenny Pax stood victorious, as The Venator, Cyberhemoth, and Cobb flanked him.

Edward Findleton: What…just happened?

THE Casey Gains: Glenny Pax has found ANOTHER weapon in his Visitors, and this…Venator…looks like he can mean business!

Edward Findleton: Well while we get Brunswick some help to the back, we’re happy to announce that up next, is an extra triple threat match. At stake, a contract with HAW, and three potential free agents all looking to get in!

Coming out first of potential new HAW wrestlers, was Pit Viper.

THE Casey Gains: Pit Viper! I’ve always been a fan of his! I think he could be a welcome addition here!

The next competitor to come out was Vito DeFazio.

Edward Findleton: Look who it is! A day we never thought we would see, Vito DeFazio is wrestling in HAW!

THE Casey Gains: If it even looks like he’s coming close to winning, I might pull the ref out of the ring to stop the count.

The final competitor to come out was Harvey Allison.

Edward Findleton: And it’s Harvey Allison! The former VCW Champion, who quit VCW in protest after his loss a few weeks ago! An opportune time for him to show up!

The triple threat started, and Vito DeFazio took the brunt of most of the early attacks from both Pit Viper and Harvey Allison. Harvey and Pit Viper began to battle it out, but Harvey Allison managed to hit a Sit Out Jawbreaker on Pit Viper and pin him for the victory. Harvey quickly motioned for a microphone. He posed a bit for the camera, then smiled.

Harvey Allison: Take a look. If you don’t know who I am, then this is your introduction to Handsome Harvey Allison. You may all applaud me now, for being lucky enough to witness HAW history tonight, seeing the debut match of a future world champion!

The crowd began to boo, and Harvey Allison shook his head.

Harvey Allison: I said applaud! This is an honor, and you are looking at the freshest new face in HAW! Now CHEER!

Instead of cheers, new music started to play, and Harvey Allison looked up at the ramp. After a few moments, the jumbotron text flashed the words “Cole Arcane” and the crowd erupted, as Arcane stepped out on stage.

Edward Findleton: A former RFW Grand and Titan champion, and the biggest wrestler to ever hit free agency, Cole Arcane has arrived at HAW!

Arcane walked down the aisle, with Vito DeFazio in the middle on the ground. Arcane stepped on his chest and over him, approaching the ring still, before locking eyes with Pit Viper. Pit Viper lunged at Arcane who quickly clotheslined him and threw him to the barricade. Arcane finally entered the ring, and approached Harvey Allison.

Allison didn’t back down, and the two had an intense staredown. Harvey finally smirked, and pushed Cole Arcane away, and took a few steps to exit the ring. Arcane didn’t take too kindly to the shove, and grabbed Allison by the back and hit the Running Bulldog.

Edward Findleton: Handsome Harvey Allison’s fresh face just got planted into the mat by Cole Arcane!

The crowd erupted in cheers, as Cole Arcane started to make his way up back up the ramp. Right before Arcane made it to the back, Pastor James walked out on the stage with a microphone. Arcane stared down James, who quickly stepped back and put his hands up, moving out of the way and allowing Arcane to head to the back. With Arcane gone, Pastor James made his way down to the ring.

Pastor James: Brothers, Sisters, children! Tonight, we will see an exorcism take place in this ring. I will not be conducting it, but allow me to introduce the two women who will be: Dixie Boyle and Ivy Clarke!

Dixie and Ivy made their entrance, as James seemed to be the only one applauding. Their opponents, Witchmere and Bethany Watts followed.

Edward Findleton: Three young wrestlers in the ring, there’s a lot on the line for them, but so far No Nonsense Bethany Watts has had the upper hand!

The match started, and Watts and Witchmere seemed to be the better team, with experience of Witchmere and strength of Watts negating Dixie and Ivy. Ivy started to play dirty, which irritated Bethany, and referee Brenda Moses started struggling trying to bring about order to the two women who began brawling outside the ring.

Pastor James saw his moment, and went to the side of the ring where Witchmere was standing on the apron. James yanked her down, then hit Witchmere with the Cobra Clutch Slam on the floor outside.

Edward Findleton: Oh come on! What a joke!

As the crowd booed, Bethany noticed and rushed to the side of the ring and saw James standing over Witchmere. Pastor James smiled and shrugged, playing dumb. Bethany Watts approached Pastor James and without hesitation, kicked him right between the legs.

THE Casey Gains: She’s my new favorite wrestler! Do it again!

