Dark Matches: Men’s 25 Man Battle Royale: Asher Sutton, Dalton Elkins, Dr. Insidious, El Epsectro, El Termitas II, Fergus O’Toole, Foster McDonald, Fun Fight Machine, Jet Black, King Donovan, Lenin May, Leon Barron, Little Man, Mayor Briggs, Night Prince, Ninja, Mimic, Phoenix, Rainbow Jobber, Rough Hog Reid Harrison, Scarred Badger, Sean O’Toole, Sentinel, Sydney Mason, and The United States. Leon Barron won by last eliminating Mayor Briggs.

Women’s 10 Woman Battle Royale, the winner will receive an unnamed “advantage” during season 8 of HAW: Alicia McCarthy, Ashley Cannonball, Bethany Watts, The Executioness Elena Dubois, Lela LaCruse, Molly McDonald, Monica Stone, Phueng Ahunhai, Sophie Lester, Witchmere. Lela LaCruse won by last eliminating Elena Dubois.

The HAW theme started, and a large pyro kicked off the show.

Edward Findleton: Welcome to HAW, End of the Trail in Vancouver, British Columbia! It’s the finale of season 7 and the biggest show of the year! I’m Edward Findleton joined by THE Casey Gains and let us tell you about tonight! We’ve got championships on the line! Franco Mancini vs Douglas Brunswick for the HAW World Championship in our main event! Penny “The Hammer” Downs defending the HAW Women’s Championship against Sekino the Stunt Pilot and Kherti Bhakta! Frederic St. Pierre challenges Harvey Allison for the National Championship, and a four way women’s tag match, as The Stable defends their tag titles against The Solo Girls, Summer Fun, and Nu Iota!

THE Casey Gains: And in addition to titles, we’ve got some deeply personal matches. Cole Arcane and Pastor James face Peter “Carnage” Horn and Jonah Webb, The Samurais of Power will try to save the world from The Visitors, Jessie Parran will attempt to free her friend Smiling Sally, and of course, the most heart wrenching story I’ve ever seen, a blow off match between Mitchell Row and Georgios Stanellis!

Edward Findleton: And before we even start with this action, there is a special announcement from the owner of HAW, Freezerman!

Freezerman’s music started up, and he made his way down to the ring.

Freezerman: Thank you! I don’t want to take up too much time, I know all of you fans watching are excited to see some wrestling! But tonight, I have one of the biggest announcements in HAW history. As we culminate our seventh season at End of the Trail, I’m already planning for next year.  As important as it is to get all of you HAW fans hyped up and ready to cheer, this is just as important for the wrestlers backstage. Because I am officially announcing the main event of next year’s HAW End of the Trail!

THE Casey Gains: Already!?

Freezerman: The main event of End of the Trail 2025 will be a World title match that I’m calling…Destroy All Wrestlers!  Eight wrestlers will be competing, where friendships will end, rivalries will grow, and only one will come out the champion. To the roster, I say this: start making your mark tonight. I will be choosing the participants, and I will take every criteria into account. Wins and losses, crowd reactions, dramatic storylines, merchandise sales, entertainment value, in ring ability, potential! You have one year to make a name for yourself, to show the world what you’re made of. Every match, every word you say into a microphone, every moment counts! I expect all wrestlers to give it their all next year, because not only do you emerge the champion, you also etch your legacy into the history of professional wrestling forever! ….And if that’s not enough of an incentive..there will be a one million dollar bonus awarded to the winner! One year to earn your spot…one match to claim the biggest prize ever. HAW wrestlers, this is your chance to show why you are the best of the best…good luck!

Freezerman left the ring, and while heading up the ramp, the music of Harvey Allison started up. The National Champion made his way out along with Strawberry Bates HIll. Allison posed for the crowd, but also made eye contact with Freezerman. As Freezerman tried to walk past Allison, Allison stepped in front of him, pointing to the National Championship with an arrogant smile.

Edward Findleton: We have our first match of the night, the National Championship match but I think Allison is already starting to try and petition for next year's World Championship match!

THE Casey Gains: All of these guys will need to keep that in the back of their head, but everyone competing tonight also needs to stay focused on their opponents. I’m not sure Allison should be cutting off the boss right now, he really should be making sure his mindset is ready.

As Allison and Hill got to the ring, the lights dimmed, and St. Pierre’s music began. Silhouettes of people were seen moving around the top of the ramp. As Allison tried to make sense of what was going on, the lights turned on. With mostly extras dressed in 1700’s period clothing, a recreated pose of the painting “Liberty Leading The People” was revealed. The one exception was Lovable Liam in the place of Liberty, but wearing a black and white striped shirt and a beret, and instead of holding the French flag, a baguette. Liam then motioned with the baguette, and St. Pierre emerged from the scene. He was much more serious than Liam, but did smile at him and seemed to thank him for the entrance. St. Pierre continued down, as Liam followed behind him.

Edward Findleton: A unique entrance for the longest reigning HAW National Champion.

THE Casey Gains: I’m guessing that’s mostly Liam’s idea, but you bring up the point about the longest reigning champion. Whenever I think of the National Championship, St. Pierre is the first guy that comes to mind. He’s had two title reigns with that, but he really only lost it once, when he was forced to vacate the title after signing with NRWL. If Harvey Allison can defeat him tonight, I think THAT will get Freezerman’s attention more than any pose can.

The crowd was ready for the first action of the night, and erupted in cheers as the bell rang. St. Pierre had a fast paced early start, with take downs and arm drags keeping Allison off balance. Allison would eventually gain back some momentum, and slow the match down.

