Dark Matches: Dixie Boyle and Ivy Clarke defeated Sabrina Nova and Molly McDonald, Jet Black defeated Foster McDonald
HAW opened up with a video package of Lovable Liam’s career highlights, as he provided a voice over.
Lovable Liam: Tonight is the biggest match of my career. Tonight, I show the world why I deserve a chance at the HAW World Championship. I’ve had a solid career, with many great memories, but the one thing that eluded me is the World Championship. Tonight is the night, the moment is here, and it is the beginning of the culmination of my journey.
As the video ended, the scene faded into the ring, with Gregory Greystone, Franco Mancini, and a cheering crowd.
Edward Findleton: Lovable Liam and Harvey Allison is our main event here in Oklahoma City, but we’re starting off with an interview with the World Champion!
Gregory Greystone: Hello ladies and gentlemen! With me is Franco Mancini! Franco, how do you feel about that video we just saw?
Franco Mancini: I don’t really care, every guy back there is saying they want to be a champion. If Liam can do it, cool, I’ll beat him. But he’s nowhere on my radar.
Gregory Greystone: Ah, the more pressing issue of King Donovan, I presume?
At that point, King Donovan slowly came out from under the ring apron, behind Franco and Gregory, and stealthily began to make his way into the ring.
Franco Mancini: All you idiots cheering him can shut up. You’re cheering a cheap shot? You like that? King Donovan claiming he wants me rattled? You can’t rattle a World Champ like me! I’m-
Donovan hit Franco in the back of the head, cutting him off. After a quick beatdown, Donovan hit the Full Nelson Slam. Donovan picked the fallen World Title up and went over to Gregory.
King Donovan: He’s going to feel that two more times. Once again next…and then again at Summit of Success. The second time I hit that, I get to keep this gold!
Donovan held the title up and posed, before tossing it onto the fallen Mancini.
THE Casey Gains: King Donovan is taking the mind game approach to Franco Mancini, we’ll have to see if this works for him.
Edward Findleton: Well speaking of mind games…
THE Casey Gains: Oh god, what segue is this?
Edward Findleton: The group of mind controlling aliens, The Visitors, beat up Bu and Green last week! An official match for the tag titles will take place at Summit of Success, with the Glenny Pax and Cyberhemoth taking on Bu and Green, and we have video footage of the tag champions resting at the Samurais of Power Dojo!
Inside a Japanese themed dojo, RJ Bu and Niko Green were sitting, wearing robes, while Onaga, Ozzie, and Trickshot were showcasing wrestling footage on the TV.
Sensei Onaga: Your wounds are about healed, but the mental toll must still weigh heavily on you. The Visitors are no easy foe. We will do our best to help you overcome them, and we will be facing them ourselves next week.
Trickshot: They’ve got it all, they’ve got regular strength, and strength in numbers.
Ozzie Reagan: But we can scout their weaknesses, and exploit them.
Niko Green: We appreciate the scouting work you three have done, as well as the hospitality.
RJ Bu: For real bro! But since we aren’t hurt anymore, are we going to have to make our own meals here?
Sensei Onaga: Yes.
RJ Bu: Laaame!
Sensei Onaga: You are not a hostage here. You are free to go. But departing may lessen your odds of victory..
RJ Bu: …I’ll just get delivery, I guess. What do you got?
As the footage started to play, the Samurais of Power began to point out common moves the Visitors used, until the scene faded out.
Backstage in a darkened part of the arena, Pastor James, Dixie Boyle, and Ivy Clarke approached Jonah Webb and Peter “Carnage” Horn.
Pastor James: Good evening gentlemen. Great to see you two in all this…shadow.
Jonah Webb: And we’re honored you accepted our invitation…because there is something we are both concerned about, correct?
Pastor James: Well I myself have many concerns, but if you’re speaking about Mr. Arcane…why yes, I do not appreciate getting jumped.
Jonah Webb: Then if our goals align, I propose an alliance. You see, Peter here, he was mismanaged. He was held back. But defeating Cole Arcane will get him back on his track to glory. I think it would be great for you to…soften him up.
Pastor James: First, I gladly accept this proposed alliance. And with you facing him tonight…I think that’s a golden opportunity.
Pastor James extended his hand for a shake. Jonah Webb smiled, and reciprocated the shake.
Back in the arena, Monica Stone was in the ring, warming up for a match.
Edward Findleton: Exciting stuff! We’ve got Cole Arcane vs Jonah Webb later, The Samurais of Power vs The Visitors next week, and Monica Stone vs Sekino the Stunt Pilot right now!
Sekino’s music played, and she walked out holding a small bag, while displaying her typical sadistic grin on her face.
