Niko Green wins by last eliminating Reid Harrison.

Ten Person Women’s Battle Royal: Crystal Cyclone, Rachel, Daisy Fields, Maple Blossom, Athena, Penny “The Hammer” Downs, Mary Jane Elder, Hannah Rivers, Kitty Kayleen, and Witchmere. Athena wins by last eliminating Witchmere.
The HAW theme kicked the season finale off, the crowd roaring.
Edward Findleton: Welcome to HAW, End of the Trail, coming to you from Los Angeles, California!
THE Casey Gains: It all comes down to this! We have so many titles on the line, Sekino The Stunt Pilot vs Kherti Bhakta for the HAW Women’s Championship, Pastor James defending the National Championship against El Termitas II, Jet Black, and Kyle Higgins, the Women’s Tag Championship as The Exotic Delights, with The Biofuel Engineers, challenge the Strange Crew, and of course, the World Championship, Phoenix, Mitchell Row, and Glenny Pax!
Edward Findleton: And not just championship matches, we have grudge matches as The O’Tooles take on Ruslan Panov and The Insomniac, Kenneth Cobb, and Peter “Carnage” Horn facing Fun Fight Machine to see who can end 2022 undefeated. But our first match goes back to last year’s End of the Trail show…It’s the Brunswick Bros, Douglas Brunswick, Mayor Briggs, El Espectro, and The United States, taking on The MuscleGang, Crash MuscleGate, Oden Schreiner, Frederic St. Pierre, and Lovable Liam in an elimination tag match! I hope you’re ready, because it’s starting now!
MuscleGang vs Brunswick Bros
The MuscleGang music hit, and out came the members to a cheer from the crowd. While normally energetic and upbeat, the group looked more focused. Shortly after Brunswick’s music played, and he came out with his allies, all having a smirk and looking confident. As they got to the ring, Brunswick took a chair and sat in his team’s corner, as they coached him and got him fired up.
On the opposite side of the ring, Crash entered, and Brunswick stood up and gave a defiant roar. The two went face to face until referee Dennis Thompson separated them, and then rang the bell.
Brunswick immediately ran to the corner and tagged in The United States. The United States entered, picked up the chair, and smashed Crash across the face, cutting his forehead open. Dennis Thompson looked surprised and called for the bell, and started motioning for The United States to leave the ring. The United States quickly ran out to head up the ramp, and Mayor Briggs hurried in and covered Crash. Thompson got down, and counted to three, the bell ringing again.
Bradley Wallace: The United States has been eliminated via Disqualification, and Crash MuscleGate has been eliminated via pinfall!
At that, the Brunswick Bros started celebrating. Brunswick ran up the ramp to give the United States a hug, while Briggs high fived El Espectro.
Edward Findleton: They’re celebrating like they won the entire match!
THE Casey Gains: They got a former World Champion out and it’s a 3 on 3, I think their odds improved!
Mayor Briggs was still celebrating, as Oden Schreiner entered the ring, patiently waiting. When Briggs finally turned around, Schreiner grabbed him by the throat, preparing for a chokeslam. El Espectro saw the danger and rushed in to save Briggs, but with Oden’s off hand, also got ahold of El Espectro. Showing great strength, Oden Schreiner delivered a double Chokeslam to Mayor Briggs and El Espectro. He quickly covered Briggs getting a three count, then rolled onto El Espectro, picking up another elimination.
Bradley Wallace: Mayor Briggs and El Espectro have been eliminated!
Douglas had been up the ramp, and looked completely shocked at what had transpired. He looked at the United States, who simply shrugged and ran to the back. Slowly Douglas Brunswick made his back down to the ring.
Edward Findleton: What did you say about the odds improving? It’s a three on one now!
Douglas got into the ring, and started to pace back and forth, eyeing Oden up. He tried to grapple Oden, but Oden overpowered Brunswick, shoving him to the ground. Brunswick stood up, and with a look of determination, quickly approached Oden. Oden tried to grapple but Brunswick dodged, kicking Oden in the midsection. Brunswick continued with kicks and punches, slowing Oden down enough that he retreated and tagged in Liam.
A fresh Lovable Liam entered the ring, Brunswick quickly prevented Liam from getting offense in, hitting a drop toe hold and applying a headlock. Liam was wearing down but a few elbows caused Brunswick to break the hold. Brunswick grabbed Liam for an Irish whip, but Liam reversed and clotheslined Douglas. After a few quick stomps, Liam tagged back into Oden.
Oden wasted no time, as he picked Douglas Brunswick up and showed off his strength with a hanging vertical suplex. Oden continued to use high slams that let gravity do the damage, causing Douglas more and more pain each time. Oden then gave a nod to Liam and St. Pierre, and got Brunswick in position for the powerbomb. Once there, he lifted Brunswick up, then started to head towards the ropes.
Edward Findleton: Oden is pulling out all stops, the powerbomb outside the ring!
