Dark Matches: El Espectro and El Termitas II defeated The Master Bassers (Dale Waters and Scott Fisher), Little Man defeated Connor Andrews

HAW kicked off in Las Vegas, and Franco Mancini and Douglas Brunswick were both in the ring, on opposite sides of each other.

Douglas Brunswick: Now that I see the camera is on, that the show has started, I’m looking directly at the HAW World Championship title…NOT the champion who is holding it. I know that you’re aware how hard it is to become a multi-time World Champion, but that gold…it’s calling to me. For me, HAW End of the Trail feels like Christmas morning. I just can’t wait for it…and I can’t wait to get my shiny new present. It didn’t matter if you held the title, if it was King Donovan, or anyone else. I’m walking out of the End of the Trail as champion.

Franco Mancini: Douglas…I’m gonna admit something. I don’t say this too often…but you…I’m afraid of you. You’re an amazing wrestler. You’re just flat out GOOD! That scares me. I don’t meet too many people I feel can go toe-to-toe with me in the ring. And as much as you want to be a multi-time champion, I want to hold this for the entire year, and complete that grand slam. So if I think you’re my equal in terms of skill…what am I going to hold onto? I thought about it, and I realized the answer is simply…experience. I’ve been in big match after big match after big match. You’ve been in the main event of End of the Trail once and…lost. I think the difference between us is, I can perform on the big stage. You? …You need more time. You’ll get there one day, but just not this year.

Franco extended a hand to Brunswick, but Brunswick did not accept. Franco shrugged and left the ring.

Edward FIndeleton:  What a start to our show, as each competitor in the HAW World Championship gave a scathing take down of their opponent! I’m sure we’ll see more of them as time goes on, but we’re in Las Vegas, Nevada, the home of Mitchell Row and Kitty Kayleen, and we’re going to actually take a look inside their home, live!

At the home of Mitchell and Kitty, Kitty was seen banging on a door.

Kitty Kayleen: Mitchell! Please! Open up! I can explain!

After a few moments, a disheveled Row opened the door.

Mitchell Row: What is there to explain?

Kitty Kayleen: That video last week…that isn’t what it seemed. You’re my husband, I love you, and you know who else loves you? Georgios. Neither of us would ever want you to hurt you! We both know how much pain professional wrestling can cause, and I was just trying to help him! And honestly, I thought it would make a great segment on this documentary and film crew you had! Kitty helping Georgios win a match, while Mitchell watches proudly, seeing Georgios grow up before his very eyes!

Mitchell Row: You’re being honest? This is all just…a misunderstanding?

Kitty Kayleen: Yes! And look who the person is trying to cause this strife! Badger! We fired him, he broke into our house, of course he wants to wreck our life! And we can all continue this, you, me, and Georgios!

Mitchell Row: ….The three of us really are the perfect couple. Kitty, I apologize for not talking to you sooner. I should have communicated better. I hope you can forgive me.

Kitty Kayleen: I forgive you Mitchell. Can you forgive me for keeping this secret, and agreeing, no more secrets?

Mitchell Row: Of course. I forgive you, and no more secrets!

The couple smiled and kissed, and the scene faded back to the arena.

THE Casey Gains: Beautiful! I’m so happy these two get to live happily ever after! That’s the ending to this we all deserved to see!

Edward Findleton: …I just don’t get those two. Oh well, we’ve got some singles action next!

Moonlight came out first, and she was carrying a laptop. Her opponent Witchmere began her entrance, but the music and jumbotron shut off halfway through. Moonlight was seen smirkingas she seemed to be typing on the laptop, hacking into the arena’s system, annoying Witchmere. The match was back and forth, but Moonlight picked up the victory after a Gourdbuster in 6:48.

Moonlight walked to the back,  and as she came through the curtain, saw Jessie Parran looking around.

Jessie Parran: Hey! Can you do me a favor? You know Sally? If you see her…can you let me know? I haven’t found her since last week, and I’ve been worried. She’s never…acted like that before.

Moonlight: Yeah…I’ll keep an eye out.

Jessie Parran: Thank you! It’s really appreciated!

With that Jessie walked off searching, as Moonlight opened her laptop and began to type again.

Pastor James' music began, and he came out down to the ring, looking angry.

Pastor James: Horn! Webb! Get out here. You crossed a line last week! You hurt Ivy, and you hurt my daughter, and I’m not leaving until I bury you two six feet deep!

James threw his mic down, paced around the ring, and eventually Peter “Carnage” Horn and Jonah Webb walked out. James motioned for the two to come in, and Webb gave a nod to Horn. As Horn entered the ring, James started attacking him. Pastor James got some good shots in on Peter Horn, but Jonah Webb hit James from behind. Horn and Webb started to double team James, when Cole Arcane came running out. With the numbers even, Arcane and James were able to clear the ring and send Webb and Horn flying out over the ropes. The two quickly retreated to the back. In the ring, a still enraged James glanced at Arcane, who seemed indifferent to James. James picked up the microphone that he threw previously, but before he could speak, Arcane yanked it from his hands.

Cole Arcane: I still think you’re a tool, but you’re not as big of one as those guys.

Arcane shoved the mic into James’ chest and left the ring, leaving James fuming and contemplating the encounter.

Edward Findleton: Well Pastor James, understandably very upset. Casey, I don’t think this is the end of this.

THE Casey Gains: Me neither, James literally wants Horn and Webb dead!