THE Casey Gains: The Stunt Pilot actually requested a “warm up” match to prepare for her title match against Penny “The Hammer” Downs.
Sekino mostly toyed with Monica Stone throughout the match, until she had enough and wanted to end it. After an offensive flurry and hitting the Moonstomp, Sekino pinned Monica Stone in 2:58.
Sekino then walked over to the bag, and pulled out a cheap paper mask of Penny Downs’ face, with a string just attached to fasted it in place. Sekino put the mask on Monica Stone, and proceeded to start attacking her.
Edward Findleton: Sekino is making a point but taking it out on Monica like this isn’t the way to do it!
Referee Brenda Moses tried to stop Sekino, but Sekino grabbed Brenda and threw her out of the ring. Sekino kept attacking until Penny ran out. As Penny slid into the ring, The Stunt Pilot stepped away from the fallen Monica, but didn’t retreat the ring. Penny cautiously approached Stone, keeping her eyes on Sekino, before bending down to take the mask off, and help her get out of the ring. As Penny “The Hammer” Downs helped Monica Stone to the back, Sekino picked up the paper mask of Penny’s face, and ripped it in half.
Edward Findleton: While we get some help for Monica Stone and Brenda Moses, let’s head backstage to the National Champion, Mayor Briggs.
In the locker room, Briggs and his city council of The United States and Bigg Pimpin’ Alex were hanging out, when bursting into the room came Harvey Allison.
Mayor Briggs: What the hell mate?!
Harvey Allison: Mayor Briggs, I want to be the next National Champion. Last week, you heard a plea from Strawberry Bates Hill about putting on a great match. This week, I come to you with a different approach. I know you don’t care about good matches. Neither do I. You just care about winning, like me. So when I defeat Lovable Liam tonight, the last thing you’d want to do is face me for the National Championship.
Mayor Briggs: Ay, you’re smarter than him, atleast.
Harvey Allison: Which is why I don’t think you should be choosing your challenger.
Allison turned and looked directly into the camera.
Harvey Allison: I think that decision should come from the most important aspect of HAW. I wouldn’t be here without you. That’s right, I’m talking about YOU…the owner, Freezerman! Make the correct decision, and let me represent your company!
Allison winked at the camera, and walked away.
Briggs: Bloody hell he could have just said that WITHOUT barging into our room…
Back at ringside, Jonah Webb’s music played, and he came down with Peter “Carnage” Horn, Pastor James, Dixie Boyle, and Ivy Clarke.
Edward Findleton: Well there’s a lot on the line with our main event between Liam and Harvey, but there’s a lot of bodies out here right now!
THE Casey Gains: Cole Arcane definitely is at a disadvantage, knowing he has to keep an eye on four other people.
Arcane made his entrance, focusing solely on Jonah Webb and ignoring all others outside the ring.
As the match started, Arcane planned his strategy around being in the center of the ring, away from distractions. Webb was able to get some solid strikes in, but Arcane eventually got enough momentum to capitalize and hit the running bulldog, pinning Jonah Webb in 7:24.
As soon as referee Tom Hunter’s hand hit the mat for the third time, Arcane wasted no time and rolled out of the ring, just as James and Horn entered. Arcane retreated up the ramp to ready himself, then motioned for Horn and James to come out and meet him. Dixie Boyle and Ivy Clarke seemed to talk James out of it, who stepped back. Horn started to approach and started to go through the ropes, before changing his mind and staying in the ring. Arcane shrugged, and continued to the back.
Edward Findleton: Cole Arcane picks up the victory, and he managed to make James and Horn look like cowards in the process!
THE Casey Gains: I’m doubting any of those people in the ring are happy how tonight went down. Even if Arcane won, he should have felt some pain the aftermath. I’m calling this soften up plan a failure. Instead, he’s heading home with a victory.
Edward Findleton: Did you just say…home? Well that brings us to our next segment, where Mitchell Row shows off his home in this excerpt from his documentary on his life!
THE Casey Gains: I can’t stand you.
Video footage started, of Mitchell Row standing outside a large mansion in Las Vegas.
Mitchell Row: Well, you’ve seen my success, my path to glory, but now it’s time to where I go when I’m relaxing. And when you’re as well off as I am, relaxing here is about 90% of my time! So here’s the front door, we’ve state of the art security, a solid mahogany door with some of the finest craftsmanship you’ll ever see, but wait until you see what’s behind it.
Mitchell opened the door, and Kitty was standing there, looking shocked.
Kitty Kayleen: Mitchell? What…are you doing home now? With…people?
Mitchell Row: A surprise tour of the house for the documentary! This is my lovely wife, Kitty! And where’s my boy Georgios? I want him here too!
