HAW Throwdown started in the ring with Freezerman and Leon Baron, who held both the HAW World and National Championships.

Freezerman: Good evening HAW fans, and it’s great to be in Portland, Oregon! In just a few short weeks, season 9 of HAW will conclude at End of the Trail. Before we start figuring that out, there is some business to take care of. Last week, Leon Baron defeated Harvey Allison to become National AND World Champion! That is going in the record books, and that accomplishment can never be taken away. However, as owner, I want to see both titles defended, and I do not think it’s fair to wrestle two matches in one night. I talked it over with Leon Baron, and he agreed to vacate the National Championship.

The crowd began to boo, and Freezerman held his hand out. Leon handed over the title, seemingly at peace with the choice.

Feezerman: Now last week at Summit of Success, there was a #1 contender’s match. And that was won by Phoenix. I think it’s only fair to award Phoenix the National Championship!

The crowd booed even louder, and Freezerman motioned for them to quiet down.

Freezerman: I’m sorry, but that’s what we’re doing. But don’t you worry, our main event will be a NEW number one contender match for the National Championship! And before we kick off our first bit of wrestling, I think it’s time to let everyone know about the World Championship match! Leon Baron, you deserve the biggest challenge, the match of a lifetime, and I intend to give you that when you face….Peter “Carnage” Horn!

On that note, Peter Horn and The Shadow Hand all came out. Baron and Horn went face to face in the middle of the ring, neither backing down. Freezerman finally separated them.

Freezerman: You guys can get that aggression out at End of the Trail, good luck!

Edward Findleton: Well welcome to HAW Lockup, I’m Edward Findleton with THE Casey Gains and those were some big announcements to start the show.

THE Casey Gains: Phoenix is the new National Champion, AND we find out it’s Peter Horn vs Leon Baron? I gotta admit, that’s a dream match, and though the crowd didn’t like it, if Leon Baron faces him less than 100% he’ll be in trouble.

Edward Findleton: I have to agree. But enough talk, it’s time for our first match of the night!

The Samurais of Power came out first holding the tag titles, but sat down at ringside next to Casey and Edward, though didn’t put on headsets. The participants for the match was first Team Sentinel, with Billy Taylor and Wesley Wagner accompanied by Sentinel, and their opponents, Jack Trailor and Local Legend Danny Miller.

It was a fair match but Team Sentinel looked to be more crisp with their attacks. While Trailor and Miller fought valiantly, Team Sentinel hit their combo Cloverleaf + Baseball Slide to Miller, who ended up tapping out in 7:57.

As the two celebrated their victory, Sentinel himself took a microphone and approached the Samurais.

Sentinel: Last month you boys beat us in a close match. I think we’ve proven we can take you on, and we can win the tag titles. What do you say? Team Sentinel vs the Samurais of Power at End of the Trail?

Sensei Onaga: We have been given the honor of choosing our opponents at End of the Trail. This was an amazing performance by Wesley and Billy. But, we will not decide tonight. That being said, we are impressed, and will heavily consider your proposal.

Onaga held his hand out for a shake, and Sentinel accepted it.

THE Casey Gains: So that may very well be another possible match at End of the Trail.

Edward Findleton: IF the Samurais agree to it!

Backstage, Freezerman was in his office, when an angry Harvey Allison burst in, Strawberry Bates Hill behind him. Harvey took a deep breath, calmed himself down, and smiled.

Harvey Allison: Hey best boss! How’s it going? Good? Great. You know, I fancy myself as a man who knows what the people want, and if I know what the people want, I know how to make you money! And you can be richer than ever with End of the Trail being the amazing decision of yours, Leon Baron vs Peter Horn…but add in Harvey Allison and make it a three way match for the World Title! What do you say?!

Freezerman: After giving it some thought, I will decline your idea.

Harvey Allison: Ok…fine. FINE! No World title match. But I was your longest reigning National Champion. I can do that again. I’m in the number one contender’s match tonight, right?

Freezerman: Well I’ve already informed the competitors, and I haven’t informed you, so logically, you aren’t in it.

Harvey Allison: Are you kidding me?!

Freezerman: IF you want a title match, I know the one match that is still open is the tag match. All you have to do is find a partner and convince the Samurais of Power to choose you.

Harvey Allison: Oh I can convince them but find a partner?! Where am I going to find a partner?!

Freezerman nodded behind Allison, and Allison turned to Hill.

Harvey Allison: Ugh…Fine! Let’s come up with a plan, let’s go Hill.

With that, Allison and Hill left the office.

The final match of the night would decide who would face Phoenix. Georgios Stanellis came out first with Kitty Kayleen, followed by Fun Fight Machine.

Edward Findleton: This is a big match for both men. Stanellis can really prove himself, and Fun Fight Machine might be able to finally get his hands on Phoenix again!

The match was explosive, with Stanellis and Fun using everything in their repertoire. They each got nearfalls, and neither wrestler had control for too long. While they gave it their all, this also led to some exhaustion. Stanellis had tried for a pin but Fun kicked out, and Stanellis got annoyed.

At this point, Phoenix came out, on his wrist was a metal shield buckler. He marched down to the ring and as referee Dennis Thompson told him to leave, Phoenix blasted him with the buckler. Stanellis immediately went to complain to Phoenix, but was also met with a buckler. Phoenix then mounted Fun Fight Machine, hit him with the buckler, then started to choke him with the edge. He finally let go and raised his arms in the air in triumph.

Edward Findleton: Well we are being told this match is being called a draw, as it rightfully should be.

THE Casey Gains: The new National champion making it known, he doesn’t really care what’s going on, he just wants to cause damage.

Edward Findleton: That was the last match, but don’t go just yet. We are being told we have a huge announcement from The MuscleGang next!

As the ring cleared, out came the MuscleGang with microphones. Crash Musclegate, Frederic St. Pierre, Lovable Liam, and Scarred Badger.

Crash Musclegate: Ladies and gentlemen, strap in. Prepare yourself. We are about to deliver news that will shock you. That will sadden you. That will make you cry, laugh, and cheer. It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing this, but we wanted to be the first wrestlers in HAW to do it this year. We are announcing…our retirement.

Lovable Liam: Wait, the first? Jessie Parran retired months ago.

Crash Musclegate: Oh. Yeah, that’s right. Good call Liam. Then we are the first male wrestlers to retire this year.

Scarred Badger: Higgins did it a few weeks ago.

Crash Musclegate: Seriously?! Ok, fine. We are the first…wrestlers who have initials beginning with C, F, L, and S to start their names?

Frederic St. Pierre: That works.

Crash Musclegate: Good, I was getting worried. That being said, we want to have a final match at End of the Trail. A Musclegang retirement match, and we want some opponents, and there’s someone I want to call out right now, a long time rival…Portland’s own, Douglas Brunswick!