As Oden tried to throw Douglas, Douglas held onto Oden’s head. Oden struggled, but Brunswick now had his legs locked around Oden’s neck. Oden seemed to grow weaker and fell down to one knee, before standing back up. He tried for a normal powerbomb in the ring, but Brunswick escaped his grasp, and slid behind him. Back to back, Brunswick grabbed Oden’s arms and locked in a backslide pin. Oden tried to kick out, but Thompson counted to three.
Bradley Wallace: Oden Schreiner has been eliminated!
Liam wasted no time and jumped into the ring. As Brunswick stood up, Liam got behind him and locked in an abdominal stretch, before lifting him up and hitting a backbreaker. Liam went for a cover but Brunswick kicked out, however, Brunswick quickly rolled Liam up, but was unable to secure the pin. Liam and Brunswick stood up at the same time, and Brunswick whipped Liam to the ropes, while he took off running himself. Liam leapfrogged over Brunswick at first, then tried to arm drag Brunswick on his return, but Brunswick landed on his feet. Brunswick then jumped up and hit a dropkick to Liam, knocking him down.
THE Casey Gains: Crash’s move!
Brunswick collapsed onto Liam and hooked the leg as Dennis Thompson began to count, but Liam kicked out at the last moment, leaving Brunswick in shock. Hurt, both men again slowly got up, and began to trade punches, one to Brunswick, one to Liam, to Brunswick, to Liam. Lovable Liam went for a big haymaker, but Douglas ducked, got behind Liam, and hit the Lifting Reverse DDT. He covered Liam, and got the three count.
Bradley Wallace: Lovable Liam has been eliminated!
Brunswick was absolutely exhausted, then turned to the opposing corner, as Frederic St. Pierre entered the ring.
Edward Findleton: It’s down to one on one, but this is Brunswick’s biggest challenge! The fresh Frederic St. Pierre!
St. Pierre allowed Brunswick to stand up and regain his footing. Brunswick tried to approach and grapple, but St. Pierre got the better of the encounter and was able to apply a wrist lock. St. Pierre started to wear Brunswick with holds followed by strikes, seeping the energy away. After another simple body slam, Brunswick looked completely out of it. St. Pierre took a moment to assess the situation, then grabbed Douglas Brunswick, putting his head under his arm to deliver the Butterfly DDT. Brunswick however, managed to struggle, and with his head still tucked under the arm, charged the corner, slamming St. Pierre’s back into the turnbuckle.
St. Pierre was stunned, and Brunswick continued to use shoulder thrusts into Frederic’s mid section. Brunswick then climbed up to the middle rope, punching St. Pierre. The offensive flurry continued until St. Pierre blocked a bunch, then grabbed Brunswick’s legs, lifting him up for a powerbomb. Brunswick began to counter the same way as with Oden, struggling out and landing back to back with St. Pierre. Brunswick tried a second back slide pin, tipping Frederic over, but Frederic rolled through to land on his feet. With Brunswick down, St. Pierre tried to kick him in the face, but Brunswick caught the kick, and held on, beginning to stand up. St. Pierre hopped, and went for a spinning heel kick, but Brunswick ducked. St. Pierre went slightly off balance, and Brunswick quickly went for the head, tucking St. Pierre in and quickly hitting the Lifting Reverse DDT. Completely spent, Brunswick planted himself onto St. Pierre’s body.
Edward Findleton: The cover! 1…2….3!
As the bell rang and Douglas Brunswick’s music played, he rolled off St. Pierre, completely spent.
THE Casey Gains: Unbelievable! He did it! The three on one odds, and Douglas Brunswick defeats the MuscleGang!
With the help of Dennis Thompson, Brunswick ever so slowly got to his feet and raised his hands up in victory, before leaning against the ropes to catch his breath. At that point, Crash MuscleGate started making his way down to the ring, stitches going across his forehead.
Edward Findleton: And Crash can’t be happy about what happened tonight!
Brunswick continued leaning on the ropes, recovering, until he turned around, coming face to face with Crash. The two men stared briefly, until Crash slowly extended his hand. Douglas Brunswick looked down at, then back up to Crash, and accepted the handshake, a tense affair before Crash broke it, and started heading to the back with St. Pierre.
THE Casey Gains: No extra hug, no real love in that handshake…but it looks like one of respect.
Brunswick got on the ropes to celebrate one last time, before also making his way to the back.
Edward Findleton: That respect was earned tonight by Douglas Brunswick, what a gutsy performance! And we’re going to see more gutsy performances next, as it’s the Women’s Championship match!
Kherti Bhakta made her entrance first, taking deep breaths and trying to calm herself. Sekino the Stunt Pilot came down next, dragging the Women’s Title along the ground as she approached the ring, smiling with anticipation.
Brenda Moses rang the bell, and Kherti did some final stretches on the ropes. However, Sekino was ready and charged Kherti with a flying knee, which Kherti dodged at the last second. With Sekino falling, Kherti started stomping The Stunt Pilot, refusing to let her get up. Seeing Sekino on the ground, Kherti began to climb to the middle ropes, but as she turned, Sekino got up and attempted a hurricanrana. Kherti kept her balance and stopped it, and threw Sekino’s legs from her neck and Sekino hitting the mat hard. Kherti then jumped from the middle rope attempting an elbow, but Sekino dodged.
