The HAW Lockup Theme kicked the show off.

Eve Solace: Welcome to HAW! We’re back for the second half of the season, kicking off with Lockup in Milwaukee, Wisconsin!! I’m Eve Solace, and I’m joined by my new commentary partner, Athena!

Athena: It’s great to join you Eve! I watched Lockup last Spring and loved every bit of it, and I’m excited to be here in person to witness it all!

Eve Solace: We’re getting straight to the action, with our first match of the show, Monica Stone vs Zoey Chambers!

Monica Stone entered first, seemingly reading a rulebook intently as she made her way to the ring. Zoey Chambers and the rest of The Stable, Jenna Ingram and Hazel Glover followed.

Throughout the match, Stone kept trying to use referee Mira Levenberg as a shield, hoping Zoey would strike the ref and be disqualified.  The strategy backfired though when Zoey slid under Mira’s legs and was able to attack Monica from below. Zoey was able to gain control, hit the Jumping DDT, and picked up the win.

She high fived with Jenna and Hazel, but the celebration was cut off as The Executioness, Elena Dubois’ music started up.

Eve Solace: The new HAW Women’s National Champion is here!

Dubois walked down to the ring, and went face to face with Zoey. Zoey glanced at the title, and Dubois smirked slightly. She glanced back at the title, then to Zoey. She could be heard asking Zoey “You want this?” and as Zoey nodded, Dubois simply left the ring, leaving Zoey confused.

Athena: I’m not so sure what just happened…Was that a challenge? A fake out?

Eve Solace: I can’t say for certain, and I don’t think Zoey or her Stable-mates have a clue either…

Backstage, “The Marauder” Sophie Lester was talking with Sabrina Nova, catching up on Sophie’s big win at Downtown Disaster.

Sabrina Nova: You and Kherti beating Crystal and Rachel…tha was fun to watch, I loved being part of it!

Sophie Lester: Definitely a great debut…and your arm is healed?

Sabrina Nova: Yep, I’m cleared to wrestle!

Sophie Lester: Well if you’re interested in a challenge, let me know. I’m open to a tough fight.

Crystal Cyclone: Ewwww!

At that point, the Solo Girls, Crystal Cyclone and Rachel, walked into the scene.

Crystal Cyclone: Are you two bonding over…fighting each other? There’s nothing more lame than that, trust me.

Rachel: Besides, you two should be more concerned about the bigger fish that can get you.

Sophie Lester: Last time I was in the ring with you girls…I saw two losers. I don’t think I have anything to worry about.

At that point, Maisie Lane came from behind and attacked Sabrina Nova, and Rachel and Crystal jumped Sophie. Maisie worked on the healed arm of Sabrina, while the Solo Girls double teamed Sophie. Security managed to separate the three assailants, and Sabrina, Rachel, and Maisie all shared a nod of understanding and walked off together.

Eve Solace: That looked like a bit of an alliance was formed…maybe it’s the Triple Girls now?

Athena: I’m not sure on the name, but there was another unusual alliance last spring, Alicia McCarthy and Sekino the Stunt Pilot, interested in the Dystopians Tag Team Titles. But, the Revellers, Teri and Roo also wanted those. Our next match is Alicia McCarthy vs Roo!

McCarthy came out first, Sekino by her side, and the two fearsome women seemed to be ready and strategized.

The Revellers followed, with Roo and Teri both casually taking in the atmosphere, not showing much worry.

Before the match could begin though, The Dystopians, Void-N and Dark Raven, came out and stood at the top of the ramp. They seemed content to watch the match take place.

As the match started, the much more physically intimidating Alicia had successfully hit some powerful slams on Roo, but Roo reversed her fortune when she turned McCarthy’s Double Underhook Powerbomb into a hurricanrana. Roo started to gain momentum until referee Brenda Moses got distracted by Sekino, and McCarthy raked Roo’s eyes multiple times. The blinded Roo stumbled around and this time, McCarthy successfully hit the Double Underhook Powerbomb and pinned Roo.

Teri rolled Roo out to help her, while McCarthy and Sekino pointed up at the Dystopians. Void-N and Dark Raven both looked unimpressed, rolled their eyes and departed to the back.

Eve Solace: I thought it was a strong statement win by Alicia, but The Dystopians seem to disagree.

Athena: I’ll say this, there’s a huge world of difference between tag team and solo wrestling. Believing in yourself is one thing, believing in your partner is another. Alicia has been a successful singles competitor so I’m not surprised at the outcome, but there may be more to this judging by the Dystopian’s reaction.

The ring eventually cleared, and finally, the HAW Women’s World Champion, Moonlight came out to a chorus of boo’s, along with her Smiling Sally. She got into the ring and held a microphone.

Moonlight: I think there should be some more respect shown for a World Champion’s first entrance!

The crowd responded with even louder booing.

Moonlight: Got it. It makes sense. You are all jealous of my success. My rise to the top of this company will be told for years to come, as I foresee my reign lasting until I retire! So get used to me holding this, because everyone likes a winner, and soon enough, you will ALL be cheering me!

At that point, Kherti Bhakta’s music played, and the crowd erupted as The White Tiger made her way down to the ring.

Eve Solace: Oh wow! If Moonlight truly wants to have her success story told for years, then there’s no better way than facing off against Kherti Bhakta!

Athena: I promise Eve, I’m going to try to remain unbiased as Kherti is my close friend but…Moonlight is really going to have a tough, tough challenger, if this truly is who she’ll be facing.

Kherti stood in the ring with a mic, listening to the cheers from the fans and smiling.

Kherti Bhakta: Alright. Let’s cut straight to why I’m here. I’m challenging you!

The crowd cheered, and Moonlight seemed disgusted at first, before grinning.

Moonlight: You’re challenging me? Me? The HAW Women’s World Champion? Kherti, you don’t DESERVE this. If I recall, we fought at One Way Trip, right? And…I forget, I think we need to go back online and check the records but who won that? Wasn’t it… Oh! That’s right, of course! I beat you!

Kherti Bhakta: …Yeah. Yeah you did. Not my best showing, and I’ll admit, I was off my game with your little friend staring me down the whole time. But…I think I’m ready now. And besides, if you beat me before…you can do it again, right? Unless you’re afraid…

Moonlight: I’m not afraid, and I’m not falling for your stupid tricks. I know my worth, you don’t know yours. If you want me…then you have to beat Sally first! How about that, next week Smiling Sally and The Loser Tiger, Kherti Bhakta!

Kherti took a step back, observing Sally and thinking it over.

Kherti Bhakta: You know, the theme of the night I’ve noticed is that all these championship matches have had this ambiguity, with no one really responding to challenges. So…..

Kherti shrugged, dropped the mic, and left the ring.

Moonlight: Hah! Now who’s afraid Kherti?! Go ahead and run!

Moonlight laughed as Kherti walked to the back, and Moonlight held her title high as her music played to end the show.