It was a back and forth battle in the ring, but outside the ring, Strawberry Bates Hill seemed to be getting nervous. At one point, he tried but failed to trip St. Pierre, which got admonishing from referee Tom Hunter. Lovable Liam also saw it, and rushed over and attacked Hill with a baguette. After a solid crack across the face breaking the bread in two, Hill seemed out of it.

In the ring, neither man could seem to put the other way. After each man traded near falls, St. Pierre finally started to get on an offensive roll. At that point, Hill had started to recover, and this time jumped on the ring apron. St. Pierre gave a quick glance but thought better to engage, and instead continued attacking Allison. Tom Hunter again went over to Hill and started to try and enforce order, but the break from the referee's eyes allowed Harvey Allison to quickly deliver a low blow to St. Pierre. As Liam attacked Hill a second time and engaged in a brawl, Tom Hunter turned around to find Allison rolling up St. Pierre. Allison grabbed St. Pierre’s tights, and managed to get the count to three in 8:48.

As the music of Harvey Allison started up for his victory, he quickly rolled out to grab the National championship.

Edward Findleton: And Harvey Allison retains…and I think it’s safe to say, he stole that victory, and is trying to get out of here before any decision reversal can happen!

In the ring an in-pain St. Pierre pleaded his case to Tom Hunter, but the match had been officially called.

THE Casey Gains: Well it’s official, Harvey Allison remains champion, and while not the prettiest win, he’s off to the best start of everyone trying to be in this Destroy All Wrestlers match.

Edward Findleton: Well there’s no time to waste, as the ring clears, it’s time to get to our Women’s Tag Team Championship match! This will be an elimination tag, with two competitors active!

Summer Fun, Maple Blossom and Daisy Fields came out first, wearing matching tye-dye shirts and flower crowns. Nu Iota followed, with Natasha York and Isabella Dawson, with each woman shotgunning a beer at the top of the stage. Then came the Solo Girls, Rachel and Crystal Cyclone, who did not try for any sort of elaborate entrance, and seemed mildly annoyed at the beer on the ground.

With three teams in the ring, the jumbotron read “Welcome to Vancouver” and a montage started up of The Stable taking in Vancouver tourist attractions, such as hiking, kayaking, seeing a hockey game, visiting filming locations of popular shows, and enjoying local foods. Eventually The Stable emerged on the stage, with Jenna Ingram and Hazel Glover accompanied by Zoey Chambers, wearing blue and green flannel ring gear with their titles.

THE Casey Gains: And here comes the champions, sucking up to- I mean, honoring the fans here tonight.

As all teams were prepping in the ring, there seemed to be a discussion of which teams would start. Eventually the Stable and Summer Fun agreed to begin the match, as Nu Iota and Solo Girls waited on their ring post.

Hazel Glover had a solid start against Daisy Fields, but Daisy had enough and tagged in Crystal Cyclone, much to her annoyance. Crystal seemed to want no part of the match early on, or Hazel Glover, and seemed to refuse to fight her.

Edward Findleton: Can referee Brenda Moses Disqualify a wrestler for not wrestling?

THE Casey Gains: I don’t think there’s any “delay of game” penalty in the wrestling rule book, we can be here all night.

After the crowd started to boo, an annoyed Crystal exited the ring and walked over to Zoey Chambers, and seemed to have a discussion, with Crystal pointing at the various wrestlers in the ring. Zoey looked reluctant, but eventually broke away from Crystal, called Jenna and Hazel over, and seemed to relay a message.

Edward Findleton: End of the Trail, folks! The biggest action of the year!

With understanding, Hazel rolled into the ring, and immediately tagged in Natasha York, and Crystal wasted no time in attacking York. A clear strategy started to take place, as Crystal wasn’t isolating Natasha York in just one corner, but the side of the ring with The Solo Girls and The Stable. York fought as hard as she could, but couldn’t seem to make a tag. Rachel meanwhile left her corner and attack Isabella Dawson. Crystal Cyclone hit a Moonsault on Natasha York and pinned her, eliminating Nu Iota.

As Rachel got back to position, Crystal tagged her in, and pointed to Summer Fun. Maple Blossom reluctantly got into the ring to be the legal competitor, but quickly left and also went outside to speak to Zoey. Maple seemed to now be having a negotiation, and then went under the ring, pulling out a paper bag that was simply labeled “Legal in Canada.” Maple handed it to Zoey and the two shook hands, and Zoey quickly relayed a message to her Stable team mates. In the ring, Rachel was now complaining to Brenda Moses.

Edward Findleton: Well it looks like we had an alliance before, and maybe a new alliance has just formed?

THE Casey Gains: It’s called a bribe, and we all know what’s in that bag! Referee Brenda Moses should disqualify Summer Fun, will someone please think of the sponsors?!

As Maple and Rachel were finally getting ready to fight, Brenda Moses stepped between the two to prevent it, then seemed to be listening to her ear piece and nodded. She pointed to Zoey Chambers and the paper bag, demanding it. A sad and reluctant Zoey started to hand it to Brenda, but Rachel quickly snatched it away. She reached into the bag and held the contents up high, pointing at Maple Blossom and motioning for her to get out of the ring, then looking at Brenda Moses, who simply shrugged and pointed up at the contents. As Rachel looked up, she was holding a bag of milk.

Edward Findleton: Good lord! You can’t be seen with that in the USA! This image can ruin Rachel’s career!

Rachel was furious, and instead ripped the top off and threw the milk onto Maple Blossom. Maple was blinded and shocked, and Rachel quickly hit the Pump Handle Suplex on her, pinning her.