As Kherti grabbed her arm in pain, both women tried to recover by going to the ropes. Sekino got up first, while Kherti was on her knees and resting with her head and arms on the middle rope. Not wasting a moment, Sekino climbed to the top rope, and hit a leg drop on Kherti’s head, Sekino landing on the ring apron, Kherti’s neck being crushed into the ropes.
Edward Findleton: The Stunt Pilot with a risky attack, but it seems to have paid off! Kherti is looking like she’s having trouble breathing!
Sekino rolled into the ring limping and tried to attack, but referee Brenda Moses held her up, as she was still checking on Kherti. She held her neck and throat, taking deep breaths with the occasional cough, but nodded and gave a thumbs up.
As Bhakta got to her feet, Moses stepped away, and Sekino wasted no time with a running clothesline. As Kherti fell, The Stunt Pilot began to deliver a series of leg drops to the neck of the challenger.
THE Casey Gains: Sekino is like a predator, literally going for the throat of her opponent.
Sekino smiled, looking at Kherti, then the top rope. She leisurely climbed to the top rope, now confident in the match’s outcome. She jumped off, hitting another leg drop to the neck of Kherti Bhakta. Sekino hooked the leg and grinned, but Kherti kicked out at the last moment, leaving The Stunt Pilot shocked.
Edward Findleton: How did she kick out?!
Sekino was enraged the match was still going on, and began to simply choke Kherti. Brenda Moses warned her about a DQ, and began to deliver a count. At the last moment, Kherti reached up and raked Sekino across the eye, causing her to let go and recoil away as she covered her face.
This opportunity gave Kherti a chance to catch her breath as Sekino still held her eye. As she finally pulled her hand away from her face, blood was trickling from her eyes. As Sekino turned around to Kherti, she had already gotten to her feet, and hit The Stunt Pilot with a quick fisherman’s suplex. Kherti didn’t let go, hitting a fisherman’s suplex again, and again, and again. On the fifth time, she transitioned into a pinfall attempt, but Sekino kicked out.
Kherti didn’t waste anytime, picking Sekino up and whipping her to the ropes, but Sekino grabbed the ropes to stop. Kherti ran towards Sekino and clotheslined her, sending both women over the top rope, but landing on the ring apron. They each began to trade blows, punch after punch and nearly falling, until Sekino jumped to the middle rope, and managed to grab Kherti to deliver a springboard bulldog outside the ring.
THE Casey Gains: This is out of control. These two will definitely need medical after this match!
Kherti looked out of it, and even Sekino was showing signs of distress, as she gingerly made her back to the ring. Brenda Moses began to count to ten.
Edward Findkleton: This could be it!
Kherti began to move around the count of five, crawling up the steel steps. At this, Sekino looked at the top rope, and began to laugh, climbing up the turnbuckle right above Kherti Bhakta.
THE Casey Gains: What on earth is she doing?
Kherti was now on the top step, reaching for the ring to bring herself enough strength to get in as the count reached nine. At that moment, The Stunt Pilot lept, hitting the Moonstomp to the upper back of Kherti Bhakta, driving her into the steps.
Kherti immediately fell off the steps, clutching her chest and gasping for air. Brenda Moses rushed out of the ring and checked on her, then quickly signaled for the bell and for doctors.
The HAW medics quickly attended to Kherti, getting her on a stretcher and wheeling her away. Sekino seemed to have no concern for this at all, as she took the Women’s Championship and held it up in triumph, the crowd booing her. With a laugh, she headed to the back.
Edward Findleton: Sekino wins tonight, she retains her title through a referee stoppage but…I have to say, not very sportsman like, and that shouldn’t be how a champion carries themselves.
THE Casey Gains: I do side with you on this Edward, but…Sekino seems proud of her actions tonight. And I’m guessing she doesn’t care what you think, what I think, or what the fans think. She’s walked away as the HAW Women’s Champion.
Edward Findleton: We’ll keep you updated on Kherti Bhakta’s condition as we hear more but…we have another match upcoming, that could turn just as violent, next!
The O’Toole’s music hit, and out came Sean and Fergus, flanked by Franco Mancini and the NRWL Title. Shortly after The Bean’s music played, as he came out with The Insomniac Kenneth Cobb and Ruslan Panov.
Ruslan and Sean started the match off, as Franco and The Bean stayed outside the ring on their respective corners. Ruslan gave some quick kicks to Sean, forcing him to the corner, but Sean pushed Ruslan away. Both men traded insults and got forehead to forehead, jawing at each other, until Sean slapped Panov. Sean quickly whipped Panov to the ropes, and Fergus pulled the top rope down, causing Panov to fall outside the ring.
As Panov recovered, he pulled Fergus’ feet and shoved his head into the ring post. Franco Mancini started yelling to Ruslan, but Bean rushed around, making sure Franco wouldn’t get involved further. This still allowed Sean to suicide dive out of the ring to Ruslan Panov, and both men started brawling around the perimeter of the ring.