The crowd popped as Brunswick came out. He shook hands with all the Musclegang members as he got into the ring.

Douglas Brunswick: Crash, I’ve never gotten a chance to pin you. You’ve made a fool out of me right here in Portland defeating me for the World championship. But if this is your last match, I want to be part of it, and I want to pin you, once and for all.

At that point, Franco Mancini’s music hit, and he came down to the ring.

Franco Mancini: Brunswick, fancy seeing you here again. And sadly, we might be allies again. Because I also want to be part of this match. I’ve gone toe to toe with the MuscleGang a lot over my career. Sometimes as part of the Trans-Atlantic family, sometimes in other tag teams, sometimes even on European tours. I think this might be the biggest match at End of the Trail, and I want in.

Before the MuscleGang could respond, Mitchell Row’s music started up, and the rugged sailor walked down and paced around.

Mitchell Row: Firstly, I remember after losing a World title, you guys rubbed it in my face a bit…sorta glad you didn’t do it this year. But second, I notice there’s a member of the MuscleGang I have a very personal history with…Scarred Badger. And Badger………..you were right. You were right about everything, and I apologize for my previous actions. I’m glad you were able to steer your career back on course, and I’d love to be part of your last match.

Once again, nothing else could be set as this time, Glenny Pax and The Behemoth walked down, no longer in their “alien” gear but as more so regular humans.

Glenny Pax: Well we’re talking about fun past battles and great memories of duking it out…let me say this. My greatest career moment was winning the World title from YOU, Crash Musclegate. These three here, they might respect you guys. Us two? We don’t. I proved you were a fraud, and I became a World Champion. And I would love to end each and every one of your careers at End of the Trail!

Crash Musclegate: Well this is a lot of competitors, but…we accept.

Glenny Pax: They accept! Listen to these idiots! They accepted! Hello, basic math, 5 of us, 4 of you. Did you forget about The Behemoth? Because he can easily destroy this whole gang on his own!

Crash Musclegate: Oh no, we didn’t forget him. But you got the math wrong. It’s 5 on 5. See, there’s FIVE members of the Musclegang…

The crowd began to cheer, as a look of nervous shock came over Glenny’s face.

Crash Musclegate: And the Behemoth? I think the 5th, ORIGINAL Musclegang member can handle him easily!

Oden Schreiner’s music started up and the crowd exploded as the former world champion marched down to the ring.

Edward Findleton: Glenny can’t believe it! Oden Schreiner is back for one last match with his friends!

Schreiner stood next to his fellow Musclegang members, and stared eye to eye with The Behemoth.

The Behemoth had enough, and fired the first shot, going for a punch on Oden. Oden blocked it, fired back with his own punch to Behemoth and the brawl was on. The show ended in chaos, as the 5 on 5 brawl continued.

HAW Lockup theme played to start the show.

Eve Solace: Welcome to HAW Lockup! Tonight we’re in Vancouver, British Columbia, and in the final stretch before End of the Trail! Our main event is not a match, but the final announcement of the last wrestlers in this year's Destroy All Wrestlers match!  But first, let’s get the show on the road with a #1 contender’s match for the tag team titles!

Daisy Fields and Maple Blossom of Summer Fun came out first, followed by The Stable. Zoey Chambers got a huge hometown pop, as she teamed with Hazel Glover, with Jenna Ingram watching at ringside.

Athena: Both groups have been tag team champions before, with The Stable actually defeating Summer Fun to pick up their first titles.

Eve Solace: But, that was Jenna Ingram and Hazel Glover. Tonight, Jenna is on the sideline after her tough loss in the National Championship last week.

Before the match started, Crystal Cyclone and Rachel came out to the top of the ramp with lounging beach chairs and drinks, ready to enjoy the match. As it got started, they seemed to be laughing any time a wrestler was in pain and making fun of them, and all women got made fun of equally as it was an even match. Zoey eventually hit a Jumping DDT to Daisy, and was able to pin her and win the match in 8:12 giving her a huge cheer from the Vancouver fans.

As The Stable celebrated, Rachel and Crystal mocked the Stables, acting like chickens with hands under their arm pits while pointing and laughing. Jenna seemed to ask permission to go and attack them, but Zoey and Hazel declined.

Eve Solace: Well, we got our first match set for End of the Trail! The Stable vs The Solo Girls for the HAW Tag Team Championship!

As the ring cleared, Moonlight and Alicia McCarthy made their way down to the ring.

Moonlight: So, we’re starting to get sick of people putting their noses into our business.

Alicia McCarthy: Last week, when we were…finishing a job, so to say, these nobodies…Joslyn Sky and Rene Pauline Galiardi ran down and attacked us.

Moonlight: But we’ve learned a lesson. Let’s not deal with this through violence, like when we hurt the Revellers. Let’s deal with this through peace and diplomacy!

Eventually, out came Joslyn Sky and RPG who began to make their way down the ramp. They didn’t get far, because also running from the back was Maisie Lane and Makayla Wren, who attacked Sky and RPG from behind. The VCW women were thrown into the ring, and it was now a 4 on 2 stomp attack, until Cambria Moorcraft came running down.

Eve Solace: Whoa! Our third VCW wrestler!

Athena: These three were part of a great four way women’s championship in VCW, I’m surprised she’s coming for the save!

Moorcraft was able to get some offense in, sending Wren and Lane down to the mat, but a powerful clothesline from McCarthy ended the momentum, and very quickly, a 4 on 3 emerged again. McCarthy finally picked up Moorcraft and got her ready for the Double Underhook Powerbomb, when the music of Darya Yashin came on.

Eve Solace: Is this the fourth woman in that match?! The Dire Linx, Darya Yashin!?

And on queue, Darya emerged and methodically walked to the ring. She went toe to toe with McCarthy, before sending her out of the ring with a back body drop. Sky, RPG, and Moorcraft then began to recover, and momentum changed, eventually tossing all the HAW Veterans out of the ring. McCarthy, Moonlight, Lane, and Wren all retreated up the ramp, looking even more annoyed at the latest development.

Eve Solace: This is looking like some HAW vs VCW anger going on here!

Athena: Those are four unlikely allies, but they look like they’re ready to show the vets they mean business!

For the next match, Molly McDonald made her way down to the ring.

Eve Solace: This is our final match of the night, it’s a #1 contender’s match for the National Championship!

The other two competitors followed, first Monica Stone, then Sabrina Nova. As the match began, Monica left the ring to allow Nova and McDonald to duke it out. Stone waited for an opportune time to strike when both women started to wear down, and came close to pinning Nova, but she managed to kick out.

From there, each wrestler came close to picking up a victory with last second kick outs or pin interruptions. In the end, Sabrina and Molly double teamed Monica to send her out, and Sabrina then hit a Springboard Knee Strike on an unsuspecting Molly, knocking her out, and allowing Nova to get the win in 9:25.