It was now down to The Stable vs The Solo Girls, and Jenna Ingram finally entered the ring.

Edward Findleton: Crystal Cyclone and Rachel, definitely having a quiet year but the first ever tag team champions are actually making a big impact tonight, and are three quick seconds away from being champions.

Jenna used her power to wear Rachel down, but Rachel was able to make a tag to Crystal. While Jenna was doing well in the match, The Solo Girls were making frequent tags, getting breathers in while forcing Jenna to slowly start to wear down. Eventually Crystal Cyclone managed to reverse a powerbomb into a facebuster, and Jenna seemed out of it.

Edward Findleton: There might be new champions! Jenna Ingram has looked the most vulnerable we’ve ever seen her!

Crystal tagged in Rachel, and Rachel started a fresh attack on Jenna Ingram. Every slam and strike seemed to just drain whatever minimal energy Jenna had out of her as Rachel dominated. Rachel continued her offense, launching off the ropes for momentum to deliver a few kicks. As she kept launching off the ropes, one of the times Hazel finally left her ring post and hit Rachel’s back with a knee. Rachel was definitely hurt, but as she turned to Hazel, Rachel looked more frustrated, and Hazel’s eyes went wide in fear. Rachel started to approach her when her arm was grabbed by Jenna, whipping Rachel into the opposite corner, and allowing Jenna to finally tag into Hazel Glover.

Edward Findleton: The Stable finally has a fresh body!

THE Casey Gains: Hazel is never the one Jenna relies on, can she pull this off?!

A nervous Hazel got into the ring, and as a hurt but angry Rachel approached her, Hazel delivered a spinebuster. Crystal rushed into the ring, but was also met by a spinebuster from Hazel. As the crowd cheered, Hazel Glover’s confidence seemed to grow. Rachel and Crystal kept getting up together, and were hit by multiple double clothes lines from Hazel. Glover finally tossed Crystal outside of the ring and hit Rachel with a Snapmare Driver. Hazel went for the cover and picked up the win in 13:19, defending the titles successfully.

Edward Findleton: And The Stable does it. Hazel Glover and Jenna Ingram successfully defend the titles! What a match, and I need to say-

The lights and music cut out, and instead the theme of the VCW team, The Dystopians started up, and out came Dark Raven and Void-N.

Edward Findleton: The Dystopians?!

THE Casey Gains: These two debuted this summer in VCW, and made a big impact attacking Zoey Chambers!

Zoey wasn’t going to get taken by surprise this time, and whether bravely or foolishly, she charged up the ramp towards Dark Raven and Void-N. Raven and Void got hit a few times but quickly over powered her, and launched Zoey off the stage and through a table. The pair made their way to the ring and while an injured Jenna and match weary Hazel were facing them down, they were clearly at a disadvantage. The Dystopians and Stable brawled but the Dystopians easily overtook the Stable. Jenna and Hazel each got hit with double team moves, leaving them out cold. Dark Raven and Void-N grabbed the titles, held them up for a few moments, then tossed them to the ground before exiting.

Edward Findleton: That’s quite a statement from these two wrestlers with this debut. We know HAW will be split between a men and women’s show next year, and it looks like The Dystopians are making their intentions know for the Spring.

THE Casey Gains: This really spices up the tag scene. We saw four great teams tonight but Dark Raven and Void-N have shown to anyone who has seen them, they have potential to be greats.

Edward Findleton: And as one match involving tag title ends, we’re going to head to another tag title match next, except it doesn’t involve tag titles!

The lights in the arena went out, and the music of Glenny Pax began. Descending from above the middle of the ring from the ceiling of the arena was what looked like a flying saucer. It slowly landed in the ring and opened up, and out walked Glenny Pax, Cyberhemoth, “The Insomniac” Kenneth Cobb and the Venator. At the saucer went back to the top of the arena, they looked up to the ramp, and on a platform above the stage were two human sized tubes, which seemed to have an unconscious RJ Bu and Niko Green inside.

Edward Findleton: Bu and Green are in those stasic chambers. The Visitors are looking to gather an army…after tonight, they might have Bu, Green, The Samurais and Kyle Higgins. That can be an unstoppable force, and they may never lose the tag team titles.

The Samuais of Power music started up, and some martial artists came out onto the stage in karate uniforms, doing various martial art strikes. The Samurais of Power, Sensei Onaga, Ozzie Reagan, and Trickshot, along with Kyle Higgins, came out. They stood at the top of the stage, and each put on a pair of sunglasses. Onaga then pointed at one of the martial artists, and the others quickly grabbed him, with Kyle Higgins putting him in a sleeper hold. As the martial artist passed out, they took his uniform off and it was revealed he was wearing a Visitors uniform outfit underneath. They four nodded and continued to the ring

THE Casey Gains: So unlike our last match with eight competitors, we were told this match isn’t going to be a tag match, this is a four on four match, all men legal. All it takes is one pinfall. Dennis Thompson is going to have his hands full trying to keep track of what’s going on.

The two teams stood on opposite sides of the rings, staring each other down. The bell rang, and the two sides charged at each other, each wrestler pairing up. Cyberhemoth went to Ozzie, Trickshot to Cobb, Higgins to The Venator, and Onaga to Pax. Some of the action spilled outside the ring, some into the corners.

Edward Findleton: A slam by Cyberhemoth! A kick from Onaga! Forget Dennis Thompson, this is tough for me!

The chaos continued, with each side trying to get pin attempts, but allies coming in to break up the fall. Glenny started to get frustrated, and motioned to the back. A bunch of Visitor minions ran out from the back, and started lowering the stage the chambers were above. The Visitors got the chambers with Bu and Green down, and started to try and push them to the back of the arena. Running out on the stage to stop them was Jack Trailor and Danny Miller, who started destroying all the Visitor minions.