While James went down, Ivy and Dixie used that as an opportunity to attack Bethany, and start double teaming her. As they got Bethany Watts in the ring and wore her down, Ivy Clarke hit a Hammerlock Suplex, and pinned Bethany Watts in 7:31.

Edward Findleton: It looked like Witchmere and Bethany had this in the bag…until Pastor James interfered. What a shock.

THE Casey Gains: I’m still proud of that team, despite taking the loss. Anyone listening, I encourage you to do this to Pastor James every week!

Edward Findleton: Switching gears, we’ve got a championship match coming up next, it’s Mayor Briggs defending against El Espectro

El Espectro came out first, with King Donovan by his side. The National Champion Mayor Briggs was second, with The United States and Bigg Pimpin’ Alex.

As the match started, Briggs seemed off his game, focusing more on King Donovan and allowing El Espectro to get some offense in. Mayor Briggs eventually had enough and exited the ring, then moved to a corner of the barricade, where Alex and The United States stood in front of him. Referee Tom Hunter began a ten count.

Edward Findleton: And Briggs appears to have given up! He’s going to take the count out loss to retain the title!

THE Casey Gains: And El Espectro has to be careful, he can try and grab him but Tom Hunter could call a DQ on Alex or The United States if he thinks there’s too much aggressive contact going on by them.

El Espectro looked out at ringside to Donovan and nodded. Donovan started walking with a purpose towards The United States and Bigg Pimpin’ Alex, and blasted The United States with a clothesline. Donovan then focused on Alex.

Edward Findleton: He’s been wanting revenge for a while!

Donovan started attacking Alex, beating him down. King Donovan grabbed Alex, and delivered a Full Nelson Slam to the big man outside the ring. El Espectro gave a thumbs up to Donovan, who raised his hands in triumph. The United States started to recover and the victory was short lived as the two noncompetitors started to brawl. With all of this going on, Mayor Briggs snuck to the opposite side of the ring, rolled in, and grabbed El Espectro in a school boy pin. Espectro was surprised and couldn’t get kick out, and Mayor Briggs retained in 9:12.

THE Casey Gains: Briggs wins fair and square! A perfectly legal school boy!

Edward Findleton: I wouldn’t say fair and square but…El Espectro looks very disappointed in himself. Either way, Mayor Briggs sneaks out a win and retains the HAW National Championship! As we get ready for our next match, it’s going to be some more wild action, because it’s the Women’s Tag Team Championship match! Casey, can you explain how this works?

THE Casey Gains: Yeah. So Paisley Alden can’t take the title. If she pins Summer Fun, they retain, and Paisley Alden is not a champion. Then, if The Stable wins…and this is what they agreed to…the one who achieves the victory is tag champion, and the first one to hug her is the other champion.

Edward Findleton: Sounds like a good set of rules.

THE Casey Gains: I’m not sure how you’re saying that with a straight face, but whatever.

The Stable entered first, Zoey Chambers, Jenna Ingram, and Hazel Glover. Following the Stable was the Tag champions, Summer Fun, Daisy Fields and Maple Blossom, along with Paisley Alden.

Both teams gave it their all, with several near falls. Zoey thought she helped Jenna get the upper hand when she tossed out Maple, but Maple landed on her feet outside the ring. Zoey responded with a suicide dive outside onto Maple. As the two women recovered, Daisy jumped from the top rope and did a crossbody to both Zoey and Maple. At that point, Jenna picked up Hazel Glover, and lifted her over her head, who kept pleading to be put down, but Jenna launched her teammate like a dart outside the ring at Zoey, Maple, and Daisy. Paisley tried to attack Jenna, but Jenna reversed and got Paisley Alden down in the middle of the ring and applied a Lotus Lock. With no help in sight, Paisley tapped out.

Edward Findleton: And we have new tag team champions! It’s The Stable! Jenna Ingram and…and uhhh…one of her two teammates who are down outside the ring!

Jenna took both titles and held them up, before quickly exiting the ring. Hazel happened to be the closest wrestler to her and she helped to her feet, and referee Tom Hunter quickly raised Hazel’s hand.

Edward Findleton: Jenna and Hazel are the new champions!

THE Casey Gains: Great effort by all the teams involved, including Paisley Alden! But I don’t know anyone who would last that long in a submission without a single lifeline.

Edward Findleton: As one woman’s match concludes, another begins! It’s time for the HAW Women’s Championship!