As an exhausted Nova celebrated her win, Sophie Lester marched down the ramp, looking ready to fight. Nova saw her, and met her as she got into the ring, punches flying. The fresher Lester quickly gained the upper hand, and started to bring Nova to her knees, when McDonald recovered and attacked Lester. The two started to repel her, until Monica Stone rushed in and joined in, attacking Molly and Sabrina.

Lester and Stone gained full control, and stood over the two women. Monica Stone smiled at Lester, but Lester didn’t react. She looked Stone up and down, and left the ring.

Eve Solace: Some post match antics there, but we now have a National Title match for End of the Trail, “The Marauder” Sophie Lester vs Sabrina Nova!

Athena: And there’s some history with these two, Nova and her have teamed together, and at the start of this year Lester attacked Nova. It could be time for revenge.

Eve Solace: Well everyone, it’s that time. We are about to find out the final competitors for the Destroy All Wrestlers match!

As the ring became clear, Delilah made her way down to the ring, and proceeded to introduce all the current wrestlers in Destroy All Wrestlers who made their way to the ring. Bethany Watts, Dina Darzi, accompanied by Nazir and Nadine, Elena Dubois, Kherti Bhakta, and the champion Sally Larkin. All five women waited in the ring.

Delilah: It’s been difficult to choose these final three wrestlers for this match, for the chance to win the HAW World Championship, and to get a million dollar bonus. The sixth competitor for this match…is a woman who I saw wrestle last week, and did the ring thing, and just had the wrong result. She deserves a second chance, Penny “The Hammer” Downs!

Penny Downs came out to the ring. She didn’t look excited to be chosen, just determined to not mess up this chance, as she stared down Larkin and the title.

Delilah: Our seventh competitor for this match, is a woman who might be the most fearsome wrestler in the world, a woman who has history with many of you…Sekino the Stunt Pilot!

With a typical sadistic grin, Sekino made her way down the ramp, confident and ready to inflict pain if needed.

Delilah: And with our  eight and final competitor, I am happy to announce a woman who was part of the most extreme match in the history of HAW, the one and only Cate Stiles!

Cate Stiles came out, pointing right at Larkin, but also looking around and observing all the competition as she entered the ring.

Delilah: And here they are! I am officially declaring these the official-

Nadine Reza-Darzi: Wait!

Delilah stopped mid sentence, stunned, as Nadina approached.

Nadine Reza-Darzi: Before you do that…Dina. Nazir and I talked to your mother and father. They really think that the best bet to bring glory to the Darzi family name…is for me to compete. I’m asking as your sister-in-law, please! Give up your spot for me!

The crowd booed, and Dina looked shocked Nadine was saying this.

Nazir Darzi: It’s true! We called them, they agreed with us. The fact is, you just aren’t as good as Nadine! It’s not personal, really! It’s just giving us the best odds!

Nadine Reza-Darzi: Think carefully about this. Don’t be selfish and blow this! This is life changing money! Think of your parents! Think of your family!

Delilah: Dina, I’m going to need you to decide right now, this show is about to go off the air.

Dina looked so conflicted, but finally her her head dropped and her shoulders slumped. She took one of the nearby microphones.

Dina Darzi: I….relinquish my spot to Nadine.

On that news, Nadine celebrated and jumped into Nazir’s arms. A devastated Dina couldn’t take it and left the ring, rushing to the back and burying her head in hands.

Delilah: Well…I didn’t expect that. So, Nadine Reza-Darzi is in, and that is our eight competitors. Good luck at End of the Trail everyone!

The show ended with a camera pan of all eight women, ending with Nadina and Nazir kissing in celebration.

The HAW  Theme kicked off the show.

Edward Findleton: Welcome to HAW Summit of Success! We are in Salt Lake City, Utah! I’m Edward Findleton, joined by Eve Solace and  THE Casey Gains. Who wants to go first with the card for tonight’s show?

Eve Solace: A big World Title match will headline the Women’s Division, as Sally Larkin defends against Penny “The Hammer” Downs. Then, The White Tiger Kherti Bhakt and No-Nonsense Bethany Watts defend the tag titles against the Solo Girls, Crystal Cyclone and Rachel, “The Marauder” Sophie Lester defends the National Championship against Jenna Ingram, and finally, Moonlight and Alicia McCarthy take on The Revellers, Teri and Roo!

THE Casey Gains: I’ll conclude here, and go quick because we have a lot of action to get too. The main event of the night, the World Champion Handsome Harvey Allison defends against the National Champion Leon Baron, in a match for ALL the gold. We’ve also got The Strange Crew and The Samurais of Power in a tag title match, The Shadow Hand Jonah Webb, Peter “Carnage” Horn, Jet Black, and Demon Lord Lenin May facing Franco Mancini, Douglas Brunswick, Mayor Briggs and The United States. But we’re kicking off the finals of this National Championship #1 Contenders match, as Crash MuscleGate, Foster McDonald, Phoenix, and Tyler Ford have a four way match with the first to secure a pinfall winning!

Foster McDonald made his entrance first, accompanied by his sister Molly. Crash entered second, with the MuscleGang of St. Pierre, Liam, and Badger by his side. A lonesome Tyler Ford cautiously made his way to the ring, eyeing up his competitors the whole time. Then with the arena lighting switching Red, a stern looking Phoenix emerged from the back and marched to the ring with a purpose.

The match started with a temporary alliance of Crash, Tyler, and Foster all agreeing to attack Phoenix, but once Phoenix was out of the ring, the two young guns turned on Crash, beating him down and taking him out.

Ford and McDonald had some good back and forth offense and near falls for both, but eventually Phoenix and Crash recovered. The two veterans began to take over, Crash wrestling McDonald while Phoenix wrestled Ford, and this time the former world champions came out on top until the two stood alone in the ring. Immediately Crash and Phoenix went towards each other, and after a series of counters, Crash MuscleGate hit the Dropkick on Phoenix. He went for the cover but Foster McDonald broke the pin up at the last moment.

All four men started to at it again, and Crash hit another Dropkick on Foster, but sent Foster over the rope and out of the ring. Tyler Ford used that opportunity to attack Crash with a leg sweep, knocking him down, and the locking in the Cattle Mutilation. Ford was bridged perfectly, and Crash was trying to hold on from tapping out. Without warning, Phoenix jumped from the top rope to hit a Phoenix Splash on Tyler Ford. The hold was broken, and Phoenix went for a cover quickly, and picked up the victory in 12:29.

Edward Findleton: And Phoenix will get a shot at the National Championship!

THE Casey Gains: That was seconds right there. If Crash tapped out a second before that Phoenix Splash, we’d be calling Tyler Ford’s name.

Eve Solace: Whatever happens tonight between Baron and Allison, Phoenix is going to be a very tough competitor.