As they finally made their way back in, both made tags, with Fergus and Cobb being the new legal men. As the two competitors approached, Fergus went to slap Cobb as well, but the Insomniac caught it, and hit an uppercut to Fergus. Cobb started to manhandle Fergus O’Toole, slamming him to the ground and then dragging him to the corner next to Panov, where he proceeded to stomp him.
Cobb tagged back into Panov, and as Fergus crawled away towards Sean, Panov stopped him with some kicks to the ribs. Panov helped Fergus to his feet, and whipped him towards the ropes, but Fergus slid outside the ring, then behind Franco Mancini, who backed into a corner, preventing anyone from getting to Fergus.
Edward Findleton: And a cowardly move by Fergus!
THE Casey Gains: Great strategy by Fergus!
As Tom Hunter started counting, Fergus took the entire time, waiting until 9 to slide into the ring and tagging in Sean.
Sean came out fast, immediately hitting a swinging neckbreaker to Panov. As he stood up, he immediately delivered a Superkick to Kenneth Cobb. Panov tried to fight back with a few punches, but O’Toole hit a knee to Panov in the gut, then threw him shoulderfirst into the O’Toole turnbuckle. As Panov was on the ground, Sean walked to the center of the ring, talking to referee Tom Hunter. Fergus took this opportunity to jump off the apron, pull Ruslan’s head out so it was slightly exposed, and hit a Superkick of his own against Panov.
Fergus then grabbed Panov and lifted him onto his shoulders. Sean nodded, then gathered speed. He jumped to the top rope, and went for a springboard clothesline to Panov. At the last moment, Panov escaped from Fergus’s grasp, and Sean crashed down to the floor, missing his target.
Panov used that moment to scramble into the ring, quickly tagging in Cobb. Cobb ran outside the ring, first delivering a clothesline to Sean, then to Fergus, and finally, a clothesline to Franco Mancini.
Edward Findleton: And the crowd is going wild, they loved that!
Sean had crawled into the ring at this point, trying to use the ropes to steady himself. The Insomniac entered back into the ring, waiting for Sean to get steady. As Sean finally got to his feet, Cobb locked in the Sleeper Hold. Fergus tried to run in to stop him, but Panov hit a back kick to stop him. Sean O’Toole looked out of it, and as Tom Hunter checked on him, he called for the bell.
Edward Findleton: And Cobb wins with the Sleeper Hold!
As Cobb celebrated, Panov and the Bean joined him in the ring. Cobb and Panov gave each other a hug, and Panov got on the ropes, blowing a kiss out to the crowd and looking thankful. As he jumped down, he gave a quick hug to The Bean as well. The Bean then stood between Cobb and Panov and raised their hands up, the crowd cheering.
Edward Findleton: What a sight to see! Panov, Cobb, and Bean are triumphant at End of the Trail! The crowd loves it…wait a minute!
The O’Tooles and Franco slid in the ring, behind the victors. Cobb and Panov turned around first, and Sean and Fergus each delivered a Superkick to them. Hearing this, The Bean quickly turned around, and Franco charged him, blasting him in the head with the NRWL Championship. Franco then put a single foot on The Bean’s chest, and held the title up. As Franco held the pose for a few moments, he looked back down at The Bean, and spit in his face. With that, Franco and the O’Tooles left the ring, as ringside personnel helped Panov, Cobb, and Bean.
THE Casey Gains: Cobb and Panov won the match today. But in the war between Franco Mancini and the Bean, I really think Franco came out on top. There will be the final battle between these two, at the NRWL Reunion show, with that NRWL title on the line!
Edward Findleton: We’re proud to have been working together with NRWL this year, and in the wrestling business today, there’s a lot of companies, and a lot of talent. You may have heard some rumors of recent signings to HAW…and guess what? The rumors are true, and we’re about to hear from the newest members of the HAW Roster!
As the camera pointed to the stage, a few seconds went by in silence. Suddenly, new music started to play, and after a few moments, the jumbotron displayed the text “The Navigators.” The arena erupted, and a few seconds later, Aiden North and Pete Arrow came out to a roaring ovation from the crowd.
Edward Findleton: There they are! One of the best tag teams in the entire world! Aiden North! Pete Arrow! The Navigators are in HAW!
As they made their way to the ring, slapping hands with fans and posing, they grabbed some microphones.
Aiden North: It is amazing to be here in HAW!
The crowd immediately cheered.
Aiden North: There’s a lot of action tonight, this is the biggest show of the year, so we don’t want to waste too much of your time. But!
Pete Arrow: We’ve come out to announce the main event…of the first show of HAW Season 6! Fans across the world will watch The Navigators…challenge Jack Trailor and Danny Miller for the HAW Tag Team Championship!
The crowd cheered, and the Navigators clapped.
Pete Arrow: We’re going to enjoy the rest of End of the Trail, just like all of you, but it was great to hear that ovation!
Aiden North: We’ll see you next season!
