The HAW Throwdown theme started the show.
Edward Findleton: Welcome to HAW! We’re in Portland, Oregon tonight! And we’re kicking the show off with a great match!
THE Casey Gains: To the audience, Edward is lying to you, but I got your back. Just be prepared.
The MuscleGang made their entrance, with Scarred Badger mainly getting in the ring, ready for some one on one action. At that point, the music of Peter “Carnage” Horn, but out came Mimic, with an exaggerated goatee, and in a goat costume, but with Horn’s tights and pads over it. On the jumbotron, it read “Bleeter Barnage Horn.”
The bell rang and Badger and Barnage went at it, with the goat trying to mimic Horn’s moveset, but failing to pick up Scarred Badger. Badger quickly took control and dominated, hit a Big Boot, and picked up a pinfall victory.
There wasn’t much celebration, as the MuscleGang all quickly exited the ringside and went backstage, with Crash corralling a camera man to bring along.
Crash MuscleGate: So now that we have that out of the way, it’s time to find these Shadow Hand losers. Because we want to tell them that not only do we accept their match, but we are totally vowing revenge and beating the hell out of them for what they did to Oden last week!
Frederic St. Pierre: He is sadly in the hospital still. They hurt our friend bad.
As they walked, they saw The Shadow Hand up ahead.
Crash MuscleGate: Hey! We accept!
And with that, The MuscleGang charged towards the ShadowHand, each pairing up and exchanging punches. It was rather even, but Crash, St. Pierre, and Liam were starting to overpower Webb,May,and Black. Horn had slammed Badger through a table, and now began to change his focus, giving a double clothesline to St. Pierre and Liam, then throwing Crash into a wall. Horn was the only one standing, and approached Crash, who was sitting, back up against the wall and in pain.
Horn looked like he was about to strike, when he was suddenly cracked in the back with a steel chair. Horn fell to his knees in pain, and standing behind him was Alfred Karneus.
Alfred Karneus: For one week only…I’m going to be helping out this MuscleGang!
Karneus slammed the chair against Horn’s back a second time, then helped Crash and the remaining MuscleGang members up, before departing.
Elsewhere backstage, all four tag teams from last week, Team Sentinel, The Biofuel Engineers, Samurai’s of Power, and the O’Toole Brothers when Freezerman approached them and yelled at them to be quiet.
Freezerman: Tonight, I have a big announcement to make about the final wrestler for Destroy All Wrestlers. It won’t be any of you, I’m sorry to say, BUT…before you start screaming again, I want to say I heard you. So next week at Summit of Success, it will be a four way elimination match, with the winning team being the number one contender for the tag titles, and a match next year at One Way Trip 2026! Now excuse me, I have to get to the make up chair for the big announcement, please disperse.
Back at ringside, Harvey Allison’s music started up, and out came Allison and Strawberry Bates Hill, who noticeably had an ankle monitor around his wrestling boot.
Edward Findleton: Well we got a huge tag match next week just made, and now, a big tag match! Handsome Harvey Allison and Strawberry Bates Hill will take on Franco Mancini and Mayor Briggs!
THE Casey Gains: It looks like Hill is healed from injuries and no longer being confined to prison. Good for him!
Franco Mancini came out next, followed by Mayor Briggs and his City Council. Before the match even started, Briggs and Mancini seemed to argue at who would go first, as Allison laughed confident in his strategy, which was to have Hill start the match.
With the match starting Hill against Mancini, Hill looked surprisingly competent for having had a long run of bad luck. Mancini tagged to Briggs, and as Hill tried to tag to Allison, Allison encouraged Hill to keep fighting.
Hill started to wear down, and every time he would go for a tag, Allison would scream “You got this!” and refuse a tag. It didn’t take long for Franco Mancini to Whack Hill with a throat thrust, and pin him for the win.
Allison tried to act upset, but was seen snickering a bit as helped Hill out of the ring. Inside the ring, Briggs and Mancini had a brief staredown, and Briggs pointed out to Hill while whispering in Mancini’s ear. Briggs extended his hand, and Mancini shook it, and the two left the ring.
Edward Findleton: Did…these two just form an alliance?
THE Casey Gains: Something happened. No idea if it’s long term or short term…but it looks like some plan was hatched just now. Harvey Allison better be ready next week.
Edward Findleton: Well, we are one week away from the biggest event of the year, End of the Trail, and the biggest match, Destroy All Wrestlers. We know 7 competitors, but now, we’re about to find out the final wrestler!
With that, Douglas Brunswick, Cole Arcane, Georgios Stanellis and Kitty Kayleen, Mitchell Row, Phoenix, Fun Fight Machine, and Pastor James all made their way out to the ring and stood inside. It was tense, with Arcane and James staring daggers, while Stanellis keep looking over at Row with fear. Moments later, Freezerman showed up on the jumbotron.
Freezerman: It’s been a long year, but we’re almost there. We are about to find the final wrestler who gets the chance to win the HAW World Championship, and the million dollar cash prize with it. We’ve got a champion, we’ve got rivals, we’ve got partners. And when I originally announced the Destroy All Wrestlers match, one of the possible qualifiers I mentioned was opportunity…and I can’t think of a better opportunity than having a World Title match in your HAW debut. But be warned, this man knows what it takes to be a champion….because he’s held the VCW Championship since August of 2024!
Some in the crowd started to cheer knowing the final entrant, as a rumbling started over the speakers and a familiar guitar riff to VCW fans started up. A huge pyro went off, and stepping into view through the smoke was Leon Barron letting out a primal roar, VCW title on his shoulder.
Edward Findleton: Oh wow, THIS is an unexpected final wrestler!
THE Casey Gains: Leon Barron has dominated VCW. He’s defended that title 19 times since he won it, and twelve of those matches ended in under four minutes. He says he possessed the strength of a bear, pride of a lion, and tactics of a wolf. These seven guys in the ring need to watch out for this rookie!
As Leon Barron got to the ring, he made it a point to get up in the face of each wrestler. Phoenix and Fun Fight Machine stood closer together, Mitchell Row seemed unphased, Stanellis seemed disgusted and took a step back, Arcane stared him down before pushing him away, and Pastor James curiously raised an eyebrow, unsure of what to make of Barron. Leon Barron then approached Brunswick, and circled the champion a few times, before stepping in front of him , pushing his forehead into Brunswick’s, who didn’t back down.
The staredown continued, a few seconds until Cole Arcane attacked Leon Barron from behind, pushing him into Brunswick. Brunswick started punching Leon in retaliation, as James went after Cole. Phoenix and Fun Fight Machine joined the fray, and Row attempted to grab Georgios, who escaped and fled the ring. An angry Row exited as well to give chase.
The brawl continued inside the ring, as somehow Arcane ended up fighting Fun Fight Machine, and James going against Phoenix. Arcane ended up throwing Fun outside the ring, while Phoenix got the better of James and kicked him out. Phoenix and Arcane started to go at it until Douglas Brunswick came out of nowhere and hit a double clothesline, knocking them out of the ring. As Brunswick turned around, he was met by Leon Barron, who grabbed him and hit a Running Sitout Powerbomb onto Brunswick.
Leon Barron stood alone in the ring, then reached down and picked up his VCW Championship in one hand, and the HAW World Championship in the other and raised both to the air.
Edward Findleton: This could be the sight we see at End of the Trail in one week! We know all 8 wrestlers now! One of these men will walk out with a million dollars and the World Championship! We’ll find out next week, be sure to tune in! Goodnight!