At that point, Delilah appeared on the Jumbotron.

Delilah: Good evening HAW fans. We are a month away from End of the Trail, and a month away from Destroy All Wrestlers. So tonight, I will be revealing some of the women participating in the eight woman, million dollar, world title match! Firstly, the winner of Sally Larkin and Penny “The Hammer” Downs will obviously have a guaranteed spot in the match. But now, it is time to officially announce the first known participant….Dina Darzi!

Eve Solace: Wow!

Dina Darzi then came out to the top of the stage, waving to the fans, and could be heard saying “Thank you!” into the camera.

Edward Findleton: We saw a young rookie in last year’s match, and it looks like Dina Darzi will be continuing that tradition! And we have a big woman’s tag match next, and who knows if one of these women can be in Destroy All Wrestlers?

Alicia McCarthy and Moonlight both came out just as Dina Darzi was starting to head back behind the curtain. The two pushed her away, and there was a staredown, but the tag team decided to focus on their upcoming match.

Eve Solace: Dina picked up the win last week over Alicia, and I think she and Moonlight are still furious about that.

THE Casey Gains: Yeah, but they can get that anger out soon, that was Revellers interference that helped with that win.

The Revellers, Teri and Roo, then came down, smiling and relaxed as usual. As the match started, The Revellers' lackadaisical attitude seemed to upset Moonlight and McCarthy more, which forced them into mistakes. Roo nearly got a pinfall over Moonlight, and it was at that point Moonlight and McCarthy refocused. The two started frequent tags, and McCarthy’s power quickly started to wear down the Revellers. Eventually all four women were in the ring, but Moonlight hit her Gourdbuster on Roo, and McCarthy hit a Double Underhook Powerbomb on Teri, then she coveredTeri to get the win in 7:43.

As the match ended, McCarthy and Moonlight weren’t done. While Moonlight stomped on both women, McCarthy set up a table in the ring. She then placed Teri on the table, got Roo into position for a Double Underhook Powerbomb and slammed her onto Teri and through the table.

That wasn’t enough for the duo. Moonlight left the ring and grabbed two chairs, handing one to Alicia. The two seemed to line up the chairs with the Reveller’s heads, getting ready to swing. The crowd then erupted as running from the back was Joslyn Sky and Rene Pauline Galiardi. The two rushed into the ring and tackled Moonlight and McCarthy. Moonlight and McCarthy went on the defensive, and fled the ring. RPG and Sky checked on the Revellers, as Moonlight and the Alicia once again appeared frustrated

Edward Findleton: Well, Alicia and Moonlight get the win, but might have made even MORE enemies.

Eve Solace: More enemies, and even more VCW Women appearing on HAW!

Edward Findleton: Certainly a lot of surprises so far tonight, and the action continues with our next match, the 8 person tag match!

Douglas Brunswick came out first, followed by Franco Mancini, then the City Council, as Mayor Briggs and The United States had Bigg Pimpin’ Alex in tow. Moments later, the Shadow Hand made their way down as one.

THE Casey Gains: Four on four tag, the first pinfall wins the match!

The match started out an extraordinarily frantic pace, with one wrestler hitting an opponent, the opponent tagging in, the new partner hitting the enemy, who followed with a tag of their own, as everyone was quickly exchanging blows and looking fresh.

Eventually Mayor Briggs and Jonah Webb became the legal wrestlers, and each was trying to out-cheat the other, leaving referee Tom Hunter at his wits end trying to reign in the match. Briggs eventually got a sneaky low blow kick on Webb, and started to have his way with Webb. However, an errant irish whip allowed Jet Black to tag in. Black was able to surprise Briggs, and soon started making coordinated tags with Lenin May, as they wore Briggs down.

Eve Solace: This is the biggest advantage here, May and Black are regularly teaming together.

THE Casey Gains: I agree, the City Council exist but that’s a bit of a different relationship, and it’s showing here.

Lenin May and Jet Black were now stomping on Briggs, and Franco had enough, running into the ring to break it up. He threw Jet Black out of the ring, then Whacked Lenin May with a Throat Thrust knocking him down. Webb now jumped into the fray, and brawled with Mancini, both struggling against each other and falling over the ropes outside the ring. Brunswick took this opportunity to go into the ring, run and jump to the rope, and springboard splash to the outside into Mancini, Black, and Webb.

Mayor Briggs was now crawling to his corner, the crowd getting excited, and made the hot tag to The United States. For perhaps the first time in his career, the crowd erupted for the United States, and he came into the ring pumped up, and turned to the crowd begging them to get louder. The United States climbed to the middle rope and again raised his hands for more cheers, and as he jumped back down into the ring, saw that Lenin May had managed to tag in Peter “Carnage” Horn.

The face of The United States dropped, and fear set in for a moment, until he mustered his courage and charged Peter Horn. The United States got a few solid shots in, but Horn hit a vicious knee to the gut. Horn followed with a few more strikes to the knee, including one straight into the United States jaw, then picked him up to hit the Side Sitout Powerslam. Horn covered, and got the victory for his team in 8:22.

Edward Findleton: That does it folks, Peter “Carnage” Horn wins it for The Shadow Hand.

Horn didn’t wait for his hand to be raised. He exited the ring and picked a woozy Demon Lord Lenin May to his feet, then helped up a wobbly Webb and Black. The foursome went to the top of the ramp, most hurt, but all sinister smiles, as Horn raised his hands in victory.

Edward Findleton: Well folks, not it’s time to turn to some more traditional tag team action, as the Kherti Bhakta and Bethany Watts defend against Crystal Cyclone and Rachel!

The challengers emerged first, looking so confident they appeared bothered by the fact they had to win the titles. Following them was No Nonsense Bethany Watts and The White Tiger Kherti Bhakta.

With the match underway Kherti Bhakta was definitely out wrestling Crystal Cyclone. Crystal tagged Rachel in, who didn’t fare any better. When Bhakta made a tag to Watts, the Solo Girl still couldn’t muster any strong offense. Watts went for some covers, but each time the illegal woman interfered to break up the pin fall.

Crystal and Rachel were desperate to regroup, but Watts didn’t let up, and motioned for Bhakta to come in. They both grabbed Crystal Cyclone and tried for a double suplex, but Rachel rushed over and pushed Crystal back forward, allowing her to change momentum and reverse it into a DDT onto Bhakta and Watts.

The women all took a while to get up, but Kherti got to her feet first and grabbed Crystal from behind, holding her arms. Watts finally got up and went for a huge haymaker, but Crystal ducked and Watts fist collided with Bhakta.