Another ovation for The Navigators, as they made their way back.
THE Casey Gains: A title match for The Navigators right out of the gate! If there’s one team that deserves it, it’s them!
Edward Findleton: We’ve got a lot to look forward to for next year, but we still have some great matches tonight, as up next is Fun Fight Machine and Peter “Carnage” Horn!
Fun Fight Machine made his entrance first, 100% focused, while Peter “Carnage” Horn and Alfred Karneus came out next. Dennis Thompson called for the bell and the match was on.
The match started off with both men doing some basic grappling, first a headlock by Horn, then a headlock by Fun. Peter started to fight out, and went for a suplex but Fun wiggled out of his Peter’s grasp and rolled him up for a pin, with Peter kicking out quickly. As Horn stood up, Fun converted into a crucifix pin, but Horn kicked out again. Peter stood up but this time Fun Fight Machine delivered a jumping knee strike, going for the cover but Horn kicked out at 2.
Edward Findleton: Fun Fight Machine going for the pins early on!
Fun Fight Machine ran towards Horn, but Horn countered with an elbow to Fun’s jaw, then proceeded to walk to the corner and throw his head into the turnbuckle. Before Horn could muster any more offense, Fun Fight Machine started throwing punches, forcing Horn back on the defense.
Edward Findleton: This is the most trouble Horn has faced this year!
Fun’s offense then stalled when Horn hit a quick knee to the stomach of Fun, then picked Fun Fight Machine up with a gut buster. Horn went for the cover but Fu kicked out, then filled out of the ring. Horn followed as Alfred Karneus encouraged him, and Horn whipped Fun Fight Machine into the ring post, then threw him back in the ring.
Horn started to look confident, and climbed up to the middle rope.
THE Casey Gains: Aerial moves by Horn? This is the first we’ve seen of this!
Peter jumped off, but Fun put a foot up that hit Peter’s head. Fun tried for a school boy pin but Peter kicked out again, and both men got to their feet, Fun Fight Machine running at Peter “Carnage” Horn first with a clothesline, then another, and another, knocking him down each time. With Horn finally staying down, Fun Fight Machine hit an elbow drop, then another pin attempt, but Horn kicked out at the very last second.
Edward Findlteton: Alfred Karneus isn’t believing what he’s seeing!
Fun Fight Machine then walked outside the ropes to the apron, and waited for Horn to make his way to his feet. When he finally stood up, Fun Fight Machine went for a springboard clothesline, but Horn caught him. He quickly repositioned him and hit the Side Sitout Powerslam.
THE Casey Gains: There it is, Chapter 11 in the Book of Carnage!
Peter Horn, still in pain, crawled to Fun Fight Machine and hooked the leg.
Edward Findleton: One, two, thre-No! He kicks out!
Karneus and Horn both looked completely in shock. Horn tried another pin, but Fun kicked out again. Peter stood up and went to Alfred Karneus, who was now trying to talk strategy and reassure him.
THE Casey Gains: Valuable time is being wasted right here Edward! He needs to be on him!
Horn finally seemed to have a plan, and as he turned around, Fun had gotten up, and hit a running cutter to Horn. Fun Fight Machine climbed the top rope, and connected with the 450 Splash. Fun clutched his ribs for a moment before covering Peter, with Dennis Thompson counting one, two, and then stopped, as Horn had put his foot on the nearby rope.
Fun now looked frustrated, and started to guide Horn to his feet. Fun Fight Machine ran the ropes and went towards Horn, but Horn countered into a massive spinebuster. Both men were now out on the ground, hurt from the battle. Dennis Thompson started a ten count, but around six they started to regain their energy. Fun began to climb the ropes, but Horn rushed over and grabbed him. He repositioned Fun Fight Machine and hit a second Side Sitout Powerslam.
Horn hooked the leg, and Dennis Thompson counted one, two, three.
Edward Findleton: And there it is! Chapter 11 in the Book of Carnage!
Alfred Karneus rolled into the ring and hastily wrote in the book, but looked worried at how close the match had been. As Peter “Carnage” Horn began to recover, Alfred Karneus raised his hand in the air.
THE Casey Gains: I will say this Edward, at the end of the day, both men had a great 2022, but only one could remain undefeated…and that was Peter “Carnage” Horn!
Edward Findleton: What a match! Well folks, we hope you’ve enjoyed the show so far, and we have another great match coming up next, but we have an update on Kherti Bhakta!
THE Casey Gains: That’s right Edward. Kherti Bhakta has a collapsed lung, and is at a local medical facility. This is not considered career threatening, and those around her were saying she’s already been asking when she could be back in the ring.
Edward Findleton: Take your time recovering Kherti, HAW will be here! But meanwhile, we have a huge fourway match up next for the HAW National Championship!
El Termitas II made his way out first, followed by Jet Black and The Rookie Kyle Higgins. The HAW National Champion entered the ring last, and handed his title over to referee Tom Hunter. The bell rang, and the match was on.