Edward Findleton: Higgins said they’d bring in allies, and it looks like he got Trailor and Miller! Long time enemies of The VIsitors and in Jack’s case, former best friend of Glenny!

As the Visitors were cleared, Trailer and Miller stood on guard at the chambers. In the ring, Cobb tried to attack Onaga, but he reversed and hit the Headscissors DDT. Onaga looked like he was going to cover Cobb, but Cobb started to move, and began holding his ear. Cobb screamed in pain, clutching his ear, and seemed to pull out a long parasite.

THE Casey Gains: I’m going to vomit!

Cobb looked around confused, getting his bearings. He looked at Onaga, then at the parasite, before standing up, and stepping on it. Cobb then gave a quick handshake to Onaga.

Edward Findleton: I think Kenneth Cobb is free! He’s with the Samurais now!

Outside the ring, Trickshot and Ozzie double teamed The Venator. Trickshot hit a Northern Lights Driver, and Ozzie hit a Butterfly Backbreaker, greatly hurting The Venator. Cobb then rushed out of the ring, and stood in the way of Trickshot and Ozzie. He grabbed the mask on The Venator and started trying to pry it off. After a few moments of struggle, the mask came off.

THE Casey Gains: What the hell?!

Edward Findleton: Casey! That’s…that’s VCW wrestler Tyler Ford! He disappeared mysteriously earlier this year!

Tyler Ford also seemed to start to take in his surroundings. Cobb, Ozzie, and Trickshot all pointed over to Cyberhemoth and Glenny. Tyler stood up, and the four ran towards The Visitors and attacked them.

Edward Findleton: It’s effectively a 6 on 2 now!

All 8 men were in the ring now, and a now beaten down Cyberhemoth walked right into an Inverted Front Powerslam from Kyle Higgins. Cyberhemoth still managed to get to his feed, only for Cobb to jump on his back and lock in a Sleeper Hold. Cyberhemoth eventually fell to his knees and passed out.

Glenny now realized he was all alone, and surrounded. He tried to run but Tyler Ford clotheslined him, then locked in Cattle Mutilation. Glenny started tapping, but Dennis Thompson was pointing at the 4 Samurais as the legal men. The four each hit their finisher onto Glenny, as he experienced a Northern Lights Driver, Butterfly Backbreaker, Inverted Front Powerslam, and finally a Northern Lights Driver from Onaga. Onaga covered, and picked up the three count in 10:26.

Edward Findleton: The Samurais of Power did it! They saved the world!

All six men celebrated, but quickly ran up the ramp. Trailer and Miller had started to open the chambers, and slowly, Bu and Green started to wake up. The Samurais seemed to catch them up on everything, and Bu and Green appeared thankful. At the top of the stage, all ten wrestlers stood side by side, and raised their arms up for the crowd.

In the ring, the saucer had lowered again, and a hurt Cyberhemoth managed to walk over and pick up Pax before entering it again, with the saucer rising to the ceiling once more.

THE Casey Gains: The Visitors aren’t dead, and they’re still champs…but after tonight, I’d say they’re greatly wounded.

Edward Findleton: Well folks, we need to switch gears, as we go from mind controlling parasites and mind controlled alien robot masks with freedom on the line, to something completely different: Hacked mind control dolls with freedom on the line!

At the top of the ramp, an inflatable doll house had been set up. As Smiling Sally’s music started, the dollhouse started to deflate, and Smiling Sally was seen slashing it was a knife. She walked down to the ring accompanied by Moonlight and her laptop. Noticeable on Sally’s neck was a collar with a green light on the front of it.

Jessie Parran followed, but had no elaborate entrance. Her whole walk down to the ring, she appeared conflicted.

Edward Findleton: Jessie doesn’t look ready for this match, Casey.

THE Casey Gains: She doesn’t, but if what Moonlight says is true, that Jessie can potentially free her with…trauma, then she has to try.

Before the match started, Jessie made a few pleas to Sally, but Sally had a vacant stare ahead, not listening to anything Jessie said. As the match started, a switch seemed to flip in Sally, and immediately started attacking Jessie.

Sally controlled the early portion of the match, showcasing her usual dominant performance.

Edward Findleton: Pardon my pun, but one might say Sally is “toying” with Jessie right now.

The attacks continued, until Jessie managed to block a suplex and reverse it. Jessie started to get on a roll, and as she delivered more offense, the green light on Sally’s collar started to flash. Jessie kept it up, and managed to hit the Suplex Piledriver on Sally. The green light suddenly turned red.

Outside the ring, Moonlight started to furiously type on her laptop. Jessie bent down to check on Sally, begging for her to go back to normal. Sally seemed unconscious, when the light suddenly went green again and Sally’s hand shot up, gripping Jessie’s throat. New power seemed to come over Sally, and she began choking Jessie. Before referee Brenda Moses could call a DQ, she released the grip, but quickly grabbed Jessie and hit the Tornado Bomb. Sally went for the pin, and picked up the three count in 9:42.

With the match won, Sally immediately went back to choking Jessie. Moonlight came in the ring and stomped on Jessie, while Brenda Moses failed to get the two women off her. The crowd erupted in cheers moments later, as Drizzles the Clown and Hawaii came running down the ramp for the save, as Drizzles held a 2x4 with a nail through it, and Hawaii had a stun gun. See this, Moonlight grabbed her laptop, and Sally released her grip on Jessie. A cautious Drizzles and Hawaii tended to Jessie as Moonlight and Sally retreated to the back.