At that point, the hurt Kherti started to argue with Watts, and could be heard telling her to be more careful. Watts countered that Kherti should have had a bitter grip, and annoyed Kherti began to walk away. Watts didnt like that and grabbed Kherti by the hair to bring her back. Kherti reactivated defensively elbowing watts, and at that point the two exchanged blows. Watts finally got an upper hand and hit a Backbreaker on Kherti, but as she turned around, walked into Rachel’s arms who hit her with the Pump Handle Suplex. Crystal then performed a Moonsault off the top rope onto Watts, covered, and picked up the victory in 8:02.

Eve Solace: Wow! We’ve got new tag team champions for the second time in their career!

THE Casey Gains: It looks like in the end the teamwork of Crystal and Rachel paid off, because the double team moves of Watts and Bhakta fell flat.

Crystal and Rachel celebrated in the ring as an annoyed Watts and Bhakta started heading to the back, but everything stopped when Delilah appeared on the jumbotron again.

Delilah: It’s time for another announcement of Destroy All Wrestlers competitors! Last year, we saw the tag team champs in Destroy All Wrestlers, and I want something a little similar this year. The next two competitors are…Kherti Bhakta and Bethany Watts!

In the ring, Crystal and Rachel’s celebration turned to outage, while Bhakta and Watts stopped in their tracks and exchanged a side eye. They slowly turned their bodies until it was a head to head confrontation, but no blows were exchanged. The two finally pushed off from each other and went backstage.

Edward Findleton: Well that’s certainly going to be some drama leading into Destroy All Wrestlers with those two! And up next, more women’s wrestling as The National Championship is on the line with Jenna Ingram challenging The Marauder Sophie Lester!

The challenger Jenna Ingram came out with her allies Zoey Chambers and Hazel Glover, with Jenna looking ready for a fight. The champion, Sophie Lester followed, and showed no fear in her eyes as she got into the ring.

The match began with some quick arm drags from Ingram, getting Lester off her game, but Lester was able to respond back with powerful punches and quick kicks. It clearly hurt Jenna, but she was able to trade blows just as well, and finally got a firm upper hand.

With the match in control, Jenna Ingram implemented a strategy of continuing attacks on Lester’s arms, and locking in arm bars when she could. The damage took its toll on Lester, but she still had her legs, and managed to kick Ingram whenever she could. Lester found her lucky break with a solid knee to Ingram’s jaw, and seemed to knock Jenna out. Lester went for the pin, but was only able to get a two count.

The match became a battle of kicks vs arm attacks, but Jenna then surprised Sophie with a solid to midsection and a punch of the head. Lester was woozy, and Jenna Ingram grabbed her and applied the Lotus Lock.

Eve Solace: We can have a new champion if she taps! Those arms have to be killing her!

Sophie Lester was screaming in agony but refusing to tap, and Jenna was completely in the zone, locked in and screaming back for Lester to tap. Both women had veins bulging from the intensity of the resistance and the pressure.

Lester used all her strength to maneuver her body, and finally got a foot on the rope. Referee Mira Levenberg told Ingram to break the hold, but Ingram kept screaming and applying pressure. Ingram held on tight, and Levenberg began a count, and reached five, and immediately called for the bell.

Ingram finally released the hold, exhausted and fell back to the mat. She put one arm over her eyes and one hand up in the air in victory.

Ring Announcer Bradley Wallace: The winner of this match as a result of a disqualification…”The Marauder” Sophie Lester!

Ingram quickly sat up, now in shock. She immediately began to argue with Mira Levenberg, who was trying to explain the lack of releasing the hold.

Edward Findleton: And Jenna Ingram is furious!

THE Casey Gains: She thought Lester tapped. She thought she was a champion! Of course she’s furious!

Levenberg pointed to the ropes and Lester’s foot, and Ingram had enough, and headbutted Levenberg. She then applied the Lotus Lock to the referee, as Zoey Chambers and Hazel glover rushed into the ring. Slowly the two Stable members pried Ingram off of Levenberg, and tried to reign in her emotions. The Stable finally left the ring, as medical went to check on Mira.

Before The Stable could exit, Delilah once again showed up on the jumbotron.

Delilah: We’ve had some big announcements for Destroy All Wrestlers, and I am going to announce one more tonight, with the remaining competitors revealed next week! And that will be…..The Executioness, Elena Dubois!

Standing at the top of the ramp, looking up at the jumbotron, an enraged Ingram took her boot off and threw it up at the jumbotron hitting the giant Delilah face, before storming to the back, Zoey and Hazel chasing after her.

Edward Findleton: Yeah, not the timing for that announcement.

THE Casey Gains: Smart of her to go on the jumbotron though, she’d be in the same condition as poor Mira.

Eve Solace: My big take away, is Elena Dubois in Destroy All Wrestlers? That is a very real threat to be HAW World Champion.

Edward Findleton: Well folks, it’s about time. Our next match won’t be taking place in the arena, but…at a Church Picnic for Vol-Clown-o!

It was night, and Sensei Onaga was driving referee Dillon Bartos, Trickshot, and Ozzie Reagan down a rural dirt road and stopped at a sign that said “Church Picnic ahead”

Sensei Onaga: Road ends here but there’s a path. Good luck. Fight with honor.

The ref, Trickshot, and Ozzie departed the car and followed a path through the woods. In the distance, music could be heard, and as they approached, a well lit church picnic with tents and buildings and a live stage band could be seen. However, every patron at the picnic looked like some sort of clown. The Samurais looked un-nerved at this, but spotted Drizzles and Hawaii eating a large grouping of picnic tables.

The Samurais approached, and The Strange Crew saw them. Hawaii flung a pizza at the Trickshot while Drizzles threw a burger at Ozzie. The two Samurais looked startled at getting hit by the food, and took two drinks from nearby clowns and flung it at the Strange Crew. A food fight then broke out amongst everyone, food and drinks flying left and right, as the two tag teams finally met up and started brawling across the picnic tables. Teams were thrown into food and drinks. Hawaii managed to fight a mustard bottle and squirt it at Ozzie’s face, but Ozzie still managed to fight through the mustard and grapple with Hawaii. Trickshot was trying to stuff Drizzles in a nearby garbage bag, but Drizzles fought back and managed to pick Trickshot up and body slam him through a table.

The match started to stray from the picnic tables, and ended up at a nearby basket raffle that was being overseen by some elderly woman clowns. The women tried to get the wrestlers to buy raffle tickets, but the Strange Crew just launched the Samurais into all the baskets and prizes, knocking the set up over. Drizzles picked up a basket of towels and was hitting Ozzie over the head, while Hawaii’s basket busted open and was leaking candy as he attacked Trickshot. Suddenly, the two baskets were ripped out of the Strange Crew’s hands by the old women clowns. Those clowns had brooms and began to whack Hawaii and Drizzle with them. As the Samurais recovered, they grabbed nearby brooms and joined in on the attacks, with Drizzles and Hawaii fleeing to the game area.