The four men all eyed each other up, and Pastor James made the first move…by walking over to El Termitas II. James seemed to be talking, and pointing over to Higgins and Black, trying to work an alliance out. Termitas seemed to nod and agree with James, before motioning for James to come closer and whisper something in his ear. As James bent down, El Termitas II hit him with a quick DDT. James rolled out of the ring and Termitas posed for the crowd, only to turn around and have Jet Black deliver a clothesline.
Seeing that, The Rookie went after Black, getting a quick shot in, but Jet Black quickly reversed, taking control. After a few quick slams to Kyle Higgins, Jet Black went for a cover, but Higgins kicked out. Black whipped Higgins into the corner, but before he could walk over, El Termitas II had jumped to the top rope and hit a crossbody, locking in a pin but Black kicking out. Termitas threw Black into the turnbuckle opposite of Higgins, then ran towards Black and hit a splash. He ran back to Higgins, hitting another splash, repeating the process twice more. Black finally looked wobbly and stumbled forward, and El Termitas II hit the Standing Shiraunai. Termitas went for the pin, but James quickly went to the ring, grabbed Termitas and threw him out. James went to pin Black, but Higgins broke the pin up at the last second.
Higgins and James started going at, with James starting to get the upper hand, until Termitas came from behind and grabbed the arms of Pastor James. Termitas held James as Higgins started to punch James all across his body and face. With a one final punch, James stumbled forward and then over the ropes. That ended the double team, as Termitas kicked Higgins in the side. With Higgins stunned, Termitas once again hit a Standing Shiraunai, going for the cover, but this time Jet Black broke up the count, Higgins rolling out to recover.
Edward Findleton: Twice now Termitas has looked like he’s won the match, but he can’t complete the pinfall!
THE Casey Gains: He’s looking more and more frustrated!
Jet Black hit a snap suplex on Termitas, and managed to get a few shots on, but when Black whipped Termitas to the ropes, a flying headscissor changed the momentum.
Termitas II looked to the top rope, but with Jet Black lying down on his stomach, Termitas nodded to himself, grabbing the ankle of Jet Black and locking in an ankle lock.
Edward Findleton: An Ankle Lock, the signature submission of the Original El Termitas!
Jet Black looked ready to tap as he screamed in pain, and began to bring his hand down to the mat. At the last second, Higgins leaned into the ring from outside, and grabbed Black’s hand. Termitas tried to pull Jet Black closer to the center of the ring, but Higgins held on outside, pulling on Black’s arm in a game of tug of war. As the battle continued, James crept up from behind El Termitas, grabbed him, and hit the Cobra Clutch Slam. With Termitas letting go of Black, Higgins' momentum pulled Black from the ring. James covered Termitas, as Higgins struggled to break up the pin, but was too slow as Pastor James got the three count.
Edward Findleton: Pastor James retains! Pastor James retains the HAW National Championship!
James rushed out of the ring, grabbed the title, and retreated up the ramp, Higgins looking disappointed he couldn’t reach him in time, while the Termitas and Black recovered.
THE Casey Gains: James had a game plan, and that was be opportunistic. He telegraphed that early on, but these guys overlooked him, focused on each other…and yet he came away with the victory.
Edward Findleton: Well championship action will continue, because up next is the four on four single pinfall tag match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship!
The Exotic Delights, Phueng Ahunai and Lela LaCruse came down first, followed by the Biofuel Engineers, Dalton Elkins and Sydney Mason. The Strange Crew then made their entrance, Jessie Parran, Smiling Sally, Drizzles the Clown, and Hawaii.
Brenda Moses called for the bell as Jessie Parran and Lela LaCruse began. Both women were timid, with quick arm wrenches and releases. Finally, Lela was able to hit a snapmare onto Jessie, allowing her to apply a chinlock. Lela wore Jessie down till she was on the ground, before releasing the hold, getting on top of her and punching her.
Lela continued tormenting Jessie, and made a tag to Phueng, who continued the offensive onslaught. Phueng hit a solid german suplex and went for a cover, but Hawaii came in the ring and pulled Phueng off. Brenda Moses reprimanded Hawaii, and when she turned around, Phueng started arguing with her. With Phueng in the face of Brenda, Jessie rolled to her corner and tagged in Hawaii.
Hawaii entered the ring, and seeing this, Phueng quickly tagged in Sydney Mason. Hawaii was able to get in some cruiserweight inspired offense for a bit, but Sydney grabbed Hawaii’s mask and started to twist it around, covering his eyes. Sydney tagged in to Dalton, and the Biofuel Engineers double teamed Hawaii in the corner. Elkins finally lifted Hawaii up on his shoulders and started doing an airplane spin. As he turned in the ring, he got closer to the Strange Crew’s corner and used Hawaii’s foot to hit Drizzles off the apron. Dalton then threw Hawaii down and took him back to an unmanned corner, where Sydney Mason ran over and pulled out a pair of handcuffs.
Edward Findleton: What on earth?!