Edward Findleton: Jessie Parran almost had it, I think. That light went red and Moonlight looked panicked!

THE Casey Gains: But she didn’t, there was not enough trauma inflicted tonight. Jessie got soft, and paid Smiling Sally’s price.

Edward Findleton: Well speaking of trauma, Casey, I need to warn you about this match. It might be very traumatic for you. It’s Mitchell Row vs Georgios Stanellis.

THE Casey Gains: I’m a professional Edward. As sad as this story is, I’m going to be able to get through this.

On the jumbotron, a limousine was seen pulling into the arena. Mitchell Row’s music started up, and he stepped out with Kitty Kayleen, holding an expensive new purse. Row’s camera crew was seen following him around the back. As he approached the curtain to the ramp, pyro went off, and Row stepped onto the stage with Kitty.

Edward Findleton: Well, tonight we get an end to this love triangle.

THE Casey Gains: It’s not even a triangle. It’s a family member betraying Row’s trust!

Georgios Stanellis’ theme started up, and he came to the ring in a special Spartan armor attire. In the ring, Row seemed unimpressed and rolled his eyes.

With each man finally ready, the match began. It had a slow start, with each competitor sizing up their opponent, with cautious strikes here and there. Row managed to get the early upper hand with a well placed eye rake, and the match started to pick up. As Row used his strength to hit powerful slams, Stanellis would often be able to counter just enough to stop Row’s momentum, so Stanellis could focus on some more technical holds to slow the match down.

As Row wanted to try and end the match and go for a Fireman’s Carry Slam, Georgios managed to reverse it into a DDT. Stanellis quickly grabbed Row’s legs and locked in the Boston Crab.

Edward Findleton: Row looks to be in trouble! Is he going to tap?!

As Row struggled, Kitty Kayleen stood up on the ring apron. Referee Tom Hunter rushed over to get her down. At that point, Row used his leg strength and pushed Stanellis off, who’s momentum brought him right into Hunter, knocking Hunter down. As Stanellis checked on the ref, Kitty rushed to check on Mitchell Row. She slowly managed to help him to his feet but as they both turned, Stanellis was ready and waiting.

Kitty put her hands up in front of Stanellis, urging him to stop. Stanellis hesitated, and Kitty seemed to be talking to both men.

Edward Findleton: Is there…an agreement happening in the ring?

THE Casey Gains: I hope so. This would be the Hollywood ending we deserve. The happily ever after. The three of them walk off into the sunset.

Kitty remained a mediator, and motioned for both men to shake hands. Stanellis slowly extended his hand, and after a few reluctant moments, Row accepted and brought Georgios in for a hug.

THE Casey Gains: A draw! There we go! Match of the year right here Edward!

As they broke the hug, Stanellis clapped for Row. Kitty smiled at both men until without warning, turned to row and kicked him hard with a low blow. Row fell to his knees, looking up at Kitty in pain and shock. Kitty grabbed Stanellis’ head, and began to make out with him.

Edward Findleton: Can you believe this?! Casey? ….Casey? Folks, Casey Gains is absolutely stunned right now.

Kitty finally broke off the kiss, and grabbed Row. With the assistance of Stanellis, she managed to hit her Cravate Suplex onto Row as Tom Hunter started to come too. Stanellis covered Row, and picked up the three count in 10:19.

Stanellis and Kitty celebrated with more kissing, standing right over him. Kitty then reached into her purse and pulled out some papers, and placed them on his chest. As the camera zoomed in on his chest, it showed that they were divorce papers. Georgios picked Kitty up, and carried her out of the ring.

Edward Findleton: Well that was a turn of events…folks, we’re going to go to our VCW Recap, give Casey and Mitchell a moment to recover. You good with that Casey? Casey? Uhh, to the recap!

The scene changed to the VCW ring, where announcers Su Jun, Eve Solace, and Chet Citrus all stood in the ring.

Su Jun: Thank you Edward, Casey, and HAW fans for welcoming us to End of the Trail! Exciting action going down tonight, but we’ve had some exciting times down here in VCW, isn’t that right?

Chet Citrus: You better believe it baby! We got some highlights here, in a tag team championship match! The Lumberjacks trying for a second time to beat The School Boys, and Boom Boom hits a splash, Thundercrack hits a splash! Those School Boys are out, and we have new tag champions, the Lumberjacks!

Eve Solace: And we’ve also had some multi woman tag matches going on, The Revelers, Terri and Roo, The Executioness Elena Dubois, and Sophie Lester the Marauder facing Alicia McCarthy, Harriet Snow, and The Dystopians Dark Raven and Void-N. It was all over the place in this match, but Sophie Lesterr pinned Harriet Snow for her team getting a victory! Additionally, in the VCW Women’s Championship match, Brooke Bolt managed to overcome all the adversity, defeating Makayla Wren and essentially, her mother Susan, to defend the title successfully.

Su Jun: With Susan in there, it was practically a handicap match, well done. And of course, Leon Barron and Jenson West went head to head for the VCW Men’s Championship. This was hard hitting, this was two powerful men giving it their all. In the end, Leon Barron continued his run of dominance and defended the title. We’ve got more shows coming in the future, but for now, let’s get back to some HAW action! Take it away Edward and Casey!

Edward Findleton: Thank you! Casey seems to have recovered, so let’s get to another personal match, Jonah Webb and Peter “Carnage” Horn vs Cole Arcane and Pastor James!