Ozzie went to attack Hawaii, while Trickshot went after Drizzles. The Samurais were in control, punching and hitting the Strange Crew past each game. Hawaii had managed to get to a nearby water tank, where a clown was suspended above it waiting for someone to throw a ball at a target. Seeing Hawaii come, the clown climbed out of the tank above the cage, as Hawaii climbed into the cage. Ozzie followed, but trying to climb in, Hawaii attacked. He started to quickly get the upper hand and dragged Ozzie onto the platform, and hit the Leg Drop Bulldog. Hawaii went for the cover, and Dillon Bartos went down for the count. Seeing this, Trickshot grabbed a baseball nearby and threw it, hitting the target. The floor in the cage collapsed right before 3, breaking up the pin as Hawaii and Ozzie fell into the water tank.

The drenched wrestlers climbed out, and the match made its way over to the live band playing on the stage. The clown musicians ignored the wrestlers, as they fought in between all the movement of the band. Drizzles was on the lookout for a nearby weapon and saw what looked like a baseball bat, but it was made out of chocolate. He shrugged now having a better idea, and swung it at Reagan, who caught it. Drizzles started trying to use his strength to force the bat onto his neck, but instead, Ozzie took the bat and bit it in half, then spit the chocolate into Drizzles face. Drizzles stumbled backwards, and Ozzie stole a guitar from a clown, and hit Drizzles over the head. He went for the cover, but Hawaii broke the pin up.

The competitors finally made their way off the stage to the Church of Vol-Clown-O. Inside sat dozens of clowns, motionless staring straight ahead at an altar. The altar had a 15 foot styrofoam painted volcano, and at the base of it, a hot tub with dyed orange bubbling water that had Mimic sitting in it, waving to the wrestlers.

The fight slowly made its way to the front of the church, none of the clowns reacting to the battle going on beside them. They passed Vol-Clown-O’s hot tub, and began battling up to the top of the volcano. Hawaii made a desperate charge towards Ozzie, who backbody dropped Hawaii into the hole at the top of the volcano, Hawaii disappearing from sight. Drizzles started to punch and overpower Trickshot, but Ozzie came in for the same. The two quickly double teamed Drizzles, then nodded to each other. They grabbed Drizzles and hit Double Reverse Russian Legsweep. The impact caused the entire “volcano” to collapse. Trickshot and Ozzie both covered Drizzles, and got the three count in 10:03.

Exhausted, dirty, and wet, the Samurais of Power held their hands up in the air victoriously. Mimic, or Vol-Clown-O, reached underwater and pulled out the tag titles, and handed it to the two Samurais. They graciously, yet nervously, accepted the titles. Not wanting to stick around any longer, the Samurais rushed out of the Church of Vol-Clown-O as the new tag champions.

The scene faded back to the announcers table at the arena.

THE Casey Gains: I think oftentimes whenever I see a match with either The Strange Crew or The Samurais of Power, I think it was the stupidest thing HAW has ever done. And after what we just saw, those combined teams…I think we just saw the most f-

Edward Findleton: Fun match ever! What a great time! And now, it’s time for the Women’s World Championship!

The challenger, Penny “The Hammer” Downs entered the ring first. There seemed to be a tepid look on her face, understanding the seriousness of the situation.

Eve Solace: Penny Downs is in the zone, and I think she has a chance. I really think Larkin may still be hurting from her deathmatch a month ago, at that attack last week with the camera and boom mic may have done some additional damage.

Sally Larkin came out next, the title on her shoulder, staring daggers at Penny Downs. Right as she got into the ring, Sally grabbed one of the cameras from the cameramen, and brought it into the ring. Sally held the title up with one hand while pointing the camera at it with her other, then turned the camera to Downs, who looked annoyed at the taunt. Referee Brenda Moses convinced Sally to put the camera down and give her the title, and with that, the match began.

Both women charged each other exchanging punches but Sally quickly overwhelmed Penny Downs, and transitioned to a quick neckbreaker. Sally continued with elbow drops and leg drops, before deciding Downs was hurt enough that she could start doing her power moves. The first few attacks worked, but when Larkin went for a scoop slam, Downs wriggled out and reversed into a roll up. Larkin kicked out, but as she stood up, Downs elbowed Sally in the heel causing Larkin to stumble.

Edward Findleton: You’re right Eve, there were some ankle locks last month, those feet may still be tender and recovering!

Penny focused her attacks on Larkin’s ankles and feet, trying to ground her opponent. Penny was looking sharp now, and had a clear strategy. But when she irish whipped Sally to the ropes, Penny ran at her for a jumping shoulderblock, but Sally’s leg gave out, and Downs collided with referee Brenda Moses.

Downs didn’t waste any time though, she went back to Larkin and grabbed her, then hit Sally with the Single Underhook Facebuster. Instead of going for the cover, Penny Downs looked at her fallen opponent and the ref, and an idea seemed to her. Downs pushed an out of it Larkin out of the room, then shoved another camera man away, once again holding it like a battering ram. She started to line up Larkin for a shot to the head, but suddenly turned her attention to the jumbotron.

Penny had inadvertently pointed the camera at the World Championship, and she quickly turned to the actual title. Penny then shook her head and slapped herself across the face. She shrieked at the crowd.

Penny Downs: Stop judging me! I will prove I’m a champion!

Downs picked Larkin up and helped her back into the ring, then Downs went to check on Brenda Moses, who started to come to. Down turned around, right into the arms of Larkin who quickly delivered a Tornado Bomb. She covered Downs, and Moses slowly counted to three ending the match at 10:56.

Edward Findleton: That wasn’t a pretty match for Larkin or Downs for that matter, but Sally Larkin retains!

THE Casey Gains: Looks like Penny’s imposter syndrome collided with her desire to win, and that was just really poor timing for her.

Eve Solace: And now that she's coming too, she looks like she’s filled with regret.

Edward Findleton: I can see why, she might have cost herself a spot in Destroy All Wrestlers! But with this win, we now know five of the eight wrestlers! Dina Darzi, Kherti Bhakta, Bethany Watts, Elena Dubois, and Sally Larkin! I’m excited to hear who the final three will be in the future, but up next is our main event, the Men’s World Championship match, Harvey Allison defending against Leon Baron!

Leon Baron came out first, pumped up and holding the National championship high. Harvey Allison followed out with Strawberry Bats Hill and the World championship, but no posing or flexing for the crowd.

Edward Findleton: This very well might be the toughest match of Harvey Allison’s career.

Referee Dennis Thompson held both titles up, and called for the bell, the match was on.

Allison looked overly cautious, not wanting to make a mistake, but this caused Baron to get some quick solid blows in, and thus, take control of the match. Leon Baron showed off an arsenal of powerhouse moves on Allison, and Harvey Allison looked like he was trying to just survive, until a well placed thumb to the eye gave him his breather, and then a chance to regain control.