Kitty Kayleen: Oh! He’s…out doing errands right now. Typical pool boy errands, that’s all.
Mitchell Row: A shame! Well, I’m sure what everyone wants to see most is the master bedroom! So let’s head up the stairs and-
Kitty Kayleen: Actually, why not show off the kitchen first? Or…the dining room?
Mitchell Row: Well get there dear, no worries!
Row walked up the stairs and the camera followed, as Kitty followed with a nervous hand to her mouth. Row stopped outside the closed bedroom door.
Mitchell Row: This is…luxury!
Mitchell Row opened the door, but the master bedroom had appeared to be ransacked., and a window was open up. Row and Kitty rushed into the room.
Mitchell Row: Dear lord…we’ve been broken into it! How can someone get past the security without us being alerted?! But…nothing was of value was taken. The jewelry, the marble bust of my head, not even the gold bars I have on display.
Kitty Kayleen: Mitchell…they took my suitcase!
Mitchell Row: Suitcase? …Was there anything of value in there?
Kitty Kayleen: Ye-....No. Nothing of value. Strange someone would take that, right?
Mitchell Row: Very. Well, it’s time to contact the local law enforcement, and file an official complaint with the HoA. Boys, we’ll shoot the rest of the tour another day!
As the documentary faded and returned to the backstage, where Drizzles and Hawaii were performing magic tricks for children, with Smiling Sally and Jessie standing nearby. Drizzles “cut off” Hawaii’s fingers, who screamed in pain as large amounts of blood gushed out of the hand, scaring the children and causing them to run away. Making their way through the sea of children was the Stable, approaching the Strange Crew.
Hawaii: Can you help us get those kids back? We need to get them back home before their parents realize they’re missing.
Jenna Ingram: That’s a “you” problem. We’re here for those two, our challengers.
Zoey Chambers: And we want to congratulate you two! We think it’s exciting to defend against The Strange Crew! This is a legendary group, and we’re honored.
Jessie Parran: Well, we appreciate it. It’s going to be a good match, I’m sure of it. May the best team win.
Jessie reached her hand out for a shake, and Jenna accepted it. Hazel extended her hand to Smiling Sally, who remained motionless and stared back at Hazel.
Hazel Glover: Is…she ok?
Jenna Ingram: Don’t worry about it Hazel. She’ll be shaking your hand once we beat her.
Sally slowly turned her head towards Jenna Ingram, though her body remained still.
Jenna Ingram: Listen here doll, I’m not afraid of you, and we’re going to successfully defend these titles.
Sally slowly started to make her way towards Jenna, but Jessie stopped her, pushing Sally away.
Jessie Parran: It’s ok Sally, it’s just…casual trash talk. You don’t need to worry about them. Let’s get out of here.
Jessie escorted Smiling Sally away, and Hawaii let out a long whistle.
Hawaii: Wow! You girls are lucky, because we’ve lost complete control of that doll. I thought she was going to kill you for a moment!
Zoey Chambers: ….Is it safe that you had her around children?
Hawaii: Absolutely not!
Hazel Glover: Right…We’ll uhh…we’ll be going. Thank you!
The Stable walked away, leaving Drizzles and Hawaii’s still spurting hand standing there.
Edward Findleton: Well I think the main take away from everything we just saw is for all the children watching at home, crime doesn’t pay.
THE Casey Gains: No way can anyone make that conclusion from either of those.
Edward Findleton: We’ll agree to disagree but let’s agree it’s time for our main event! Freezerman is giving Lovable Liam, Frederic St. Pierre, and Douglas Brunswick a chance each week to plead their case for number one contender for the HAW World Title. Liam will have a tough battle against Harvey Allison!
Lovable Liam entered, and while trying to be positive and engaging with fans, had a bit more of a focus in his eyes. Harvey Allison followed, looking almost over confident in his abilities.
Liam had most of the control of the match, but whenever he could, Allison tried to attack Liam’s right arm, worsening it further and further. Liam caught a break when Harvey Allison went for the Sitout Jawbreaker, but Liam was able to keep on his feet and not get struck, and instead kick Allison in the head. A downed Allison got Liam in position for the Tiger Driver, but as he tried to lift him, Liam’s arm gave out and failed. With Lovable Liam clutching his arm, Harvey Allison recovered and grabbed Liam, and successfully hit the Sitout Jawbreaker. Allison covered Liam, and pinned him in 12:47.
Exhausted and out of breath, Harvey Allison celebrated, rolling out of the ring with his arms in the air in victory, stumbling in his steps, having been taken to the limit. Inside the ring, Liam recovered and was able to sit up, and just buried his head in his hands. He sat there for a few moments, before exiting the ring and heading to the back, his head down in disappointment.