The lights in the arena dimmed, and a fog appeared on the stage, as a light projection of spider webs illuminated the entrance ramp and ring. Jonah Webb emerged from the fog and stood there, until a large pyro went off. The web projections “burnt” up and Peter “Carnage” Horn walked out next to Webb, as the two walked in unison to the ring.

As they prepared for their opponents, Cole Arcane’s theme started up, and he came out with Pastor James. No elaborate entrance was set up, and there still seemed to be some minor tension between the two until each man gave a nod of understanding to each other, and rushed down to the ring. Webb and James started brawling, while Horn locked up with Arcane. The match had yet to officially start, and referee Dennis Thompson tried to corral the men into their corners. Instead James managed to launch Webb outside the ring, and Thompson was able to get James into a corner. While Horn and Arcane continued brawling, Thompson seemed to deem it close enough to a legal start, and the match officially began.

Arcane and Horn traded a couple blows, when suddenly Arcane grabbed Horn and hit the Running Bulldog.

Edward Findleton: Shades of Mancini and Horn from Downtown Disaster! This can be it right here!

Arcane covered, but Horn kicked out at the last moment. As James and Webb got to their corner, Horn managed to hold Arcane off enough to tag in Webb. A fresher Jonah Webb was able to to use reversals to gain the upper hand, outthinking Cole Arcane, but also wasn’t able to prevent a tag to James. As Pastor James entered the ring, he was all anger, ready to get his frustration out. Webb played defensive and took some of the attacks, but was able to occasionally get in a jab to slow James down. Pastor James delivered a strong powerslam to Webb, and as he went to grab him, Jonah Webb spit in the eye of James. It momentarily stunned James, giving Webb enough time to tag in Horn, while James tagged Arcane so he can recover.

Arcane and Horn stood face to face again in a staredown, neither man showing any fear. As the staredown went on, there was commotion at ringside as a fan in a hoodie hopped the barricade. Security from around the ring quickly apprehended the fan, and referee Tom Hunter went to check with security to make sure things were ok.

THE Casey Gains: What a loser, pays for the ticket and has to get sent home early! This is why you fans stay in your seats!

With all the distraction on the first fan, a second hooded fan came from the opposite side of the ring, near the corner Jonah Webb was standing. The fan elbowed Webb in the back of the knee, falling to the mat. The fan then took a pair of handcuffs out, put one end on Webb, and the other on the ring rope. They pulled their hood down to reveal Dixie Boyle, and the crowd erupted. She hid under the ring just as security pulled the hood down of the other fan, who was revealed to be Ivy Clarke.

Edward Findleton: And now Jonah Webb is the one handcuffed, and Horn is out numbered!

Arcane started attacking Horn, and quickly started to overwhelm him. Horn went to tag Webb but saw he unable to get free, leaving Arcane able to hit a second Running Bulldog. Arcane then made the tag to James, who sized Horn up, and delivered a Cobra Clutch Slam.

Edward Findleton: That should do it!

Instead of going for the pin though, Pastor James still had rage in his eyes. He picked Horn up again, and hit another Cobra Clutch Slam. He finally covered, and got the victory for his team in 11:18.

With Horn down, Arcane and James turned their attention to Jonah Webb. Webb knew he was trapped, and started begging Pastor James and Cole Arcane. Pastor James motioned for a microphone, and the ring crew handed him.

Pastor James: The good lord hears your pleas for mercy! Jonah Webb, as a sinner, I’m happy to say that I can look in your eyes and I say…I forgive you.

A look of relief washed over Webb’s face, and he breathed a sigh of relief.

Pastor James: …But she doesn’t.

Dixie Boyle emerged back from under the ring, holding a cane. Arcane ripped Webb’s shirt off exposing his back, and Dixie Boyle started going to town on Webb. His back started to turn red from the welts, even bleeding in some cases. After getting her aggression out, she finally threw the cane down and rolled into the ring. Pastor James extended a hand to Arcane, and the two men. James then turned his attention to Dixie Boyle, and the two embraced in a hug.

Edward Findleton: And there we have it! Pastor James, Cole Arcane! They defeat Webb and Horn, and atleast for tonight, a real family goes home happy!

THE Casey Gains: You just had to say that last part, didn’t you?

Edward Findleton: Of course! Well as we get past some personal drama, we need to switch over to championship drama. The HAW Women’s Champion Penny “The Hammer” Downs doesn’t believe herself as a worthy champion. Tonight, she defends against Sekino the Stunt Pilot and Kherti Bhakta.

Kherti Bhakta’s theme started up, and she came out riding an animatronic float of a white tiger. Kherti would be the first competitor with no smiles, and all business, knowing the high stakes of this match.

As Kherti arrived in the ring, the jumbotron showed a drone shot of the outside of the arena, before lowering itself down to the parking lot, where Sekino the Stunt Pilot stood. The drone shot hovered above her as she began her journey from the parking lot into the arena. The view continued as The Stunt Pilot entered, and as she made her way down the ramp, various drones modeled to look like various planes whizzed by her doing loops, barrel rolls, and other maneuvers. There were close calls but none managed to hit her as she got to the ring.

Penny “The Hammer” Downs music then started up, and she came out with the HAW Women’s Championship and a sledgehammer. Penny walked to the side of a stage and jumped off, where crew members where packing up the White Tiger float. She took the sledgehammer and started destroying it. Once that was destroyed, she found various drones near by that had landed, and smashed those as well. Satisfied, Penny made her way to the ring.

Edward Findleton: Sometimes in wrestling, matches are purely business…sometimes, they’re personal. This one is personal, as Penny Downs faces her biggest opponent, herself.

