HAW Lockup’s theme kicked off.
Eve Solace: Welcome to HAW Lockup! I’m Eve Solace, joined in commentary by Kitty Kayleen and Georgios Staneliis, and we’re coming to you from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! Tonight we’ve got another set of tournament matches, as McKayla Wren takes on Crystal Cyclone, and Alicia McCarthy faces off against “The Marauder” Sophie Lester!
The Stable’s theme started up, and out came Zoey Chambers, and the tag champions Jenna Ingram and Hazel Glover came down to the ring.
Zoey Chambers: Last week, The Dystopians challenged The Stable. Last year, they attacked us. So the good news is, if they want us, they can get us. We can’t wait to defend the Tag Team titles against you at One Way Trip! We aren’t afraid of you!
Hazel Glover: Which uhh, does not mean you’re not formidable, strong wrestlers.
Zoey Chambers: But we’re more formidable, we’re stronger, and we know your game! Sneak attacks and intimidation!
Jenna Ingram: We’re ready for you now. I hope you’re ready for us. Consider this a hard welcome to HAW.
With that, the Stable left the ring.
Eve Solace: This tag match has been quite the exchange in a war of words. Kitty, you’re a former two time Women’s World champion yourself, what are the champions thinking at this point?
Kitty Kayleen: The champions should always be confident going into their match. They're the champions for a reason. But Hazel…she’s always been lacking that. I just think that’s going to put The Stable on the defensive.
Georgios Stanellis: Such a great observation Kitty. I couldn’t agree more.
Eve Solace: Well as we prepared for that, the National Championship tournament will continue next!
Crystal Cyclone’s music started up, and she came out with her tag partner Rachel. Makayla Wren’s music followed, and she came up trying to pump up the crowd, which was put to a stop as her mother, Susan Wren followed her out and seemed to scold her to calm her down.
Kitty Kayleen: Crystal has been with HAW for a long time, but Eve, you’ve seen Makayla Wren in VCW, tell me about her.
Eve Solace: Of course! Makayla is definitely athletic but I think a big issue with her is the ability to focus on her career, and less on partying. Susan has tried to wrangle her in but…I would say we’ve seen mixed results so far.
The match started, and was fairly evenly paced, until some illegal behavior started happening. Rachel tried for distractions, and Susan secretly gave Makayla a set of brass knuckles. Wren tried to hit Crystal, but Crystal ducked, grabbed her wrist, took the brass knuckles off and punched Makayla. Crystal Cyclone then quickly got referee Mira Levenberg’s attention and pinned Makayla Wren in 9:14.
Eve Solace: Some cheating took place at both ends, but Crystal Cyclone wins, and moves on in the tournament to face Monica Stone! Georgios, as a wrestler who had to deal with a parental figure last year, what advice would you give Makayla Wren for the future.
Georgios Stanellis: I’m not going to dignify that question with a response. Mitchell Row was not a parental figure, he was a sorry excuse for a man, and when he realized that, he retired! So now he’s working on some boat, making no money, and questioning his life choices! So Eve, I am NOT going to talk about that man ever again!
Eve Solace: O..k… My apologies! Well HAW Fans, I hope you’re enjoying watching the show, but if we’re local, be sure to come out and view Lockup live! Not only is there great action, there’s sometimes pleasant surprises! Let’s actually go live to the concourse now where the World Champion is signing autographs!
Penny “The Hammer” Downs was sitting at a table, signing photographs and posing for pictures with fans. As she called for the next person in line, Lela LaCruse approached.
Lela LaCruse: Hey champ!
Penny Downs: Could you please leave? I’m trying to be here for real fans, and I don’t want any of them getting hurt in a scuffle.
Lela LaCruse: Whoa, calm down! No scuffle! I’m here to legitimately get your autograph. I’ve waited in line, and I promised my nephew backhome I would get your autograph! He’s a big fan! You wouldn’t want to disappoint a fan of yours, would you?
Reluctantly, Penny took a photo, signed it, and handed it to Lela.
Penny Downs: There. Now get out of here. I’m not sure what your angle is with how you’re acting, but I’m not falling for it.
Lela LaCruse: What is the matter with you?! Why are you so rude to me?! I did nothing to you. I was pleasant to you last week, I followed the rules this week, and this is how you treat me? Well Penny Downs, thank you for the autograph. I’m going to give it to my nephew, but I’m going to warn him, don’t meet your heroes! They always turn out to be horrible people!
A frustrated Lela walked away, as Penny rolled her eyes, then called forward the next fan.
Back at ringside, Alicia McCarthy’s music started up, signifying the next match in the tournament. Sophie Lester in her battle armor followed.
Eve Solace: Now this should be a great match, and I’ll say it’s a shame one of these women is going out in round 1, this could be the finals if the brackets were different. Alicia McCarthy is a two time VCW Women’s Champion and has such a powerhouse style. Meanwhile “The Marauder” Sophie Lester is a maniac in the ring, not caring the least about her opponents safety!
Lester and McCarthy squared off, and the hype for the match certainly delivered. McCarthy would hit a massive slam onto Lester, who would follow up with a hard shot. The back and forth continued when Alicia McCarthy hit the Double Underhook Powerbomb in a split second, catching Sophie off guard. Alicia pinned “The Marauder” in 11:50. Alicia seemed frustrated the match took that long and didn’t even celebrate, just immediately rolled out of the ring and limped to the back, while staff attended to Sophie Lester and helped her out of the ring.
Eve Solace: What a match, and what a show! If this is your time seeing these two, you can expect more of that in the future, these two women are dangerous! Well, we’re about out of time, so thank you for-
Georgios Stanellis: Not yet.
Georgios and Kitty stood up and left the commentary table, took microphones, and went to the ring.
Georgios Stanellis: I’ve been sitting here at ringside with the beautiful Kitty Kayleen, and we’ve watched the first two weeks of Lockup. And Kitty…I think we’re on the same page?
Kitty Kayleen: Yes. The quality of wrestlers on this show is absolutely…dreadful.
Eve Solace: How can they say that after the last match we saw?!
Georgios Stanellis: So we are going to save the show! Kitty is your leading woman, and I am your leading man, and there is no better couple in professional wrestling! We shall be your stars! We are your power couple!
Stanellis was cut off by music, and coming out was Foster and Molly McDonald.
Eve Solace: The McDonald Siblings are here! You can’t call them a power couple, but you can tell their ticked off at the words being said in the ring!
Foster and Molly had a slow, leisurely pace to the ring until midway down the ramp. They started sprinting, slid into the ring, and immediately started brawling with Georgios and Kitty. The self proclaimed power couple tried to fight back but failed, and the McDonald Siblings eventually knocked Stanellis and Kayleen out of the ring. The two had enough and retreated to the back, while Foster and Molly taunted them.
Eve Solace: Well with that, we are now out of time! What a statement these siblings have made to end the show! Thank you for tuning in, and we’ll see you next week. Goodnight!