Allison slowed the match to a halt, locking in submissions, then when breaking the holds, giving quick strikes with his knees and elbows to inflict more pain to Baron. Allison was feeling confident, but that quickly went away when Baron elbowed him in the stomach, causing Allison to hunch over. Baron got up and went for the Canadian Destroyer but Allison pushed him into the turnbuckle, then splashed Baron into the corner. Allison then looked towards the ropes, and began to climb.

THE Casey Gains: I’m not sure what Harvey Allison is doing here, he’s not known for top rope dives…

Allison turned around and jumped with a moonsault, and successfully connected. He went for the cover, yet Baron kicked out at 2, shocking Allison. Allison wasted no time and went back to the offense, and tried to pick Baron to quickly get in position for the Sitout Jawbreaker, but Baron battled back and quickly slammed Allison to the ground. Baron now eyed the rope and began to climb.

Eve Solace: Casey mentioned Allison not going to the top, and this isn't familiar territory for Baron either!

Allison got to his feet and Baron jumped, but aimed for Allison’s neck and hit a diving hurricanrana. Baron was getting pumped up, looking to line up Allison for a Canadian Destroyer, when Hill reached in from ringside and tripped Baron.

It was a small distraction, but enough for Allison to quickly jump on Leon and start the attack. Allison pummeled the National Champion, and irish whipped baron to the ropes. Allison bent over in position for a backbody drop, but Leon Baron reversed that by jumping right into a Canadian Destroyer.

Leon Baron covered, and pinned Harvey Allison in 13:14.

Edward Findleton: It’s over! The National Champion is the new World Champion! The strength of a bear, pride of a lion, and tactics of a wolf, Leon Baron wins!

Eve Solace: I’ve seen a lot of Leon Baron matches where he dominates, but Harvey Allison had him on the ropes for a while.

THE Casey Gains: And one simple mistake by Allison and that was it.

Edward Findleton: This was HAW Summit of Success, and Leon Baron, the National Champion, the World Champion, has indeed climbed to the top! Goodnight!

The show ended with one last shot of Baron holding both titles high in the center of the ring.

The HAW Throwdown theme played to start the show.

Edward Findleton: Welcome to HAW Throwdown! We are in Denver, Colorado, and our main event will see the HAW World Champion “Handsome” Harvey Allison and Strawberry Bates Hill take on Leon Baron and Freezerman! We’ve also got two matches in the National Championship tournament, and the first one is now!

Tristan Parker came out first in his letterman jacket and chewing gum, confident, while his opponent Tyler Ford, in his steampunk attire, walked out second.

This was a very even bout, and many near falls, and Parker thought he had the match won multiple times. Parker started to get frustrated and argue with referee Dillon Bartos, which gave Ford the chance to kick him in the back of the head to bring Tristan down, and then lock in a Cattle Mutilation. Tristan Parker tapped, and Tyler Ford moved on in 9:14.

Edward Findleton: Two good young wrestlers, but Tyler Ford and his technical ability move on!

THE Casey Gains: Tyler Ford and his technical ability to not yell at the ref. But hey, we get to see him at Summit of Success next week.

Backstage, the Samurais of Power were on the ground meditating, when The Strange Crew approached, with Drizzles pushing a refreshment cart of drinks and Hawaii pushing a food cart of chicken.

Hawaii: Hello challengers! Sorry if we’re interrupting! But we come bearing gifts! Free food and drink!

The Samurais all stood up and examined the food, before deciding it seemed safe to consume.

Sensei Onaga: This is a very honorable action. We appreciate it. I am sorry I had to defeat your mentor, Vol-clown-o, last week.

Trickshot: You guys didn’t…hurt him after that loss, did you?

Hawaii and Drizzles both laughed heartily, before settling down. Hawaii put an arm around Trickshot and sighed, and ignored the question.

Hawaii: What’s most important, is that we have a fair, two on two tag match. No interference or rule breaking or pits that lead to sharpened bamboo for you to impale yourself on. Just a good ol’ fashion, normal, tag team church picnic wrestling match.

Ozzie Reagan: Wait. You uhh, you added in the word “church picnic” into that. That’s not a wrestling match.

Drizzles the Clown: We bring you treats, we bring you food. The Strange Crew never tries to be rude! Yet these tag titles you want to snatch, so we have decided on the match! So if you want this gold, you must go search, we’ll meet you next week at the picnic of Vol-Clown-O’s church!

With that, the Strange Crew walked off, leaving the Samurais looking uneasy.

THE Casey Gains: Oh great, a church picnic match, I don’t think that stipulation has been used since 1934!

Edward Findleton: Really? I didn’t know you were a historian of-

THE Casey Gains: I made it up, just like the stupid match stipulation! Let’s get to our next bout!

Crash MuscleGate came out next, with the entire MuscleGang accompanying him of Liam, St. Pierre, and Badger. His opponent Tom Shire followed.

Tom wrestled with a chip on his shoulder, eager to get his first win. However, the former World champion Crash seemed to be in control for most of the match. However, Crash jumped from the middle rope and Shire caught him, and surprised both Crash and himself with a powerbomb. Shire’s shock quickly went away into a broad smile, confident in his victory. He raised his hands in the air and put one boot on Crash’s chest. Crash didn’t stay down, and grabbed Shire’s leg knocking him down, then quickly got him locked into Physical Tear-apy, a Camel Clutch. Shire tapped out in 7:28, and the MuscleGang came to the ring to celebrate with him.

Edward Findleton: So it’s official! Next week we will see Crash Musclegate, Foster McDonald, Tyler Ford, and Phoenix in a number one contenders match for the National Championship!

THE Casey Gains: And a big question is, who will BE the National Champion? Leon Baron or Harvey Allison?!

When the ring cleared, The Shadow Hand emerged from the back, walking down to the ring clearly upset.

Jonah Webb: Last week, we were ambushed. And to that I say…bravo. You took the hand you were dealt and played it well. I can’t fault that. So one might say we are all even. We hurt these “champions” and they returned the favor. But the thing is, The Shadow Hand does not want to even. We strive to be ahead. So let’s settle it next week at Summit of Success. A 4 on 4 match. What do you say?

The City Council, Franco Mancini, and Douglas Brunswick all walked onto the stage.

Franco Mancini: You want us? Yeah, we’re game for that. We’re looking forward to adding another “L” in your little group's record book. See you then.

Edward Findleton: Well there’s another match for next week! Jonah Webb, Peter “Carnage” Horn, Jet Black, The Demon Lord Lenin May will take on Franco Mancini, Douglas Brunswick, Mayor Briggs, and The United States! That should be a wild one. But before we get to Summit of Success, we have one more match tonight, our main event!

The first entrances were Strawberry Bates Hill and the HAW World Champion Handsome Harvey Allison. Leon Baron followed next, and then came out Freezerman, looking great for his age in his classical light blue wrestling attire.