THE Casey Gains: …And Kherti Bhakta and Sekino The Stunt Pilot. These two are the very best.

As the match started, the three women approached, all in a staredown. Penny showed no respect to either woman, slapping Kherti first, then slapping Sekino. The two challengers exchanged a glance, then both simultaneously attacked Penny.

THE Casey Gains: Well Penny, you finally got what you asked for! You managed to make Kherti and Sekino work together!

The unusual pairing of Sekino and Kherti continued a systematic beat down on Penny. The alliance lasted enough to take Penny out for a while, but naturally at one point, Sekino tried to blindside Kherti, but Kherti was ready.

Kherti and Sekino duked it out, going toe to toe like their classic battles and simply beating the hell out of each other. This allowed Penny to regain her foothold, and rejoin the fray.

All three women started to trade momentum, getting occasional one on ones, often when either Kherti or Sekino would toss Penny over the ropes and out of the rings, only for her to come back in a minute later. At one point, Sekino managed to hit the Moonstomp on Kherti, but Penny broke the pin up. Minutes later after Penny was beaten down and tossed out, Kherti hit the Straight Jacket German Suplex on Sekino, but Penny broke that up too.

Kherti and Sekino had gotten annoyed again, and seemed to have a brief conversation, making another brief alliance. The two attacked Penny, and Kherti motioned for Sekino to get in position. The Stunt Pilot began to climb the ropes, readying for a Moonstomp. Kherti lifted Penny but up by her arms and got her ready for the Straight Jacket German Suplex. Kherti Bhakta tried to lift Penny, but she managed to reverse it, struggling out of her grasp and landing behind her. Penny pushed Kherti headfirst into the turnbuckle, which caused Sekino to lose her balance.

The Stunt Pilot fell to the ring on her feet, but was quickly grabbed by Penny Downs, who hit the Single Underhook Facebuster. A disoriented Kherti Bhakta turned back towards Penny just as she made her way to her feet, and Penny hit Kherti with the Single Underhook Facebuster too. Penny got on top of Kherti, and covered. Referee Brenda Moses counted to three in 20:16.

Edward Findleton: Unbelievable!

Penny quickly rolled off Kherti, exhausted and in shock.

THE Casey Gains: The Hammer has finally done it. She defeated Sekino, she defeated Kherti, in a match, all on her own. Well done, Penny Downs.

As Brenda Moses handed the title to Penny Downs, she clutched it close, and seemed to start crying, overcome with emotion. She finally composed herself enough, climbed the ropes, and held the title up for the first time with pride.

As Penny got down from the ropes, Kherti Bhakta had managed to get back to her feet as Sekino exited. Kherti and Penny kept a cautious distance as they stared each other down, and Kherti finally extended her hand for a shake. Penny wasted no time, accepting the hand shake. Kherti gave Penny a pat on the back and left the ring to let Penny have her moment.

Edward Findleton: That one is going to go down in the history books as a classic. Folks, that could have been our main event…but we have one more match. The HAW World Championship. The Champion Franco Mancini, the 5 time world champion. He’s held the title for 371 days, but has one goal, to defend it successfully at all four HAW major events, the grand slam, something no one has ever done. The challenger, Douglas Brunswick, a former champion in himself, is looking to shake this image of not rising to the occasion. He’s had a great year, he’s proven a lot, but can he prove it at End of the Trail? We’re about to find out.

The scene faded from the arena to a small suburban home, with a label of Portland, Oregon, 10/25/24. Inside the house, Douglas Brunswick was watching his ever End of the Trail main event, a title defense against Crash MuscleGate, with his mother, father, and sister.

Douglas Brunswick: It’s the day after I’ve become number one contender. I’m watching how…I lost this match a few years ago to Crash. He always bragged about his cardio. It came in handy. And I think about this match a lot. Mom and Dad were there and…I didn’t pull it off.

Brunswick was then seen getting on a bike, pedaling around Portland. As he was done, an exercise tracker showed the date and his distance traveled. The date kept moving forward, with shots of Brunswick biking, and his miles increasing steadily, until getting to the hundreds.

The date then read 11/16/24, and Brunswick got on his bike outside his home and started pedaling, with just a backpack on.  The date kept increasing, and the miles started to rise, but now the location started to change, crossing the state lines into Washington, and riding along, up to Seattle, to the Canadian border, and finally getting close enough to the Vancouver skyline, getting an audible cheer from the live audience. Brunswick finally arrived at the arena the day prior, and met his family.

Douglas Brunswick: I’ll see you guys at ringside tomorrow. This time I’m going to do it.

The scene faded to the arena and Douglas Brunswick’s music hit. The challenger made his way down to the ring, keeping his emotions in check. As he got to ringside, his parents and sister were there. He gave them each a hug, said some words to them, and slid into the ring, ready for his opponent.

Franco Mancini’s music started up, and he slowly walked out onto the stage, holding the HAW World Championship on his shoulder. He took a few steps forward, and six men in suits formed a line for him to walk between. One man held a replica of the NRWL Championship. One held a replica of the HAW Tag Team Championship. The other four held replicas of the HAW World Championship. As Franco walked past all 6 men, he stopped in front of them, and they formed a line behind him, and they all raised the titles into the air. Franco then stepped up onto a raised platform, and held his title, higher than the others.

Franco continued his way down to the ring, and slowly made his way to Brunswick’s family. He seemed to respectfully extend his hand for a shake, which his father reluctantly accepted. He did the same for his mother, and she shook back, and finally his sister. As Brunswick’s sister shook Franco’s hand, he held it, then placed it on top of the HAW World Championship on his shoulder. Franco turned to Brunswick’s parents, the camera picking up audio.