The Biofuel Engineers put a handcuff on Hawaii’s wrist, and then in the turnbuckle. Brenda Moses came over to the two, trying to bring order, but they started talking to her, pointing at Drizzles. Brenda gave a defeated nod, then pointed for Drizzles to get into the ring.
THE Casey Gains: I think the ruling is the foot of Hawaii hitting the face of Drizzles counted as a tag! Drizzles the Clown is the legal man…and unless Hawaii can get out of this predicament, he may be essentially useless!
Drizzles wasn’t a fan of the situation but went into the ring, where he started battling Dalton. Dalton got stuck on the ropes and with a spin around punch, Drizzles knocked Dalton Elkins outside the ring. Drizzles followed and delivered a russian leg sweep to the outside floor, then began to look under the ring. After a few moments, he pulled out a table, and set it up outside the ring. Drizzles then picked up Dalton and put him on the table, before climbing back up onto the apron. Just as he was about to jump, Sydney Mason clobbered Drizzles, giving Dalton enough time to escape.
Dalton crawled back into the ring and tagged in Lela. Seeing this, Drizzles walked over to Sally and tagged her in. Lela LaCruse showed no fear, approaching Sally and delivering a series of punches, though Sally seemed unaffected. Sally grabbed Lela by the shoulders, but Lela squirmed away and ran outside of the ring, going a full lap, first passing Hawaii, and then as she passed the Strange Crew corner, tugged on Drizzles leg knocking him down.
Drizzles then began to chase Lela as well, who rushed into the ring and quickly tagged in Dalton. When Drizzles got into the ring, Lela and Phueng started attacking him. The two then went on the other side of the ropes onto the apron while holding Drizzles, and looked out at the table behind them.
Edward Findleton: Oh no!
The Exotic Delights lifted Drizzles up and over the ropes, hitting a double suplex outside the ring and through the table, with all three looking out of it.
As Dalton laughed, he turned around and came face to face with Smiling Sally. At first he was taken aback, but then looked confident. He bent down a bit and showed his cheek to her, and seemed to indicate for her to give him her best shot. Sally didn’t hesitate, punching Dalton Elkins right across the face and knocking him down. Dalton stood up on instinct, clutching his face, and walked right into a bodyslam by Smiling Sally. Sally started to wail away on Dalton, who backed up into the corner. The beatdown continued until Sydney Mason rushed in to help his team mate, and punched Sally in the back of the head. Sally stopped her attack on Dalton, then slowly turned towards Mason. Mason started to back up, pleading. Sally was just about to attack, when Dalton came from behind and whipped Sally into the ropes. As she bounced back, the Biofuel Engineers hit the Double Flapjack onto her. Dalton quickly covered, and Sydney ran over to Jessie, grabbing her so she couldn’t interfere. Brenda Moses got down for the count, and Dalton Elkins pinned Smiling Sally.
Edward Findleton: Lela Lacruse and Phueng Ahunai are the new tag team champions!
As Brenda Moses went and retrieved the bells, Dalton and Sydney raised them up in the air, as the Exotic Delights were still unconscious outside of the ring. The Biofuel Engineers celebrated a little before exiting the ring, looking at Phueng and Lela, and then casually throwing the titles next to them.
THE Casey Gains: The plan worked I guess. They’re the champs, and the Strange Crew has been defeated. And I feel like to the Biofuel Engineers, that’s worth more than a championship.
Edward Findleton: Well folks…as we clean up the ring and unhandcuff people, it’s just about time. The main event of End of the Trail, Phoenix vs Mitchell Row vs Glenny Pax for the HAW World Championship.
THE Casey Gains: And it honestly looks to be working in Glenny’s favor. Scarred Badger is still out injured, and while Kitty Kayleen will be at ringside, I’m not sure if she can match the Cyberhemoth AND the Visitors!
The camera switched to ring announcer Bradley Wallace, standing in the ring.
Bradley Wallace: The next bout is for the HAW World Championship! First, introducing the challengers…
Mitchell Row’s music played, getting a mixed reaction, as he came down with Kitty Kayleen.
Bradley Wallace: Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, Mitchell Row!
Edward Findleton: A former World Champion, the most noticeable thing he has on Phoenix and Glenny Pax, is size.
THE Casey Gains: Glenny defeated The Behemoth, turning him into the Cyberhemoth. I don’t think he’s worried about Mitchell Row. The question is, how will Mitchell work with Phoenix?
Phoenix’s music then began as the crowd cheered.
Bradley Wallace: And from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Phoenix!
Phoenix ran out onto the stage and posed from the crowd, before heading down to the ring.
THE Casey Gains: This kid is passionate, he has the drive and determination, Edward. In his mind, I don’t think there’s a shred of doubt that he’s walking out the HAW World Champion.
The lights in the arena then went out, as Glenny Pax’s music played. A spotlight came on stage revealing him and Cyberhemoth.
Bradley Wallace: And the champion, from Outer Space….Glenny Pax!
Edward Findleton: One year ago, if you told me Glenny Pax would be World Champion, I would have never believed you. But if you told me he had been taken by aliens, became an intergalactic leader and has engaged war on planet Earth for the take over of the human race, culminating in a match with the fate of the universe on the line? I’d believe you.