Baron started the match against Allison, but Allison immediately tagged to Hill. Leon Baron dominated Hill, but as he ran the ropes, Allison pulled the top rope down and Baron went flying. Allison and Hill then managed to make some quick tags and double team Leon Baron. Allison went to go and hit the Sitout Jawbreaker, but Baron grabbed his head and hit a desperation DDT.

The race for the hot tag was on, and Freezerman and Strawberry Bates Hill tagged in at the same time. Freezerman went through some of his classic moves onto Hill and went for the pin, but Allison broke it up.

Hill and Freezerman continued to wrestle, but when Hill got close to his own corner, Allison made a discreet tag. Freezerman continued to attack Hill, and threw him to the opposite turnbuckle where Baron was. Hill hit the corner hard, then stumbled out of the ring, and began to crawl up the ramp. Baron wouldn’t have it, and gave chase. With Freezerman focused on the fleeing Hill, Allison rushed in, and hit the Sitout Jawbreaker on Freezerman. He quickly pinned him before Baron could get back, and picked up the victory in 10:55.

Edward Findleton: And Harvey Allison pins Freezerman!

Allison fled the ring as Baron got back in. He walked back up the ramp holding the title high and laughing and pointing at his opponents.

Edward Findleton: He snuck out a win tonight, but it’s going to be a tough match against Leon Baron next week! We’re out of time tonight, but we’ll see you at Summit of Success! Goodnight!

HAW Lockup started with a promo shot of earlier in the day on the arena concourse featuring Sally Larkin, and a voiceover from Eve Solace:

Eve Solace: Welcome to HAW Lockup from Minneapolis, Minnesota! What you are seeing is behind the scenes footage from this afternoon’s commercial video shoot with Sally Larkin.

Sally Larkin: ….And if you buy your tickets now, you’ll see me defeat Penny “The Hammer” Downs! And it all happens at HAW’s Summit of Success!

Sally held the title up, when from the side, Penny Downs attacked her. Penny grabbed a camera and dropped it onto Sally’s stomach, then took a boom mic and swung it down onto her. Still holding the boom mic, Downs used it as a hook to scoop up the fallen World Title. She brought it closer to her face, but didn’t touch it, just stared at it as if in a trance.

Penny Downs: Soon. Soon I’ll have this back. It will belong to me again. It will be my property, and not in the hands of some thief!

Penny seemed to snap out of it. She flung the title onto Sally and walked away.

Back live in the arena, The Stable’s music started up and the three Stable members made their way to the ring.

Eve Solace: We’re about to have a big match here, Hazel Glover against the National Champion “The Marauder” Sophie Lester, but Athena, what do you make of Penny Down’s attack?

Athena: I think obsessive is the correct word, she really wants this title. And another attack on Sally Larkin, one week away from Summit of Success? She may not show up, but she still has to be feeling the effects of that match against Cate Stiles. This can all add up for The Hammer.

Hazel Glover got a pep talk from Zoey Chambers and Jenna Ingram, and Sophie Lester came out next. This warm up match for the champ was on, and Hazel looked like her usual nervous self, and seemed timid in her attacks on Lester. The Marauder eventually found an opening on Glover’s hesitation, took control, and delivered a Spinebuster to pick up the win in 8:13.

Lester gave a brief celebration, but Zoey came in to check on Hazel, while Jenna went face to face with Lester. Sophie Lester looked annoyed at this and gave Jenna a light elbow to shove her out of the way. Ingram grabbed Lester’s arm, pulling her back towards her, and went face to face again, now inches apart. Ingram gave Lester a hard push, knocking her out of the ring and through the ropes. Sophie Lester slammed her fist on the apron in anger and looked ready to get back in, hopping up onto the side of the ring, before seeing Zoey and Hazel. Counting the numbers, Lester backed off, retreating to the back.

Athena: Sophie Lester, tough as they come, but I think she knows there’s a chance this could have turned into a three on one.

Eve Solace: I have to agree. She knows next week, it’s just going to be one on one.

Backstage, announcer Juliet Sims stood between the two tag teams, Kherti Bhakta and Bethany Watts the tag team champions, and The Solo Girls Rachel and Crystal Cyclone.

Juliet Sims: We are one week away from a tag title match. Four great competitors are flanking me. I’ll start first with Crystal and Rachel. Do you think you can beat these two?

Crystal Cyclone: Do we think? We know we can. We can beat them tonight. We can beat them next week. We can beat them anytime. We won these titles once before, we’re going to do it again.

Bethany Watts: You know, you two have a lot of confidence. You did win these before, but it’s just a fact, you’ve done nothing since. While you go around calling Kherti and myself flukes, you two are nothing but one hit wonders from yesteryear.

Rachel: The fact is, you haven’t had one defense yet. You don’t know what it’s like to truly be a team. We’ve been honing our skills for years.

Kherti Bhakta: What a waste of prime years of your career then.

Both sides looked upset, but Juliet Sims held her arm out.

Juliet Sims: Ladies, no fighting till next week! Let’s just keep it civil.

Kherti Bhakta: Let’s do that. We’ll see you two in the ring.

Back in the arena, Alicia McCarthy and Moonlight walked down to the ring, warming up but also grabbing a microphone.

Alicia McCarthy: Last week, the Revellers called us out for a match, but we had prior engagements and could not attend the show. So this week, we challenge the Revellers!

Moonlight: That’s right, if they had any guts, they’d come out right now and face us!

Eve Solace: Well these fans in Minneapolis might be surprised, because you and I know that the Revellers are not their scheduled opponent.

At that point, the music of the Darzi’s started to play, and out came VCW’s Dina Dazi, Nadine Reza-Darzi, and Nazir Darzi.

Athena: Not the Revellers but the crowd is on their feet to see these girls! Dina and Nadine are sister-in-laws, with Dina’s brother Nazir married to Nadine. And let’s just say, there’s been some complicated history with this family.

Eve Solace: A lot of history, but Delilah went down to VCW and wanted them all as a package, and here they are!

Moonlight and Alicia both smirked, looking over confident as the match began. As the match started, Dina wrestled fair against Moonlight, but with Nadine being tagged in, Nazir started to try to interfere once Alicia McCarthy started to dominate Nadine.

Referee Brenda Moses had enough and threw Nazir out. Moonlight and Alicia taunted Nazir, when the Reveller’s music began playing. Moonlight immediately grabbed a nearby chair and took up off the ramp. With all the distractions, Nadine managed to tag in Dina. Dina got the jump on Alicia McCarthy and managed to eventually hit the Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex on her, and pin her in 9:51.

As the Darzi family celebrated their first win, the Revellers appeared on the jumbotron.

Teri: Alicia McCarthy, Moonlight, we accept your challenge.

Roo: We’ll see you next week at Summit of Success!

With that, Lockup went off the air as Moonlight looked frustrated at being duped.