Penny “The Hammer” Downs made her entrance, and was followed by the champ, Kherti Bhakta. The match started, and both competitors fought fiercely, Penny showing she wasn’t afraid of Kherti, and Kherti proving why she was HAW Women’s Champion.

Kherti tried to deliver a Straight Jacket German Suplex multiple times but Penny fought out, and likewise, Penny couldn’t hit her Single Underhook Facebuster. As the action spilled out of the ring, Penny finally got her chance, and hit the Single Underhook Facebuster onto the ground. She struggled to get Kherti to her feet, and got her onto the apron. As Penny got on the apron herself, Kherti had a burst of adrenaline and grabbed Penny, and hit the Straight Jacket German Suplex from the ring apron to the outside of the ring. Both women were down, and referee Brenda Moses began a ten count.

Edward Findleton: Both were trying to hit their respective moves all match…and they both do it in the worst place, outside the ring!

THE Casey Gains: And neither woman is moving, as we’re getting closer to ten here!

Penny and Kherti were both motionless. Brenda Moses got up to 9, and still no movement. She hit 10, and called for the belt.

Ring Announcer Bradley Wallace: Due to a double count out, this match has been declared a draw!

Edward Findleton: Well the fans aren’t too happy here but both of these women are spent.

THE Casey Gains: I’m sure Kherti would like a victory, but she walks away the champion and she can be proud of her effort. Penny on the other hand, once she realizes what happens, she’s gonna be kicking herself.

Edward Findleton: And it looks like the medical crew is getting them to their feet and helping them up!

A hurting Kherti gave a thumbs up to the crowd before heading to the back, while Penny struggled to her feet and pushed away help from medical, frustrated.

Edward Findleton: Well the ring has been cleared, and it’s time for the main event. Franco Mancini vs Fun Fight Machine!

Fun Fight Machine entered the ring, determined and serious, and Franco Mancini followed, just as ready as Fun. The match consisted of great wrestling from both, as Fun had a few close chances at victory. Franco started to regain control but as Franco was unable to put Fun away, became more and more frustrated. The violence and methodical attacks grew, and Franco and Fun ended up outside the ring. Fun Fight Machine caught Franco by surprise, and hit him with a few jabs as Franco fell onto the announcer’s table. Fun seemed suddenly fueled with energy, and jumped on the table, putting Franco’s head between his legs

Edward Findleton: Wait a minute….this is how Franco defeated Fun Fight Machine to get his title back years ago…but it's the opposite!

Fun Fight Machine grabbed Franco Mancini and delivered a piledriver through the table.

Edward Findleton: And Franco has gone through the table! The Champion is in trouble!

THE Casey Gains: But Fun needs him back in the ring to get the pinfall victory! He has to act fast!

Fun Fight Machine tried to drag the dead weight of Franco Mancini into the ring, pushing him to the center. Fun Fight Machine then climbed to the top rope.

Edward Findleton: He’s going all out! It’s time for the 450 Splash!

Fun Fight Machine jumped for the 450 Splash, but as he came down, Franco put his hand up and Whacked him with a Throat Thrust. Fun Fight Machine stumbled, and Franco rolled up him. Referee Dennis Thompson got down and started to count, and Fun Fight Machine appeared to kick out at the last second, but Thompson’s hand hit the mat and he called for the bell.

Edward Findleton: Wait a minute! Did he win?!

THE Casey Gains: Franco retains! They’re signaling Franco retains!

Edward Findleton: I think Fun’s shoulders were up!

THE Casey Gains: It doesn’t matter! It didn’t matter when Fun beat Franco the same way years ago, and it doesn’t matter now, Franco Mancini is still the champion!

Fun Fight Machine sat in the ring, looking disappointed, while Franco held the title up. He seemed to gloat as he passed by Fun Fight Machine. Franco held the title once more, proud of his victory, when his music cut out. In it’s place began Peter “Carnage” Horn’s theme.

Edward Findleton: Whoa! Hold on!

Peter “Carnage” Horn walked out onto the ramp, with Alfred Karneus beside him. Peter stared down the ring towards Franco, who stared right back. Karneus pointed to Franco, then to the Book of Carnage.

Edward Findleton: Franco’s celebration might have been short lived! He might have a new challenger already!

THE Casey Gains: A man who has the longest undefeated streak in HAW History just entered the title picture.

Edward Findleton: We’re going to have to see where this goes next week. Thank you for tuning into HAW One Way Trip. Goodnight!