THE Casey Gains: Normally I’d make a sarcastic quip about how the fate of the universe but I just saw Cyberhemoth glance over at me, and I’m not sure I want to take my chances.
As Glenny entered the ring and handed the title over to Dennis Thompson. Glenny had a brief strategy discussion with Cyberhemoth, while Phoenix and Mitchell Row did the same. Cyberhemoth and Kitty exited the ring, and Dennis Thompson called for the bell.
Edward Findleton: The final match of 2022 and End of the Trail! Here we go!
All three men began by circling each other. Mitchell looked over at Phoenix, who gave a nod. Row then took off running to the ropes and diving through, right into the Cyberhemoth. The two started brawling outside the ring, and the fight started going up the ramp and to the back.
Glenny had been watching and turned to Phoenix, who was grinning. Glenny tried to take a step back but Phoenix rushed forward with a quick forearm. Phoenix launched a series of strikes, causing Glenny to retreat out of the ring for a breather, but had no time as Phoenix launched himself over the ropes onto Pax.
Phoenix instantly got up and grabbed Glenny, throwing him back into the ring. As Glenny tried to stand, Phoenix took his arm, climbed to the top rope holding it for balance, then did a diving hurricanrana. Phoenix immediately got up and climbed back up to the top, fired up. He pointed down to Glenny and jumped, attempting the Phoenix Splash, but Glenny rolled away at the last moment.
Edward Findleton: It was all Phoenix early on but that crash looked to have really messed him up.
Kitty started to clap, trying to encourage Phoenix to get up. Both got up at the same time, but Glenny kicked Phoenix’s legs out from under him, and quickly locked in a reverse indian death lock. Phoenix was in a lot of pain but after nearly a minute managed to break free. With Phoenix limping, Glenny then began to work on the leg, next applying a single leg cloverleaf, and attacks onto the knee of Phoenix.
THE Casey Gains: And wise strategy by Glenny, grounding the high flying Phoenix!
As Phoenix was down on the ground in pain, Glenny began to gloat, taunting Kitty Kayleen and the crowd. Glenny then got Phoenix to his knees, and tucked his head under his arm to get in position for the Standing Tornado DDT. Glenny jumped, but Phoenix reversed, changing it into a brainbuster onto Glenny. Both men were down and breathing hard. After a few moments each started to move, and Glenny crawled towards the direction of the entrance ramp. He made a motion to be joined, and at that point, Visitors started to run down to the ring.
Seeing this, Kitty Kayleen reached under the ring and grabbed a kendo stick. As the Visitors ran towards her, she hit one in the stomach, another in the neck, the chest. After five Visitors had fallen, she smashed the kendo stick in half over the sixth Visitor. She turned to Glenny, who’s eyes were now wide in fear. Glenny stood up, but coming from behind now was Phoenix, who hit Glenny with his own version of the Standing Tornado DDT. Phoenix then started to climb to the top rope once again.
Edward Findleton: It’s just Phoenix and Glenny! This is his opportunity! He just needs to hit the Phoenix Splash!
Phoenix jumped off, and this time successfully hit the Phoenix Splash, holding his ribs in the process.
Edward Findleton: Cover him!
At that moment, Mitchell Row was now running down to the ring, and sliding in. Phoenix had stood up and began to stumble towards Glenny, which was also right in the direction of Mitchell Row, who hit a violent Spear to Phoenix.
Edward Findleton: What?!
Mitchell Row quickly covered Phoenix, and Dennis Thompson got down for the count.
Edward Findleton: No! One…two…three! Can you believe what we just saw?!
Mitchell Row crawled off of Phoenix, as Kitty grabbed the World Title and rushed into the ring to give it to her husband. Mitchell Row seemed out of breath and exhausted, but gladly took the title and held it up.
THE Casey Gains: He did it! Mitchell Row saved the world! He saved humanity! He saved the universe! It’s the happy ending we all wanted!
Edward Findleton: Not like this!
Phoenix had rolled out of the ring and recovered enough to look back up into the ring, equally heartbroken and in disbelief, before burying his head in his hands.
Kitty put the World Championship title around Mitchell’s waist, who then leaned her back to give her a deep kiss as fireworks went off.
Edward Findleton: As sickened as I am by this…we have to recognize it. Mitchell Row is the new HAW World Champion.
THE Casey Gains: Possibly the best night in the history of professional wrestling. This should be a holiday, Edward. Scarred Badger is probably back home beaming with pride!
Edward Findleton: The only three people are him and the couple in the ring. But you know what Casey, as we’re coming to a close, this has been a great season of HAW. Folks, we’ll be back in 2023, and don’t forget to watch The Bean take on Franco Mancini at the NRWL Reunion. Signing off of HAW End of the Trail, I’m Edward Findleton.
THE Casey Gains: And I’m THE Casey Gains!
Edward Findleton: Goodnight!
The show ended with one final shot of Row holding the World Championship up from the ropes.