Edward Findleton: Which as we know-

The screen went static and cut, before fading into the setting of a spaceship. The camera then turned to two large cylindrical tubes filled with water. Inside were RJ Bu and Niko Green, unconscious and with tubes coming out of them. Glenny Pax then stepped in front of the camera.

Glenny Pax: Ah good…the metamorphosis is going well. I think these two will be complete in about a month. Then…The Visitors will be unstoppable. We will have the most powerful wrestlers, the tag titles, and even these two new pets, who will have the perfect blend of teamwork and viciousness to overcome all! Ah…I just can’t wait for an invasion. Good luck earthlings.

The camera cut back to the arena, where Penny “The Hammer” Downs was walking down to the ring, looking ready to speak.

Penny Downs: I’m still not happy. I’m coming down here, holding this title, and I still don’t feel like I should. I feel like I’m making a mockery of this division, because I won again. And I’m mad. I’m mad at Sekino, and I’m definitely mad at Kherti! Just…stop! Stop interfering in my business, everyone! And now these two have a number one contenders match next week to face me? I don’t care who it is, I’ll face anyone, all I want…is to win on my own. There. I said my part.

Penny threw the mic down, her statement made, and headed back.

Edward FIndleton: And Casey, that big match next week is going to be our main event!,\ Kherti Bhakta vs Sekino the Stunt Pilot, the winner getting a title shot!

THE Casey Gains: …I just want the audience to know I’m going to be reading these next few lines. Ahem. Wow, what an advertised match for next week. Who on earth knew titles could cause so much pain?

Edward Findleton: Glad you asked that Casey! We’re checking in backstage with some competitors in our main event tonight, being interviewed by Gregory Greystone!

Gregory Greystone: Hello ladies and gentlemen! I’m here with Frederic St. Pierre, and Strawberry Bates Hill!

The two men stepped into frame flanking Gregory.

Gregory Greystone: Gentlemen, both of you had tough losses last week. Frederic, how do you recover from that?

Frederic St. Pierre: Mon ami, I have wrestled many matches, and know how to lose. It is onto the next match, to start gaining momentum, to get back to achieving goals. Hill, I apologize but tonight, you are going to continue your losing streak. Nonetheless, I wish you all the luck.

Gregory Greystone: And Strawberry, last week, you let Harvey Allison become HAW National Champion. The question on everyone’s mind is…why?

Strawberry Bates Hill: Last week I was at my weakest. I feel sickened. I can’t even watch a replay of what happened. I just gave it my all, I thought I had it won and…he kicked out. I don’t know, I just broke down, fell to the pressure and…failed. But there’s always a chance to come back, to redeem yourself. St. Pierre, I plan to do that tonight!

Gregory Greystone: Thank you gentlemen! Good luck in your match tonight!

In the arena, The Stable’s music played and out came the tag champs, Jenna Ingram, Hazel Glover, and Zoey Chambers.

Zoey Chambers: Ok, so I’m really excited. Can we just announce it?

Hazel Glover: We were supposed to give a recap and a speech I thought?

Zoey Chambers: I know but it’s so exciting!

Jenna Ingram: Just do it.

Zoey Chambers: Ok! Everyone, guess what?! The Stable is defending the titles in a four way tag match at End of the Trail! Like, how cool is that?! It’s us, Summer Fun, The Solo Girls, and Nu Iota!

Jenna Ingram: Yeah, we just love our one in four chance.

Hazel Glover: Just so no one is misunderstanding, Jenna is being sarcastic.

Zoey Chambers: I KNOW it’s a champion’s disadvantage, but that’s a really big match! And also, each week, one of us is going to face a member of one of the teams! And that starts now…with me!

Zoey looked up at the ramp, and Isabella Dawson made her way down, accompanied by Natasha York.

Edward Findleton: So tonight, we’ve got a miniature “Stable vs Nu Iota” match taking place!

As the match started, Isabella Dawson tried to use various cheating techniques to get an advantage, but Zoey was ready for it all. Zoey Chambers was eventually able to predict enough illegal tactics that she took advantage, and successfully hit a Jumping DDT on Dawson to end the match in 7:24.

Edward Findleton: A solid win for Zoey, but she’s not even going to be in that big match at End of the Trail.

THE Casey Gains: The bigger news is, that’s a tough loss for Isabella Dawson. Nu Iota is going to need to regroup, but they got a few weeks left to correct the course.

Edward Findleton: Good point Casey! And with that, it’s about time for our main event of the evening!

Strawberry Bates Hill came down first, less energetic than his match in the previous woke, being more focused. Frederic St. Pierre meanwhile came down accompanied by Lovable Liam.

The match showcased the veteran expertise of St. Pierre, against the youthful energy of Hill. In the end, Frederic St. Pierre’s technical prowess came through and he defeated Strawberry Bates Hill after a Butterfly DDT.

Liam came into the ring after the match to celebrate with St. Pierre. As Hill got to his feet, St. Pierre extended his hand for a shake. Strawberry Bates Hill stared for a few moments, but decided to forego the post match handshake, heading to the back.

Edward Findleton: A disappointing night for Strawberry, he really needed this win tonight.

THE Casey Gains: Agreed, he needed that more than St. Pierre, but hey, congrats to the French man on a hard fought win.

Edward Findleton: Indeed! Well we’re just about out of time, so thank you for tuning in, and we’ll see you next week! Good night!