Franco Mancini: This right here is the last time one of your children will touch this title.

Franco moved Brunswick’s sister off the title, and went into the ring. Brunswick was not happy, and as Franco extended for a shake, Brunswick refused, staring him down.

Referee Dennis Thompson took the title and held it up, and with the crowd roaring, the bell rang and the match started.

Each man slowly paced each other in the ring, before finally locking up. The two felt each other out for the early bits, but as Douglas would go for attacks, Franco seemed to be able to predict them, and was using his experience to wear Brunswick down. Brunswick finally got a solid shot in to stun Mancini, and went for a springboard clothesline but Franco dodged. This mistake gave Franco all he needed to start a relentless assault, and Franco managed to Whack Brunswick, a Throat Thrust, and hit the Pickpocket, a Reverse STO. Franco covered, but Brunswick kicked out.

Franco was unphased by the kickout, and continued working on Brunswick. Brunswick reversed an irish whip and tried to get something going but Mancini caught Brunswick and hit a second Pickpocket. Franco covered, but again Brunswick kicked out.

Edward Findleton: Wow! This early match is all Franco Mancini!

THE Casey Gains: But look at Mancini, all business! He’s back on Brunswick!

Franco started to slow the match down, with holds and quick strikes. The constant holds slowly sapped the energy of Brunswick, who struggled to get out. With a desperation leg sweep, he finally escaped, and launched a flurry of adrenaline slams to stop Mancini’s dominance. Douglas was tired, but knew he couldn’t let up. For the next few minutes, Brunswick methodically picked Mancini apart. He sensed the moment was right, and managed to pull off his Lifting Reverse DDT.

Edward Findleton: One, two, NO!

Brunswick looked disappointed that this wasn’t enough, but resolved to continue. He got Franco up and tried a second Lifting Reverse DDT, but Franco blocked it, and managed to wriggle into a roll up, forcing Brunswick to kick out at 2. The two tired men got to their feet, squared off, and started to exchange blows, but after a solid forearm shot from Mancini, he was able to capitalize with more blows to the midsection of Douglas.

Franco started another calculated assault on Brunswick, with more submissions, but Brunswick refused to tap. Brunswick tried his best to escape, but instead was met with a third Whack and Pickpocket combination. Satisfied, Franco covered Brunswick again, and managed to pick up a 2.5 count, but not the three as Douglas Brunswick barely kicked out. Franco showed no sign of surprise or shock, and went right back to work.

Mancini got Brunswick to his feet, but was shocked by a sudden burst of energy from Brunswick, who seemed to be running on pure adrenaline. Brunswick started to accelerate the pace, hitting some quick slams and even a top rope clothesline. Fired up, Brunswick grabbed a stunned Mancini, and hit the Lifting Reverse DDT. Brunswick hooked the leg, and referee Dennis Thompson got to the mat, but couldn’t count to three, as Mancini managed to kick out.

Brunswick was visibly shocked, and argued with Thompson, who reiterated it was 2. After taking a second to calm down, he quickly started up the fast tempo. As Brunswick ran towards Franco, Franco managed to tangle up with Brunswick and get in position for the Pickpocket. Brunswick blocked it, elbowed Mancini, and hit a third Lifting Reverse DDT. He quickly covered.

Edward Findleton: Could this be it?!

The crowd counted along at one, at two, and at three, it could not be completed as Mancini kicked out again.

THE Casey Gains: Wow! That’s all I can say at this point is wow!

Douglas was now completely besides himself. His eyes were completely wide, in shock, and running his hand through his hair, with a look of panic on his face. Brunswick was so lost in his thoughts, he didn’t realize Franco was using the ropes to get to his feet. By the time he realized, Franco was up, though both men were exhausted. With a final burst of energy from both, they charged at each other, performing counters, slams, and trading offense on a 50/50 split.

Each was trying to hit their finisher, putting the match away, but each attempt was scouted and blocked. Franco changed techniques and suddenly connected with a haymaker, knocking Brunswick down to a knee. Franco then sized up Brunswick, and as Brunwick stood up, Franco dropped to a knee to Whack Brunswick. However, Brunswick hit a quick kick to Mancini’s head. Brunswick then grabbed Mancini, and hit him with his own finisher, the Pickpocket.

Both men collapsed to the ground on their back. An exhausted Douglas Brunswick did a full roll to get closer, and still on his back, placed an arm over Franco Mancini. Thompson got down for the count, and this time managed to count to three, with Brunswick coming out the victor in 43:44.

Edward Findleton: It’s finally over! It’s finally over! We have a new champion!

Brunswick could hardly move, and only had the strength to cover his face with his hands in disbelief. Both men were breathing hard, lying on the ground.

THE Casey Gains: An absolute classic with two great wrestlers. There is no wrestler in the world who would have beat Douglas Brunswick tonight, and for Franco Mancini, there is only one wrestler who could have beat him tonight, and just happened to be his opponent.

Edward Findleton: The dream of Mancini’s Grand Slam has come short, but for Brunswick, he’s become a two time world champion, and has achieved it at End of the Trail, proving he has what it takes!

After a solid minute, Brunswick was finally able to get to his knees, and was able to hold the title. He rolled out of the ring and hugged and celebrated with his family first at ringside. After finally getting that moment, he went back to the ring, sat on the ring ropes, and held the World Championship.

Edward Findleton: Douglas Brunswick stands tall tonight. He can go home as World Champion! Folks, thank you for joining us this season and being part of End of the Trail! For THE Casey Gains, I’m Edward Findleton, and we’ll see you next year!
